Ephesians Cross References - RKJNT

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places: 4 Just as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to his good pleasure and will, 6 To the praise of his glorious grace, which he freely bestowed upon us in the beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Which he has lavished upon us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he set forth in him: 10 That in the fulness of time he might gather all things together under Christ, both things which are in heaven, and things which are on earth. In him 11 We have also obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we who first trusted in Christ should live for the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession, to the praise of his glory. 15 Therefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love for all the saints, 16 Do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe. It is the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he exerted in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. 22 And he has put all things under his feet, and has appointed him to be the head over all things for the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all things everywhere.

As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine; neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He who abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.

And they said to him, We have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. 3 And he said to them, Into what then were you baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism. 4 Then Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people, that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came upon them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied. 7 And there were about twelve of them in all. 8 And he went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for the space of three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God. 9 But when some were hardened, and did not believe, but spoke evil of the way before the multitude, he departed from them, took away the disciples, and held discussions daily in the school of Tyrannus. 10 And this continued for two years; so that all those who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. 11 And God performed extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that handkerchiefs or aprons he had touched were brought to the sick, and diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to pronounce the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, We command you by Jesus whom Paul preaches. 14 There were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish high priest, who were doing this. 15 And the evil spirit answered, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you? 16 And the man who had the evil spirit leaped on them, subdued them and overcame them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 And this became known to all the Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many who believed came, and confessed, and disclosed their deeds. 19 Many of those who used magic arts brought their books together, and burned them before all: and they counted the price of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So the word of God grew and prevailed mightily.

4 And perseverance, character; and character, hope: 5 And hope does not disappoint; because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Romans 5:15-19

15 But the free gift is not like the offence. For if through the offence of the one many died, how much more did the grace of God, and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to many.

Romans 5:15

15 But the free gift is not like the offence. For if through the offence of the one many died, how much more did the grace of God, and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to many. 16 And the effect of the gift is not like the effect of the one who sinned, judgment following one trespass and resulting in condemnation; but the free gift came following many offences and resulted in justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned through that one; much more shall those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ. 18 Therefore, as the offence of one brought judgment upon all men, resulting in condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one came justification that brings life for all men. 19 For just as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 The law entered, that offences might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more: 21 So that as sin has reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:5-11

5 For if we have been united with him by sharing a death like his, so shall we also share a resurrection like his: 6 Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should no longer be enslaved by sin. 7 For he who has died is freed from sin. 8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will never die again: death no longer has power over him. 10 For in his death, he died to sin once for all: but in his life, he lives to God. 11 In the same way, consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:17

17 But thanks be to God, that you who were once the slaves of sin, have obeyed from the heart that standard of teaching which was entrusted to you.

Romans 8:1

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:14-17

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of bondage leading to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry out, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him that we may also be glorified with him.

Romans 8:17

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him that we may also be glorified with him.

Romans 8:23

23 And not only the creation, but ourselves as well, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For we are saved by this hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what man hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, then we wait for it with patience.

Romans 8:28-30

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 And whom he predestined, those he also called: and whom he called, those he also justified: and whom he justified, those he also glorified.

Romans 8:33

33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is there to condemn? It is Christ who died, yes, and more than that, who was raised again, who is at the right hand of God, and who also intercedes for us.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 9:11-16

11 (Though they were not yet born, and had done nothing good or evil, in order that the purpose of God according to his choice might stand, not because of works, but because of him who calls;) 12 It was said to her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Not at all. 15 For he says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it does not depend on him who wills or runs, but on God who shows mercy.

Romans 9:23-24

23 That he might make known the riches of his glory to the vessels of mercy, which he had prepared beforehand for glory,

Romans 9:23

23 That he might make known the riches of his glory to the vessels of mercy, which he had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 Even us, whom he has called, not only from among the Jews, but also from among the Gentiles?

Romans 10:14-17

14 But how shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, unless they are sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our report? 17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Romans 11:5-6

5 Even so, at this present time, there is a remnant, chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer by works: otherwise grace is no longer grace.

Romans 11:33

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor?

Romans 12:5

5 So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually are members one of another.

Romans 13:5

5 Therefore you must be subject, not only to avoid wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Romans 15:6

6 That you may with one heart and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:12-13

12 And again, Isaiah says, The root of Jesse shall come, and he shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles hope. 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 16:25-27

25 Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret for long ages past, 26 But now has been made manifest, and through the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of faith: 27 To the only wise God, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.

1 Corinthians 1:1-2

1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

1 Corinthians 1:1

1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all those in every place who call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their Lord and ours:

1 Corinthians 1:8

8 Who shall also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:19-24

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and frustrate the cleverness of the clever. 20 Where is the wise man? where is the scribe? where is the debater of this age? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe.

1 Corinthians 1:21-24

21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe. 22 For Jews require a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness; 24 But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:30

30 But because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption:

1 Corinthians 2:7

7 But we speak the wisdom of God, once secret and hidden, which God ordained for our glory before the ages: 8 Wisdom which none of the rulers of this world understood: for had they understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

1 Corinthians 2:10-12

10 But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:10

10 But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the thoughts of a man, except the spirit which is within the man? even so no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

1 Corinthians 3:22-23

22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; 23 And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

1 Corinthians 4:12

12 And we labour, working with our own hands: when reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure it:

1 Corinthians 4:17

17 For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.

1 Corinthians 10:11

11 Now all these things happened to them as examples: and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the end of the ages has come.

1 Corinthians 11:3

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1 Corinthians 12:6

6 And there are various kinds of working, but it is the same God who works all of them in all men.

1 Corinthians 12:8

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

1 Corinthians 12:12

12 For just as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body: so it is with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

12 For just as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body: so it is with Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slave or free; and have all been made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not part of the body; is it therefore not part of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not part of the body; is it therefore not part of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But now God has set the members, every one of them, in the body, as it has pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20 But as it is, there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 No, those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are the most necessary: 23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our unpresentable parts are treated with special modesty, 24 Of which our presentable parts have no need: but God has composed the body, giving more abundant honour to that part which lacked it: 25 That there should be no division in the body; but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.

1 Corinthians 14:6

6 Now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, how will I benefit you, unless I shall speak to you some revelation, or knowledge, or prophesy, or instruction?

1 Corinthians 15:25-27

25 For he must reign, until he has put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is clear that he himself is excepted, who put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subjected to him, then shall the Son himself be subject to him who put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

2 Corinthians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

2 Corinthians 1:22

22 Who has also sealed us, and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

2 Corinthians 4:4

4 For the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest they should see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Corinthians 4:6

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the transcendent power may be shown to be from God, and not from us.

2 Corinthians 4:15

15 For all things are for your sakes, that as grace extends to more and more people, it might cause thanksgiving to abound, to the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 5:5

5 Now he who has made us for this very thing is God, who has also given to us the Spirit as a pledge.

2 Corinthians 5:17

17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.

2 Corinthians 5:21

21 For our sakes he has made him to be sin, who knew no sin; that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 6:7

7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left,

2 Corinthians 6:18

18 And will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 8:9

9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that through his poverty you might become rich.

2 Corinthians 11:31

31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, who is blessed forevermore, knows that I do not lie.

2 Corinthians 12:1

1 Though it is not profitable for me to boast, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.

Galatians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle, (not sent from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

Galatians 1:3

3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

Galatians 1:12

12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came by revelation from Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1:16

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood:

Galatians 3:9

9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith.

Galatians 3:14

14 He redeemed us so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:18

18 For if the inheritance is based on the law, then it is no longer based on a promise: but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

Galatians 3:26

26 For you are all sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 4:4

4 But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 To redeem those who were under the law, that we might be adopted as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Galatians 4:6

6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Galatians 5:5

5 For we through the Spirit, by faith, wait for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; but faith which works through love.

Galatians 5:13

13 For, brethren, you have been called to liberty; only do not use your liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but in love serve one another.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Ephesians 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places:

Ephesians 1:5

5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to his good pleasure and will, 6 To the praise of his glorious grace, which he freely bestowed upon us in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:6-7

6 To the praise of his glorious grace, which he freely bestowed upon us in the beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:7-7

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:7

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Which he has lavished upon us in all wisdom and prudence;

Ephesians 1:8

8 Which he has lavished upon us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he set forth in him: 10 That in the fulness of time he might gather all things together under Christ, both things which are in heaven, and things which are on earth.

Ephesians 1:14-14

14 Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession, to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:17

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Ephesians 1:17-18

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 1:18-18

18 That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 1:20

20 Which he exerted in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 1:22

22 And he has put all things under his feet, and has appointed him to be the head over all things for the church,

Ephesians 2:4

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in transgressions, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;) 6 And has raised us up with him, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:6-6

6 And has raised us up with him, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might show the incomparable riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:10

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand for us to do. 11 Therefore remember, that in times past you Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by those who are called the Circumcision, (that which is performed in the flesh by hands;) 12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Ephesians 2:12

12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Ephesians 2:15

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, the law of commandments and ordinances; to create in himself one new man in place of two, thus making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both to God, in one body, through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

Ephesians 3:3-9

3 That by revelation he made known to me the mystery; as I wrote before briefly. 4 When you read this, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:5

5 Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel: 7 Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the working of his power.

Ephesians 3:7

7 Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the working of his power. 8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:8-9

8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And make all men see what is the plan of the mystery, which from past ages has been hidden in God, who created all things: 10 That now, to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, the manifold wisdom of God might be known through the church,

Ephesians 3:10-11

10 That now, to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, the manifold wisdom of God might be known through the church, 11 According to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Ephesians 3:11

11 According to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Ephesians 3:15

15 From whom every family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend, with all the saints, its breadth, and length, and height, and depth; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:19

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 4:1

1 Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love;

Ephesians 4:4

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope in your calling;

Ephesians 4:8-10

8 Therefore it says, When he ascended on high, he led a host of captives, and gave gifts to men. 9 (In saying that he ascended, what does that mean but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is the same one who ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Ephesians 4:10

10 He who descended is the same one who ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Ephesians 4:12

12 For the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ:

Ephesians 4:15-16

15 But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all things into him, who is the head, that is, Christ: 16 From whom the whole body, fitted and joined together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of every part, causes the body to grow, for the building up of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:21

21 If indeed you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus,

Ephesians 4:30

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you have been sealed for the day of redemption.

Ephesians 5:2

2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice, a sweet smelling aroma to God.

Ephesians 5:8

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord: walk as children of light;

Ephesians 5:23

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, his body: and he himself is its saviour.

Ephesians 5:23-32

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, his body: and he himself is its saviour. 24 Therefore, as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for her; 26 That he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water through the word, 27 That he might present her to himself a glorious church, without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Ephesians 5:27-32

27 That he might present her to himself a glorious church, without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but he nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church: 30 Because we are members of his body. 31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Ephesians 6:10

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

Ephesians 6:12

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:21

21 Now, that you may also know my affairs, and how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make all these things known to you.

Philippians 1:3-4

3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always, in every prayer of mine for you all, I make my requests with joy,

Philippians 1:11

11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are from Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 2:9-10

9 Therefore, God has highly exalted him, and given him the name which is above every name:

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Therefore, God has highly exalted him, and given him the name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth;

Philippians 2:10-11

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth; 11 And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:11-11

11 And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:13

13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.

Philippians 2:15

15 That you may be blameless and innocent, the children of God, without blemish, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 3:9

9 And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, based on the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death;

Philippians 3:14

14 I press on toward the goal for the prize, to which God has called me upward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

19 And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1:2

2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father. 3 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Colossians 1:3

3 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have for all the saints,

Colossians 1:4-4

4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have for all the saints, 5 Because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel;

Colossians 1:5

5 Because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel; 6 Which has come to you. In all the world it brings forth fruit and grows, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and understood the grace of God in truth:

Colossians 1:8

8 Who has also declared to us your love in the Spirit. 9 For this reason, since the day we heard it, we do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Colossians 1:9-10

9 For this reason, since the day we heard it, we do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That you might walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please him in all things, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Colossians 1:12

12 Giving thanks to the Father, who has made us qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation: 16 For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities: all things were created by him, and for him:

Colossians 1:16-16

16 For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities: all things were created by him, and for him:

Colossians 1:18

18 He is also the head of the body, the church: he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence.

Colossians 1:18-19

18 He is also the head of the body, the church: he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father, that all his fulness should dwell in him; 20 And through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether things on earth, or things in heaven; having made peace through the blood of his cross. 21 And you who were at one time alienated and enemies in your minds because of wicked deeds, 22 He has now reconciled in his body of flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable in his sight:

Colossians 1:22-23

22 He has now reconciled in his body of flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable in his sight: 23 If you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven; and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

Colossians 1:23

23 If you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven; and of which I, Paul, was made a minister. 24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for his body's sake, which is the church:

Colossians 1:26-28

26 That is, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but has now been made manifest to his saints; 27 To whom God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the riches of the glory of this mystery; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27-28

27 To whom God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the riches of the glory of this mystery; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 Him we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 For this I labour, striving according to his power, which works mightily within me.

Colossians 2:2

2 That their hearts might be comforted as they are knit together in love, and that they might gain all the riches of the full assurance that comes from understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, of Christ;

Colossians 2:2-3

2 That their hearts might be comforted as they are knit together in love, and that they might gain all the riches of the full assurance that comes from understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, of Christ; 3 In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:3-3

3 In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:9-10

9 For in him all the fulness of Deity dwells in bodily form. 10 And you are complete in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.

Colossians 2:10-10

10 And you are complete in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.

Colossians 2:12

12 Having been buried with him in baptism, you have also risen with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made alive together with him, having forgiven us all transgressions;

Colossians 2:15

15 And having disarmed rulers and authorities, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Colossians 2:19

19 And not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, supported and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

Colossians 3:1

1 If you have been raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:11

11 Here there is neither Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian or Scythian, slave or free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Therefore, as the chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;

Colossians 3:15

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to this; and be thankful.

Colossians 3:24

24 Knowing that from the Lord you shall receive your reward, the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:2

2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3 Always remembering your work of faith, and labour of love, and endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of our God and Father;

1 Thessalonians 1:5

5 For our gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with full conviction. You know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

1 Thessalonians 2:12

12 That you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory. 13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which performs its work in you who believe.

1 Thessalonians 3:12

12 And may the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

1 Thessalonians 4:7

7 For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness.

1 Thessalonians 4:9

9 But regarding brotherly love you do not need any one to write to you: for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.

1 Thessalonians 5:8

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

17 Pray without ceasing.

2 Thessalonians 1:3

3 We ought always to thank God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith grows abundantly, and the love of every one of you for each other grows greater;

2 Thessalonians 1:8-10

8 Taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 They shall be punished with eternal ruin and exclusion from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all those who believe, including you, because our testimony among you was believed. 11 With this in mind we pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and would with power fulfill every good purpose and work of faith:

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth:

2 Thessalonians 2:13

13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth: 14 To this he called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:16

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us, and has given us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

1 Timothy 1:5

5 Now the aim of this commandment is love from a pure heart, and a good conscience, and a sincere faith:

1 Timothy 1:14-16

14 And the grace of our Lord overflowed for me, along with the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 1:14

14 And the grace of our Lord overflowed for me, along with the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 15 This is a trustworthy saying, and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am the foremost. 16 Yet for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might show forth his unlimited patience, as a pattern for those who would believe in him for eternal life.

1 Timothy 2:6

6 Who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time.

1 Timothy 3:15

15 But if I tarry long, I write so you will know how you ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. 16 And beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight of faith; lay hold on eternal life, to which you are called, to which you made the good confession before many witnesses.

2 Timothy 1:9

9 Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not by virtue of our works, but because of his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

2 Timothy 1:12

12 And for this reason I also suffer these things: nevertheless, I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him until that day.

2 Timothy 2:10

10 Therefore, I endure all things for the sake of the chosen, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with its eternal glory.

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:19

19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, The Lord knows those who are his. And, Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:25

25 In gentleness correcting those who oppose him; that God might grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth;

2 Timothy 3:15

15 And how from childhood you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Titus 1:1-2

1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to further the faith of God's chosen and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

Titus 1:1

1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to further the faith of God's chosen and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness, 2 Which rests in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the beginning of time;

Titus 1:4

4 To Titus, my own child in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour.

Titus 2:11-12

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

Titus 2:11

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires, and live sensibly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for the blessed hope, the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself up for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people of his own, zealous for good works.

Titus 3:6

6 Whom he poured out upon us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs, having the hope of eternal life.

Philemon 1:5

5 Because I hear of your love and faith, which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints;

Hebrews 1:2

2 Has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. 3 He is the brightness of his glory, and the exact representation of his nature, upholding all things by the word of his power. When he had purged our sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Having become as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Hebrews 2:3

3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? It was at first announced by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him;

Hebrews 2:5

5 For he did not put in subjection to the angels the world to come, of which we speak.

Hebrews 2:8

8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in putting all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made for a little while lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honour because he suffered death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man. 10 For it was fitting that he, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one family: for which reason he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 Saying, I will declare your name to my brethren, in the midst of the congregation I will sing praises to you. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold, here am I, and the children whom God has given me. 14 Since then, as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he himself also partook of the same; that through death he might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver those who through fear of death were all their lives subject to bondage.

Hebrews 4:14

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

Hebrews 6:4

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

Hebrews 6:10

10 For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget the work and love which you have shown for his name's sake in having ministered to the saints, as you continue to do.

Hebrews 6:17

17 Therefore God, wanting to show more clearly to the heirs of the promise the immutable nature of his purpose, confirmed it by an oath:

Hebrews 8:5

5 They serve at a copy and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary. This is why, when Moses was about to make the tabernacle, he was warned by God, saying, See that you make all things according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain.

Hebrews 9:10

10 For they are only a matter of food and drink, and various washings, and regulations for the body, imposed until the time of reformation.

Hebrews 9:12-15

12 Nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who are unclean, sanctifies them so their flesh is clean: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your consciences from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions committed under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 9:22

22 Indeed, under the law almost all things are cleansed with blood; and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. 23 It was, therefore, necessary that the copies of the heavenly things should be purified with these sacrifices; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Hebrews 10:4-12

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Therefore, when he came into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me; 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure. 7 Then I said, Lo, I come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God. 8 After he said above, Sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and offerings for sin you did not desire, neither did you have pleasure in them, which are offered according to the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering, time and again, the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10:12

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10:17-18

17 Then he adds, Their sins and iniquities I will remember no more. 18 Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Hebrews 10:32

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle in the face of afflictions;

Hebrews 11:40

40 Because God had provided something better for us, that without us they should not be made perfect.

Hebrews 12:5-9

5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as sons, My son, do not think lightly of the discipline of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by him: 6 For whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and scourges every son whom he receives. 7 You must endure for discipline. God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 But if you are left without discipline, of which all are partakers, then are you are illegitimate children, and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had earthly fathers who corrected us, and we gave them respect: shall we not much more be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

Hebrews 12:22-24

22 But you have come to mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the first-born, whose names are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 13:20

20 Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the eternal covenant,

James 1:18

18 By his own will he brought us forth with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.

James 2:1

1 My brethren, do not hold your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality.

James 2:5

5 Listen, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him?

James 3:17-18

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

1 Peter 1:2

2 Chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, and sanctified by the Spirit for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace be multiplied to you. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who by his abundant mercy has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an imperishable and undefiled inheritance, that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

1 Peter 1:18-19

18 For you know that you were not redeemed with perishable things, such as silver and gold, from the vain way of life you inherited from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who was chosen before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for you, 21 Who through him believe in God, who raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Since you have purified your souls by obeying the truth, so you have a sincere love of the brethren; love one another fervently from the heart.

1 Peter 2:5

5 You also, as living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 10 In times past you were not a people, but now you are the people of God: once you had not obtained mercy, but now you have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2:24

24 He himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

1 Peter 3:9

9 Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult: but instead with blessing; knowing that you were called to this, that you should inherit a blessing.

1 Peter 3:18

18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,

1 Peter 3:22

22 Who has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; with angels and authorities and powers made subject to him.

1 Peter 4:11

11 If any man speak, let it be as one who speaks the oracles of God; if any man serves, let him do it as by the strength which God supplies: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 5:10

10 But the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

2 Peter 1:3

3 Whose divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us by his own glory and virtue:

2 Peter 1:5-10

5 For this very reason, give all diligence to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge self-control; and to self-control perseverance; and to perseverance godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are in you, and are increasing, they keep you from being either ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he who lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:

2 Peter 3:14

14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent that you may be found at peace with him, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:18

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

1 John 1:7-9

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 2:2

2 And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And by this we may be sure that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He who says, I know him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 2:12

12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name's sake.

1 John 3:1

1 Behold, how great is the love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God; and so we are. The world does not know us, because it did not know him.

1 John 3:1-3

1 Behold, how great is the love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God; and so we are. The world does not know us, because it did not know him. 2 Beloved, now we are the sons of God; and what we shall be has not yet been disclosed: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

1 John 3:17

17 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

1 John 4:10

10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

1 John 4:16

16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

1 John 4:21

21 And this commandment we have from him, That he who loves God must also love his brother.

Jude 1:25

25 To the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and majesty, dominion and authority, before all time, and now, and forevermore. Amen.

Revelation 1:17

17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as if dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, Do not fear; I am the first and the last,

Revelation 2:10

10 Do not fear any of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Revelation 2:13

13 I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is: and that you hold fast to my name, and have not denied my faith, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.

Revelation 4:9-11

9 And when those living creatures give glory and honour and thanks to him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for you have created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.

Revelation 5:9-14

9 And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to break its seals: for you were slain, and by your blood have purchased men for God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Revelation 5:9

9 And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to break its seals: for you were slain, and by your blood have purchased men for God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God: and they shall reign upon the earth. 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands upon thousands; 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Revelation 5:12

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13 And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be to him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever. 14 And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped .

Revelation 7:2

2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom had been given power to hurt the earth and the sea,

Revelation 7:4-12

4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty-four thousand from all the tribes of the sons of Israel. 5 From the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 From the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Naphtali were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand. 7 From the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 From the tribe of Zebulun were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. From the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, from all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands; 10 And cried out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.

This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
