Philippians 4 Cross References - RKJNT

1 Therefore, my brethren, whom I dearly love and long for, my joy and crown, in this way stand fast in the Lord, my beloved. 2 I urge Euodia, and urge Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 And I ask you also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they have laboured with me in the gospel, together with Clement, and the rest of my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your forbearing spirit be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be anxious about nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are admirable; if there is any virtue, and if there is anything worthy of praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which you have learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. 10 But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your care for me; indeed, you did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak from want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content. 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound: in all circumstances I have learned how to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. 14 Nevertheless, you have done well to share in my affliction. 15 Now you Philippians also know, that at the beginning of the gospel ministry, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in giving and receiving, but you alone. 16 For even in Thessalonica you more than once sent help to provide for my needs. 17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit that increases to your credit. 18 But I have received all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and well-pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar's household. 23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

10 Now I urge you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 Therefore, judge nothing before the time; before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will disclose the motives of the heart: and then every man shall have his praise from God.

1 Corinthians 4:9-13

9 For I think that God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as if we were condemned to death: for we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honoured, but we are despised. 11 Even to this present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are ill-clothed, and are buffeted, and are homeless;

1 Corinthians 4:11-13

11 Even to this present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are ill-clothed, and are buffeted, and are homeless; 12 And we labour, working with our own hands: when reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure it:

1 Corinthians 4:12-13

12 And we labour, working with our own hands: when reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure it: 13 When slandered, we answer kindly; we have been made the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things, even to this day.

1 Corinthians 6:7

7 Now, it is utterly a defeat for you that you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather suffer the wrong? why do you not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded?

1 Corinthians 7:21

21 Were you called when a slave? do not let it trouble you: but if you may become free, do so.

1 Corinthians 7:29-31

29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: from now on let those who have wives be as though they had none; 30 And those who weep, as though they did not weep; and those who rejoice, as though they did not rejoice; and those who buy, as though they did not possess; 31 And those who use this world, as though not engrossed in it: for the form of this world passes away. 32 I would have you be without concern. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

1 Corinthians 8:13

13 Therefore, if food makes my brother fall, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother fall.

1 Corinthians 9:10-11

10 Or does he say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes it is written: that he who plows should plow in hope; and he who threshes should thresh in hope of a share of the crop. 11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?

1 Corinthians 9:11-15

11 If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12 If others share this rightful claim upon you, do we not have a greater claim? Nevertheless, we have not used this right, but endure all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. 13 Do you not know that those who perform the temple services eat the food of the temple? and those who serve at the altar share what is offered at the altar? 14 In the same way the Lord ordained that those who preach the gospel should live by the gospel. 15 But I have used none of these things: nor am I writing these things that it should be done for me: for it would be better for me to die, than for any man to make my boast an empty one.

1 Corinthians 9:25

25 And every man who competes is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown; but we an imperishable.

1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1

31 Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a noisy gong, or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so that I can remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I give all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast, and is not arrogant; 5 It is not rude, does not insist on its own way, is not easily provoked, it keeps no account of wrongs suffered; 6 It does not rejoice in injustice, but rejoices in the truth; 7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails: but where there are prophecies, they shall pass away; where there are tongues, they shall cease; where there is knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect comes, then that which is partial shall pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 14:33

33 For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all churches of the saints,

1 Corinthians 15:58

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 16:13

13 Be watchful, stand fast in the faith, act like men, be strong.

2 Corinthians 1:11

11 As you help by praying for us. Then thanks will be given by many on our behalf for the favour bestowed upon us by the prayers of many.

2 Corinthians 1:14

14 Just as also you have understood us in part and recognized that you can be proud of us, even as we can be proud of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

2 Corinthians 2:14-16

14 Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and makes manifest through us the fragrance of the knowledge of him in every place. 15 For we are an aroma of Christ to God, among those who are being saved, and among those who are perishing: 16 To the one we are the aroma of death to death; and to the other the aroma of life to life. And who is equal to such a calling?

2 Corinthians 3:4-5

4 And such is the trust we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;

2 Corinthians 4:17

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, prepares for us an incomparable and eternal weight of glory;

2 Corinthians 5:19-20

19 That is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not counting men's sins against them; and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were making his appeal through us: we beg you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 6:4-10

4 But as the ministers of God we commend ourselves in all things; in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distress, 5 In beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in sleeplessness, in hunger; 6 By purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned love, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left,

2 Corinthians 6:7-10

7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left, 8 In honour and dishonour, in evil report and good report: regarded as deceivers, and yet true;

2 Corinthians 6:8-10

8 In honour and dishonour, in evil report and good report: regarded as deceivers, and yet true; 9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, yet, behold, we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; 10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 6:10-10

10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 7:6-7

6 But God, who comforts those who are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7 And not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced still more.

2 Corinthians 8:9

9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that through his poverty you might become rich.

2 Corinthians 8:18

18 And we have sent with him the brother whose fame in the gospel ministry has spread throughout all the churches;

2 Corinthians 8:21

21 For we take care to do what is honest, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

2 Corinthians 9:5

5 Therefore, I thought it necessary to urge these brethren, that they would go on ahead to you, and arrange beforehand your generous gift, which you promised, that it might be ready, as a willing gift, and not as one grudgingly given.

2 Corinthians 9:8

8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you; that you, always having enough in all things, may abound in every good work.

2 Corinthians 9:8-11

8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you; that you, always having enough in all things, may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written, He has scattered abroad; he has given to the poor: his righteousness endures forever.

2 Corinthians 9:9-11

9 As it is written, He has scattered abroad; he has given to the poor: his righteousness endures forever. 10 Now he who provides seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

2 Corinthians 9:10-11

10 Now he who provides seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; 11 You will be enriched in everything, so you can be generous, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

2 Corinthians 9:11-11

11 You will be enriched in everything, so you can be generous, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 12 For the performance of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints, but also overflows in many thanksgivings to God.

2 Corinthians 9:12

12 For the performance of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints, but also overflows in many thanksgivings to God. 13 Because of the proof given by this service, they will glorify God because of your obedience to the gospel of Christ, which you profess, and for your liberal contribution to them, and to all;

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 Now I, Paul, urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who am meek in your presence, but bold when I am absent from you.

2 Corinthians 10:10

10 For his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

2 Corinthians 11:7

7 Have I committed an offence by abasing myself that you might be exalted, because I have preached the gospel of God to you without cost? 8 I robbed other churches, taking wages from them, to serve you. 9 And when I was present with you, and in want, I burdened no man: for that which I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will continue to do.

2 Corinthians 11:9-12

9 And when I was present with you, and in want, I burdened no man: for that which I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will continue to do. 10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man in the regions of Achaia shall stop me from this boasting. 11 Why? because I do not love you? God knows I do. 12 But what I do, that I will continue to do, that I may undermine the claim of those who desire opportunity to be regarded as our equals in that of which they boast.

2 Corinthians 11:16

16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; but if you do, receive me as a fool, that I too may boast a little.

2 Corinthians 11:27

27 In toil and hardship, in many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and nakedness.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

7 And lest I should exalt myself beyond measure through the abundance of revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger from Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted beyond measure. 8 I begged the Lord thrice, that this might depart from me. 9 And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly will I boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore, for Christ's sake, I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in distresses: for when I am weak, then I am strong. 11 I have made a fool of myself; you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind these superlative apostles, though I am nothing. 12 The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all patience, by signs, and wonders, and miracles. 13 For in what way were you less favoured than other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong. 14 Behold, for the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I do not seek what is yours, but you: for the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I to be loved the less?

2 Corinthians 12:21

21 And I fear that, when I come again, my God may humble me before you, and I shall mourn over many who have sinned and have not repented of the impurity and sexual sin and licentiousness which they have committed.

2 Corinthians 13:1-2

1 This is the third time I am coming to you. By the mouths of two or three witnesses must every matter be established. 2 The second time I was with you I warned those who have sinned in the past; and now, being absent, I warn them again, and all the others, that, if I come again, I will not spare them,

2 Corinthians 13:7

7 Now I pray to God that you do no wrong; not that we should appear approved, but that you should do that which is right, even if we appear to be failures.

2 Corinthians 13:11

11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Aim to be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

2 Corinthians 13:13

13 { (13:12) Greet one another with a holy kiss.} 14 { (13:13) All the saints greet you.} { The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.}

Galatians 1:2

2 And all the brethren who are with me, to the churches of Galatia:

Galatians 1:4-5

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father: 5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Galatians 1:8

8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be eternally accursed.

Galatians 2:3

3 But not even Titus, who was with me, though a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

Galatians 5:1

1 It is for liberty that Christ has made us free. Therefore, stand fast and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Galatians 6:6

6 Let him who is taught the word share all good things with him who teaches.

Galatians 6:10

10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Ephesians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 1:7

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:18

18 That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 2:7

7 That in the ages to come he might show the incomparable riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:8

8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:16

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Ephesians 3:19

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:21

21 To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 4:1-8

1 Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope in your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all. 7 But to every one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Therefore it says, When he ascended on high, he led a host of captives, and gave gifts to men.

Ephesians 4:20-21

20 But you did not learn Christ that way; 21 If indeed you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus,

Ephesians 4:25

25 Therefore, putting away lying, let every man speak the truth with his neighbour: for we are members of one another.

Ephesians 5:2

2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice, a sweet smelling aroma to God.

Ephesians 5:9

9 (For the fruit of the Spirit consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Ephesians 5:20

20 Always giving thanks for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Ephesians 6:10-18

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

Ephesians 6:10

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand on the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Ephesians 6:14

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the readiness that is from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all these, take up the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always in the Spirit with all manner of prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert in it with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints;

Ephesians 6:18

18 Praying always in the Spirit with all manner of prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert in it with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints;

Philippians 1:1

1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons: 2 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Philippians 1:5

5 Because of your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Philippians 1:7

7 It is right for me to think this way of you all, because I have you in my heart; since both in my imprisonment, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, you are all partakers with me of grace. 8 For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:11

11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are from Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:13

13 So that my imprisonment in Christ has become known throughout the entire praetorian guard, and to all the others;

Philippians 1:27

27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or am absent, I may hear of you, that you are standing fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Philippians 2:2-3

2 Fulfill my joy by being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfishness or vain conceit; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the others as better than himself.

Philippians 2:16

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, nor laboured in vain.

Philippians 2:20-25

20 For I have no man like him, of so kindred a spirit, who will genuinely care for your welfare. 21 For all seek after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ's. 22 But you know he has proven himself, that, as a son with his father, he has served with me in the gospel. 23 Therefore, I hope to send him presently, as soon as I shall see how it will go with me. 24 And I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly. 25 Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my needs.

Philippians 2:25-26

25 Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my needs. 26 For he longed after you all, and was full of distress, because you had heard that he had been sick.

Philippians 2:26-26

26 For he longed after you all, and was full of distress, because you had heard that he had been sick.

Philippians 2:30

30 Because for the work of Christ he was near to death, not regarding his life, to complete the service you could not give.

Philippians 3:1

1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is no trouble, and is a safeguard for you.

Philippians 3:8

8 Furthermore, I count all things as loss compared to the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may win Christ,

Philippians 3:16

16 Only let us hold true to that which we have already attained. 17 Brethren, join together in following me, and note those who walk according to our example.

Philippians 3:20-21

20 But our citizenship is in heaven; from whence we eagerly look for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our lowly body, that it may be fashioned like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Philippians 4:2

2 I urge Euodia, and urge Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.

Philippians 4:7

7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:9

9 Those things, which you have learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Philippians 4:11

11 Not that I speak from want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content. 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound: in all circumstances I have learned how to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Philippians 4:18

18 But I have received all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and well-pleasing to God.

Philippians 4:23

23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Colossians 1:7

7 As you learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf;

Colossians 1:11

11 Strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, with all endurance and patience with joyfulness;

Colossians 1:27

27 To whom God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the riches of the glory of this mystery; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 3:15

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to this; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 4:2

2 Continue in prayer, and be watchful in it with thanksgiving;

Colossians 4:5

5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, making the most of the time.

Colossians 4:10-14

10 Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas, (regarding him you received instructions: that if he comes to you, welcome him;) 11 And Jesus, who is called Justus. These are my only fellow workers for the kingdom of God who are of the circumcision, and they have been a comfort to me. 12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, greets you, always labouring fervently for you in prayer, that you may stand firm and fully assured in all the will of God.

Colossians 4:12-14

12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, greets you, always labouring fervently for you in prayer, that you may stand firm and fully assured in all the will of God. 13 For I bear him witness, that he has a great zeal for you, and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis. 14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

1 Thessalonians 1:6

6 And you became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word despite much affliction, with joy from the Holy Spirit:

1 Thessalonians 2:2-12

2 But even after we had already suffered, and were shamefully treated, as you know, in Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God despite much opposition. 3 For our exhortation does not spring from error, or impurity, or guile: 4 But just as we were approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts. 5 For at no time did we use either flattering words, as you know, or a cloak for greed; as God is witness:

1 Thessalonians 2:5

5 For at no time did we use either flattering words, as you know, or a cloak for greed; as God is witness: 6 Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have asserted our authority, as the apostles of Christ. 7 But we were gentle among you, as a nursing mother cherishes her children: 8 So having a yearning affection for you, we were willing to impart to you, not only the gospel of God, but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us. 9 For you remember, brethren, our toil and hardship: we laboured night and day, because we did not want to burden any of you as we preached to you the gospel of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:9

9 For you remember, brethren, our toil and hardship: we laboured night and day, because we did not want to burden any of you as we preached to you the gospel of God. 10 You are witnesses, and so is God, how holy and just and blameless was our behaviour toward you who believe: 11 Just as you know how we exhorted and comforted and implored every one of you, as a father does his children, 12 That you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:12

12 That you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:14

14 For you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God in Christ Jesus which are in Judaea: for you also have suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they have from the Jews:

1 Thessalonians 2:18

18 Therefore, we wanted to come to you, and I, Paul, more than once; but Satan hindered us. 19 For what is our hope, our joy, our crown of rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? Is it not even you? 20 For you are our glory and joy.

1 Thessalonians 3:8-9

8 For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord. 9 For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy which we have before our God because of you;

1 Thessalonians 3:13

13 So that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

1 Furthermore, we urge you, brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have learned from us how you ought to walk and to please God, as indeed you are doing, so you would do more and more. 2 For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you should abstain from sexual immorality, 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in holiness and honour; 5 Not in the lust of passion, as the Gentiles who do not know God: 6 That no man might transgress and defraud his brother in any matter: because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, as we also have told you and warned you. 7 For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness. 8 Therefore, he who rejects this, does not reject man, but God, who has also given you his Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 4:12

12 That you may behave properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4

2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction shall come upon them, as birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that this day should overtake you as a thief.

1 Thessalonians 5:13

13 And esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

21 Test all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all forms of evil. 23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:3

3 We ought always to thank God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith grows abundantly, and the love of every one of you for each other grows greater;

2 Thessalonians 2:2

2 That you not be quickly shaken in mind, or alarmed, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter purporting to be from us, saying that the day of Christ is at hand.

2 Thessalonians 2:15

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold to the traditions which you have been taught by us, whether by word, or by letter.

2 Thessalonians 3:4

4 And we have confidence in the Lord regarding you, that you are doing and will continue to do the things which we command.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-10

6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother who is idle and does not walk according to the tradition which you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us: for we were not idle among you; 8 Nor did we eat any man's bread without paying; but with labour and toil we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you: 9 Not because we do not have the right, but to make ourselves an example for you to follow. 10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: if any will not work, neither shall he eat.

2 Thessalonians 3:16

16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace always in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

1 Timothy 1:17

17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Timothy 2:2

2 For kings, and for all who are in authority; that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence.

1 Timothy 3:3

3 Not given to wine, not combative, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money; 4 One who rules his own house well, having his children under control, commanding their respect in all ways;

1 Timothy 3:7-8

7 Moreover, he must have a good reputation among those who are outside; lest he fall into disgrace and the snare of the devil. 8 Deacons, likewise, must be serious, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for gain;

1 Timothy 3:11

11 In the same way, the women must be serious, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things.

1 Timothy 4:12

12 Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 5:2

2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity.

1 Timothy 5:9-10

9 Let a widow be placed on the roll only if she is at least sixty years old, having been the wife of one man, 10 Having a reputation for good works; if she has brought up her children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, if she has devoted herself to every good work.

1 Timothy 5:10

10 Having a reputation for good works; if she has brought up her children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, if she has devoted herself to every good work.

1 Timothy 6:6-9

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and we can carry nothing out. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. 9 But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil: and some, by craving it, have wandered from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 Timothy 6:17

17 Command those who are rich in this world not to be arrogant, nor to trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who richly gives us all things to enjoy. 18 They are to do good, that they may be rich in good works, generous and willing to share;

2 Timothy 2:1

1 Therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 4:22

22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

Titus 1:7

7 For an overseer must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not easily angered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for gain; 8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good, sensible, just, holy, self-controlled;

Titus 2:2

2 Urge the older men to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in steadfastness.

Titus 2:7

7 In all things show yourself to be an example of good works, and in your teaching show purity, dignity,

Titus 2:14

14 Who gave himself up for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people of his own, zealous for good works.

Titus 3:2

2 To speak evil of no man, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all courtesy to all men.

Titus 3:14

14 And let our people learn to engage in honest employment, so they may meet urgent needs, and that they may not be unfruitful.

Philemon 1:4

4 I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,

Philemon 1:8-9

8 Therefore, though I could be bold in Christ and order you that which is proper, 9 Yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you, I, Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Philemon 1:23-24

23 Greetings to you from Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus; 24 And from Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow labourers.

14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold our first confidence steadfast to the end;

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our hope, without wavering; (for he who promised is faithful;)

Hebrews 10:25

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.

Hebrews 10:34

34 For you had compassion on the prisoners, and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your goods, knowing that you have a better possession, and an enduring one. 35 Therefore, do not cast away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while longer, and he who shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Hebrews 11:2

2 For by it the men of old obtained approval.

Hebrews 12:14

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

Hebrews 13:5-6

5 Let your lives be free from the love of money; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. 6 So we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man can do to me.

Hebrews 13:16

16 Do not forget to do good and to share: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Amen.

Hebrews 13:24

24 Greet all those who lead you, and all the saints. Those in Italy greet you.

James 1:2-4

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you encounter various trials; 3 Knowing that the trying of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James 1:22

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

James 1:27

27 This is pure and undefiled religion before God the Father: To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted by the world.

James 3:17-18

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

James 5:8-9

1 Peter 1:4-5

4 To an imperishable and undefiled inheritance, that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are guarded by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:11

11 Seeking to find to whom and when the Spirit of Christ within them was pointing, when he testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow.

1 Peter 1:22

22 Since you have purified your souls by obeying the truth, so you have a sincere love of the brethren; love one another fervently from the heart.

1 Peter 2:5

5 You also, as living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:12

12 Conduct yourselves righteously among the Gentiles: that, though they speak against you as evildoers, they may behold your good works and glorify God on the day of visitation.

1 Peter 3:8-11

8 Finally, be of one mind, have sympathy for one another, love as brethren, be compassionate, be humble. 9 Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult: but instead with blessing; knowing that you were called to this, that you should inherit a blessing. 10 For, He who would love life, and see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile: 11 Let him turn from evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it.

1 Peter 4:7

7 But the end of all things is at hand: therefore be of sound mind and sober judgement for prayer. 8 Above all things have fervent love for one another: for love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:13

13 But rejoice, insofar as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be triumphantly joyful.

1 Peter 5:1

1 I exhort the elders who are among you, as a fellow elder, and as a witness of the sufferings of Christ and as a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2 Tend the flock of God which is in your charge, not by compulsion, but willingly; not for sordid gain, but eagerly;

1 Peter 5:7

7 Casting all your anxiety upon him; for he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:10

10 But the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

1 Peter 5:13

13 She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, greets you; and so does Mark, my son.

2 Peter 1:3-7

3 Whose divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us by his own glory and virtue: 4 By which he has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 For this very reason, give all diligence to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge self-control; and to self-control perseverance; and to perseverance godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love.

2 Peter 1:10

10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:

2 Peter 2:3

3 And in greed they shall exploit you with false words: the judgment against them from of old does not linger, and their condemnation does not slumber.

2 Peter 2:15

15 Who have forsaken the right way, and have gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

2 Peter 3:1

1 This is now the second letter, beloved, that I have written to you, in which I stir up your sincere minds by way of remembrance:

2 Peter 3:8-14

8 But, beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some men count slowness; but is patient toward you, not wanting that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens shall pass away with a roar, and the elements shall be destroyed with fervent heat, the earth and the works that are upon it shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be destroyed, what kind of people ought you to be? You should live holy and godly lives, 12 Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens shall be dissolved in fire, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. 13 But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent that you may be found at peace with him, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:17

17 But you, beloved, seeing that you know these things beforehand, beware lest you also, being led away by the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.

1 John 3:3

3 And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

18 My little children, let us not love in word or in speech; but in deed and in truth.

22 And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1 John 4:1

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

3 John 1:5-8

5 Beloved, you act faithfully whenever you perform any service for the brethren, especially when they are strangers. 6 For they have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you shall do well: 7 Because for his name's sake they went forth, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. 8 Therefore we ought to support such men, that we might be fellow workers in the truth.

3 John 1:14

14 { But I hope I shall see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.}

24 Now to him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless in the presence of his glory with exceedingly great joy, 25 To the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and majesty, dominion and authority, before all time, and now, and forevermore. Amen.
