Preserve me, O God: For I do put my trust in You. ² O my soul, you have said to the LORD, "You are my Lord: My goodness cannot stretch to reach You"; ³ but to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. ⁴ Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god: I will not offer their drink offerings of blood, nor take up their names into my lips. ⁵ The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: You maintain my lot. ⁶ The lines are fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage. ⁷ I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel: My inner reins also instruct me in the night seasons. ⁸ I have set the LORD always before me: Because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. ⁹ Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: My flesh also shall rest in hope. ¹⁰ For You will not leave my soul in hell; neither will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. ¹¹ You will show me the path of life: In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

¹⁰ And those that know Your name will put their trust in You: For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

⁸ Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

²³ O love the LORD, all you His saints: For the LORD preserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer.

²⁸ For the LORD loves judgment, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

O God, You have cast us off, You have scattered us, You have been displeased; O turn Yourself to us again.

¹² O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

¹⁰ You who love the LORD, hate evil: He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

⁶ The LORD preserves the simple: I was brought low, and He helped me.

¹ A Song of degrees. Those who trust in the LORD shall be as Mount Zion which cannot be removed, but abides forever.

⁵ Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

⁸ He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of His saints.

³ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: Because he trusts in You. ⁴ Trust in the LORD forever: For in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

⁷ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. ⁸ For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, and which spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaves shall be green; and shall not be anxious in the year of drought, nor shall cease from yielding fruit.

⁹ But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead:

¹² For this reason I also suffer these things: Nevertheless I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him until that day.

² can a man be profitable to God, as he that is wise may be profitable to himself? ³ Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you are righteous? Or is it gain to him, that you make your ways perfect?

⁷ If you be righteous, what give you him? Or what receives he of your hand? ⁸ Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; and your righteousness may profit the son of man.

¹ To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens.

⁸ When You said, "Seek my face"; my heart said to You, "LORD, I will seek Your face."

¹⁴ But I trusted in You, O LORD: I said, "You are my God.

⁹ I will take no bull out of your house, nor he-goats out of your folds. ¹⁰ For every wild beast of the forest is mine, and the domestic beasts upon a thousand hills.

²⁵ Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is none on earth that I desire beside you.

²⁶ He shall cry to Me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.'

² I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in Him I will trust."

¹³ O LORD our God, other lords beside You have had dominion over us: But by only You will we make mention of Your name.

⁵ One shall say, 'I am the LORD's'; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand to the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

⁹ And I will bring the one-third through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will prove them through testing as gold is proved: They shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, 'It is My people': And they shall say, 'The LORD is my God.' "

¹⁰ So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, 'We are unprofitable servants: We have done what was our duty to do.' "

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God."

³⁵ "Or who has first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed to him again?"

⁴¹ Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength: Let your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints rejoice in goodness.

⁴ Sing to the LORD, O you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

⁶ My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

¹⁵ Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.

⁶³ I am a companion of all those that fear You, and of those that keep Your precepts.

³¹ rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

²⁶ The righteous is more excellent than his neighbor: But the way of the wicked seduces them.

²⁰ He that walks with wise men shall be wise: But a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

¹ Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes within your locks: Your hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from Mount Gilead. ² Your teeth are like a flock of evenly shorn sheep, which came up from the washing; every one of which bears twins, and none is barren among them. ³ Your lips are like a thread of scarlet, and your speech is proper: Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within your locks. ⁴ Your neck is like the tower of David built for an armory, on which hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men. ⁵ Your two breasts are like two young gazelles that are twins, which feed among the lilies. ⁶ Until the daybreak, and the shadows flee away, I will get myself to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. ⁷ You are all fair, my love; there is no spot in you.

¹⁰ I am my beloved's, and his desire is towards me.

⁴ You shall no longer be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: For the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.

¹⁷ "And they shall be Mine", says the LORD of hosts, "in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him."

¹³ Then Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem:

¹⁰ Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; ²⁶ that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

⁸ This is a faithful saying, and it is my will that you affirm these things constantly, that those who have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

¹⁰ For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He that does not love his brother abides in death. ¹⁵ Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: And you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we perceive the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: And we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. ¹⁷ But whoever has this world's good life, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his inner heart of compassion from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?

¹⁴ And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: And he poured a drink offering on it, and he poured oil on it.

¹³ And in all things that I have said to you be circumspect: And make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.

¹³ And the food offering of it shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to the LORD for a sweet smell: And the drink offering of it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

⁷ that you come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves to them:

¹⁰ Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: But he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall compass around him.

⁷ All those who serve graven images are confounded, that boast themselves of idols: Worship Him, all you gods.

³⁷ Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to devils, ³⁸ and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan: And the land was polluted with blood.

⁶ Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: Even to them you have poured a drink offering, you have offered a food offering. Should I receive comfort in these?

¹¹ But you are those who forsake the LORD, who forget My holy mountain, who prepare a table for that troop, and who furnish the drink offering to that number.

³ He who kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he who offers an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he who burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.

¹⁸ The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.

¹⁶ And it shall be on that day", says the LORD, "that you shall call Me Ishi; and shall no longer call Me Baali. ¹⁷ For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no longer be remembered by their name.

⁸ Those that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

⁹ Then the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, ¹⁰ the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: ¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: And they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

⁴ And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you are not partakers of her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues. ⁵ For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

⁹ For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

⁶ "Yet I have set My king upon My holy hill of Zion."

⁴ For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging righteously.

⁶ Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: This shall be the portion of their cup.

⁷ For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved. ⁸ Your hand shall find out all Your enemies: Your right hand shall find out those that hate You. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger: The LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ You shall destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. ¹¹ For they intended evil against You: They imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform. ¹² Therefore You shall make them turn their back, when You shall make ready Your arrows upon Your strings against the face of them.

⁵ You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

⁶ You will prolong the king's life: And his years as many generations. ⁷ He shall abide before God forever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

²⁶ My flesh and my heart fails: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

⁴ 'I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations.' " Selah.

²⁰ I have found David My servant; with My holy oil I have anointed him: ²¹ With whom My hand shall be established: My arm also shall strengthen him. ²² The enemy shall not practice extortion upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. ²³ And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those that hate him. ²⁴ But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and in My name his horn shall be exalted. ²⁵ I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. ²⁶ He shall cry to Me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.' ²⁷ Also I will make him My firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. ²⁸ I will keep My mercy for him forevermore, and My covenant shall stand fast with him. ²⁹ I will also make his seed to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven. ³⁰ If his children forsake My law, and do not walk in My judgments; ³¹ if they break My statutes, and do not keep My commandments; ³² then I will visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. ³³ Nevertheless I will not utterly take My lovingkindness from him, nor will I allow My faithfulness to fail. ³⁴ I will not break My covenant, nor alter the thing that has gone out of My lips. ³⁵ Once I have sworn by My holiness, I will not lie to David. ³⁶ His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. ³⁷ It shall be established forever like the moon, and like a faithful witness in heaven." Selah.

¹ A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool." ² The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion to: "Rule in the midst of Your enemies."

¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

⁵⁷ CHETH: You are my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep Your words.

³ For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

¹¹ The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it; "From the fruit of your body I will set kings upon the throne.

¹⁷ There I will make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for My anointed. ¹⁸ I will clothe his enemies with shame: But his crown shall flourish upon himself."

⁵ I cried out to You, O LORD: I said, "You are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

¹ Behold My servant, whom I uphold; My elect, in whom My soul delights; I have put My spirit on Him: He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

¹² Therefore I will divide to Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death: And He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

¹⁶ The portion of Jacob is not like them: For He is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance: The LORD of hosts is His name.

²⁴ "The LORD is my portion", said my soul; "therefore I will hope in Him."

³² This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

³¹ God has exalted Him with His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

²⁵ For He must reign, until He has put all enemies under His feet.

¹⁸ And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

¹ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The king shall take joy in Your strength, O LORD; and how greatly shall he rejoice in Your salvation! ² You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. ³ For You go before him with the blessings of goodness: You set a crown of pure gold on his head.

⁵⁵ He also cast out the heathen before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

¹⁹ But I said, "How shall I put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations?" and I said, "You shall call Me, my Father; and shall not turn away from Me."

¹⁷ Therefore thus says the LORD; 'Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you shall die in a polluted land: And Israel shall surely go forth into captivity from his land.' "

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, "Do not touch Me; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: But go to My brethren, and say to them, 'I ascend to My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God.' "

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if as should be we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

²¹ Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; ²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; ²³ and you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

¹⁸ The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

⁹ Therefore God has also highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ¹² If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: If we deny Him, He will also deny us:

² looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

²¹ To him that overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne."

³ You have proved my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have examined me, and shall find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

² O my God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; and in the night season, and am not silent.

⁸ Yet the LORD will command His lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer to the God of my life.

⁶ When I remember You on my bed, and meditate on You in the night watches.

²¹ Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my inner reins.

²⁴ You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

² In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My sore ran in the night, and did not cease: My soul refused to be comforted.

⁶ I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with my own heart: And my spirit made diligent search.

⁷ I will praise You with uprightness of heart, when I have learned Your righteous judgments.

⁵⁵ I have remembered Your name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept Your law.

¹⁴⁸ My eyes go before the night watches, that I might meditate in Your word.

¹⁴ Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

² And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; ³ and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: And he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: ⁴ But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: And he shall smite the earth: With the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

⁹ With my soul I have desired You in the night; yes, with my spirit within me I will seek You early: For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

¹⁷ Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD your God who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

⁴ The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary: He wakens morning by morning, He wakens my ear to hear as the learned.

² You have planted them, yes, they have taken root: They grow, yes, they bring forth fruit: You are near in their mouth, and far from their mind.

¹⁰ I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

¹² And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searches the inner reins and hearts: And I will give to every one of you according to your works.

⁵ He that does not put out his money to receive usury, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

⁶ He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved.

²³ Nevertheless I am continually with You: You have held me by my right hand.

³¹ For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those who condemn his soul.

⁵ The LORD at Your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.

⁵ The LORD is your keeper: The LORD is your shade upon your right hand.

¹⁸ If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: When I awake, I am still with You.

²⁵ For David speaks concerning Him, 'I foresaw the LORD always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: ²⁶ Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh also shall rest in hope: ²⁷ Because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You permit Your Holy One to see corruption. ²⁸ You have made known to me the ways of life; You shall make me full of joy with Your countenance.'

²⁷ By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: For he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible.

¹⁴ If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. ¹⁵ You shall call, and I will answer you: You will have a desire to the work of your hands.

²⁶ And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: ²⁷ Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

⁷ You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their grain and their wine increased. ⁸ I will both lay myself down in peace, and sleep: For You alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.

¹² to the end that my glory may sing praise to You, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

⁸ Awaken, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

¹ A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

³² The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: But the righteous has hope in his death.

¹⁹ Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust: For your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

²¹ In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, "I thank You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes: Even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Your sight." ²² "All things are delivered to Me from My Father: And no man knows who the Son is, except the Father; and who the Father is, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son will reveal Him."

²⁶ Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh also shall rest in hope:

¹³ But I would not like you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are deceased, that you do not sorrow, even as others who have no hope. ¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those which are also deceased in Jesus.

⁵ Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles! ⁶ And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: Thus is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. ⁷ For every kind of beast, and birds, serpents, and things in the sea are tamed, and have been tamed by mankind: ⁸ But no man can tame the tongue; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. ⁹ With it we bless God, even the Father; and with it we curse men, who are made in the similitude of God.

²⁸ You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks on you: I am the LORD.

⁶ All the days that he separates himself to the LORD he shall come at no dead body.

²² For a fire is kindled in my anger, and shall burn to the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

⁸ It is as high as heaven; what can you do? Deeper than hell; what can you know?

¹⁷ The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

¹⁵ But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: For He shall receive me. Selah.

⁸ If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

¹¹ Hell and destruction are before the LORD: How much more then are the hearts of the children of men before Him?

²⁰ Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

¹⁴ Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: And their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it.

⁹ Hell from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: It stirs up the dead for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

² Though they dig into hell, there My hand shall take them; though they climb up to heaven, there I will bring them down:

³⁵ And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: Therefore that Holy One which shall be born of you shall also be called the Son of God.

³⁴ saying, "Let us alone; what have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did you come to destroy us? I know who You are; the Holy One of God."

²³ And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

²⁷ Because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You permit Your Holy One to see corruption. ²⁸ You have made known to me the ways of life; You shall make me full of joy with Your countenance.' ²⁹ "Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, after the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; ³¹ he foreseeing this beforehand, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption.

¹⁴ But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted to you; ¹⁵ and killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.

³⁵ Therefore He also says in another Psalm, 'You shall not permit Your Holy One to see corruption.' ³⁶ "For David, after he had served the will of God in his own generation, fell asleep dead, and was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption: ³⁷ But He, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. ³⁸ Therefore let it be known to you, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins:

⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

⁵⁰ Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all decease, but we shall all be changed, ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory." ⁵⁵ "O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"

¹⁸ I am He that lives, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead that were in them: And they were judged, every man according to their works.

¹⁵ As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Your likeness.

⁴ He asked life of You, and You gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever. ⁵ His glory is great in Your salvation: You have laid honor and majesty upon him. ⁶ For You have made him most blessed forever: You have made him exceedingly glad with Your countenance.

⁷ How excellent is your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. ⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You shall make them drink of the river of Your pleasures.

²⁴ And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

¹⁹ None that go to her return again, neither do they take hold of the paths of life.

¹⁸ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.

⁶ Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that you cannot know them.

²⁸ In the way of righteousness is life; and in that pathway there is no death.

³ And many people shall go and say, "Come all of you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths": For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart: For they shall see God.

¹⁴ Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the pathway which leads to life, and there are few that find it.

³³ And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: But the righteous into life eternal."

¹⁹ So then after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

²⁸ You have made known to me the ways of life; You shall make me full of joy with Your countenance.'

⁵⁶ and said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God."

¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also vivify your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you.

¹² For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: Now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I also am known.

¹⁷ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

²¹ Who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

²² Who has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject to Him.

² Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

²⁴ Now to Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,

¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple: And He that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. ¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. ¹⁷ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to living fountains of waters: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

⁵ And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: And they shall reign forever and ever.
