⁷ Therefore, understand that those who are of faith are the children of Abraham. ⁸ And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles through faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed. ⁹ So then, those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith.

²⁹ And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

⁶ For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; but faith which works through love.

³ For if a man thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

²⁴ And put on the new man, who, in the likeness of God, is created in true righteousness and holiness.

⁶ Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

²⁰ According to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing shall I be ashamed, but that with all boldness, now as always, Christ shall be exalted in my body, whether by life, or by death. ²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

⁴ Let each of you not only look to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

³ For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh,

⁷ But whatever things were gain to me, those I have counted as loss for Christ. ⁸ Furthermore, I count all things as loss compared to the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may win Christ, ⁹ And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, based on the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith: ¹⁰ That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death; ¹¹ If only I might attain to the resurrection of the dead.

¹⁶ Only let us hold true to that which we have already attained.

¹⁸ For many, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even with weeping, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ:

⁷ And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your care for me; indeed, you did care, but you lacked opportunity.

²⁴ Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for his body's sake, which is the church:

²³ These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom with their self-imposed worship, and self-abasement, and severity to the body; but are of no value in restraining the indulgence of the flesh.

¹ If you have been raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. ² Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. ³ For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

¹⁰ And have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of the one who created him. ¹¹ Here there is neither Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian or Scythian, slave or free: but Christ is all, and in all.

⁵ Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, making the most of the time.

¹⁴ Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are idle or unruly, encourage the timid, support the weak, be patient toward all. ¹⁵ See that no one repays another with evil for evil; but always seek that which is good, both for yourselves, and for all men.

³ Let no man deceive you in any way: for that day shall not come, until there is first a falling away, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition;

¹³ But you, brethren, do not be weary in doing good.

¹⁶ Yet for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might show forth his unlimited patience, as a pattern for those who would believe in him for eternal life.

¹⁷ Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in preaching and teaching. ¹⁸ For the scripture says, You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the grain. And, The labourer is worthy of his wages.

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in this world not to be arrogant, nor to trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who richly gives us all things to enjoy. ¹⁸ They are to do good, that they may be rich in good works, generous and willing to share;

²⁵ In gentleness correcting those who oppose him; that God might grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth;

¹³ But evil men and impostors shall grow worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

²² The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

¹⁴ Who gave himself up for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people of his own, zealous for good works.

⁷ That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs, having the hope of eternal life. ⁸ This is a faithful saying; and I want you to affirm these things constantly, that those who have believed in God might be careful to engage in good works. These things are good and profitable for men.

²⁵ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

⁶ But Christ was faithful as a son over his own house, whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and our joyful hope.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold our first confidence steadfast to the end;

¹⁰ For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget the work and love which you have shown for his name's sake in having ministered to the saints, as you continue to do.

³⁵ Therefore, do not cast away your confidence, which has a great reward. ³⁶ For you have need of endurance, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. ³⁷ For yet a little while longer, and he who shall come will come, and will not tarry. ³⁸ But my righteous one shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. ³⁹ But we are not of those who draw back to destruction; but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

³ For consider him who endured such hostility from sinners against himself, lest you grow weary and fainthearted.

⁵ And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as sons, My son, do not think lightly of the discipline of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by him:

¹³ And make straight paths for your feet, so that which is lame may not be put out of joint; but rather be healed.

¹⁵ See to it that no man fails to obtain the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up should trouble you, and thereby defile many;

³ Remember those who are in prison, as if in prison with them; and those who suffer adversity, since you yourselves are also in the body.

¹⁶ Do not forget to do good and to share: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

²² But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

²⁶ If any man among you thinks he is religious, but does not bridle his tongue, he deceives his own heart and his religion is in vain.

⁸ If you fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, You shall love your neighbour as yourself, you do well,

² For we all stumble in many ways. If any man does not stumble in his words, he is a perfect man, and able also to bridle his whole body.

¹³ Who is wise and understanding among you? by his good life let him show forth works done with the humility of wisdom.

¹⁸ And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

⁷ Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is patient for it, until it receives the early and the late rains.

¹⁹ Brethren, if any of you strays from the truth, and someone brings him back; ²⁰ Let him know, that he who turns a sinner from the error of his ways shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

⁵ You also, as living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ For this is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a cornerstone, chosen and precious: and he who believes in him shall not be put to shame. ⁷ Therefore, to you who believe, he is precious: but to those who disbelieve, the stone which the builders rejected has become the very cornerstone, ⁸ And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; they stumble at the word, being disobedient: as they were appointed to do. ⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

¹⁵ For this is the will of God, that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men:

²⁴ He himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

¹⁵ But set apart Christ as Lord in your hearts: and always be ready to give an answer to every man who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you; but do it with gentleness and respect,

¹⁷ For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for doing right, than for doing evil.

¹⁹ Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to a faithful Creator by doing right.

¹² But these, like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of things they do not understand; and shall utterly perish with them in the same destruction;

¹⁹ While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the slaves of depravity: for by that which a man is overcome, to that he is enslaved.

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

⁸ Yet, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you: because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines. ⁹ He who says he is in the light, yet hates his brother, is in darkness even until now. ¹⁰ He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. ¹¹ But he who hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and does not know where he goes, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

¹⁵ Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passes away, along with its lusts: but he who does the will of God abides forever.

⁷ Little children, let no man deceive you: he who does right is righteous, just as he is righteous.

¹³ Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. ¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death. ¹⁵ Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. ¹⁷ But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ My little children, let us not love in word or in speech; but in deed and in truth. ¹⁹ And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him,

¹ Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one who loves the parent also loves the child.

⁴ For everyone who is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. ⁵ Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

¹⁶ If any man sees his brother commit a sin which does not lead to death, he shall ask, and God shall grant him life, for those whose sin is not to death. There is a sin to death: I do not say that he should pray for that.

⁵ Beloved, you act faithfully whenever you perform any service for the brethren, especially when they are strangers. ⁶ For they have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you shall do well: ⁷ Because for his name's sake they went forth, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. ⁸ Therefore we ought to support such men, that we might be fellow workers in the truth.

¹¹ Beloved, do not follow that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God: but he who does evil has not seen God.

¹⁸ They told you there would be mockers in the last time, who would walk after their own ungodly lusts.

²¹ Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. ²² And have compassion on some, who are doubting: ²³ Save others, pulling them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.

³ And how you have persevered, and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary.

⁷ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him who overcomes I will give the right to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

¹⁰ Do not fear any of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life. ¹¹ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.

¹⁷ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows except him who receives it.

²³ And I will strike her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searches minds and hearts: and I will give to every one of you as your deeds deserve.

²⁶ And he who overcomes, and does my will to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; ²⁷ And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as when the vessels of a potter are broken to pieces: just as I received authority from my Father. ²⁸ And I will give him the morning star. ²⁹ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

⁵ He who overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white garments; and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. ⁶ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

¹² He who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall never go out of it: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will also write upon him my new name. ¹³ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

²¹ To him who overcomes I will grant the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. ²² He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. ¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them: and they were judged, every man according to his deeds. ¹⁴ And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

⁵ And he who sits upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write: for these words are faithful and true.

¹¹ He who is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he who is holy, let him be holy still. ¹² Behold, I am coming quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according to what he has done.

²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all. Amen.
