⁹ They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to those who drink it.

¹² Those who sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

⁷ Go your way, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; God accepts your works for now.

¹¹ Woe to those that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; who continue until night, till wine inflames them! ¹² And the harp, and the viol, the tambourine, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: But they do not regard the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of His hands.

¹⁵ The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
