19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and broke, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up what remained of the fragments, twelve baskets full.
21 And those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

31 And he said to them, Come by yourselves to a lonely place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.
32 And they departed privately by boat to a lonely place by themselves.
33 And the people saw them departing, and many recognized them, and ran there on foot from all the cities, and got there before them.
34 And Jesus, when he came ashore, saw many people, and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
35 And when the day was almost gone, his disciples came to him, and said, This is a lonely place, and it is very late:
36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy bread for themselves: for they have nothing to eat.
37 He answered and said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said to him, Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii of bread, and give it to them to eat?
38 He said to them, How many loaves have you? go and see. And when they found out, they said, Five, and two fish.
39 And he commanded them to make all the people sit down in groups upon the green grass.
40 And they sat down in groups, by hundreds, and by fifties.
41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fish he divided among them all.
42 And they all ate, and were filled.
43 And they picked up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fish.
44 And there were about five thousand men who ate of the loaves.
