1 It is not expedyent for me (no doubte) to reioyce. Neuerthelesse I wyll come to visions and reuelations of the Lorde.
2 I knowe a man in Christe aboue .xiiij. yeares agone (whether he were in the bodye I cannot tell, or whether he were oute of the bodye I cannot tell, God knoweth) whiche was taken vp into the third heauen.
3 And I knowe the same man (whether in the bodye, or oute of the bodye, I cannot tell, God knoweth)
4 howe that he was taken vp into paradyse, and hearde wordes not to be spoken, whiche no man can vtter.
5 Of thys man wyll I reioyce, of my selfe wyll I not reioyce, excepte it be of myne infyrmytyes.
6 And yet thoughe I woulde reioyce, I shoulde not be a fole: for I shoulde saye the trueth: Neuerthelesse I spare, lest anye man shoulde thynke of me aboue that he seeth me to be, or heareth of me.
7 And lest I shoulde be exalted out of measure thorowe the aboundaunce of reuelacions there was geuen vnto me vnquyetnes of the fleshe, the messenger of Satan to buffete me: because I shoulde no be exalted oute of measure.
8 For thys thynge besought I the Lorde thryse, that it myght departe from me.
9 And he sayde vnto me: my grace is suffycyent for the. For my strengthe is made perfecte thorowe weakenes. Very gladly therfor wil I reioyce of my weakenes, that the strength of Christe maye dwell in me
10 Therfore haue I delectacyon in infyrmities, in rebukes, in nede, in persecutions, in anguyshe, for Christes sake. For when I am weake, then am I stronge.
11 I am made a fole in bostynge my selfe. Ye haue compelled me: I ought to haue bene commended of you. For in nothynge was I inferyor vnto the chiefe Apostles. Thoughe I be nothynge
12 yet the tokens of an Apostle were wroughte amonge you with al pacience: with signes, and wonders and myghty dedes.
13 For what is it wherein ye were inferyours vnto other congregacyons except it be therein that I was not greuous vnto you. Forgeue me thys wrong done vnto you.
14 Behold the now thyrde time I am redy to come vnto you, and yet wyll I not be greuouse vnto you. For I seke not yours, but you. Also the chyldren ought not to lay vp for the fathers & mothers but the fathers a mothers for the chyldren.
15 I wyll very gladly bestowe, and wyll be bestowed for youre soules: thoughe the more I loue you, the lesse I am loued agayne.
16 But be it that I greued you not: neuerthelesse I was crafty and toke you with gyle.
17 Dyd I pyl you by any of them which I sent vnto you?
18 I desyred Titus, and with hym I sent a brother. Did Tytus defraude you of any thing? walked we not in one spyryte? walked we not in lyke steppes?
19 Agayne, thynke ye that we excuse oure selues. We speake in Christe in the syght of God. But we do all thynges dearelye beloued for youre edifiynge.
20 For I feare least it come to passe, that when I come, I shall not fynde you suche as I woulde, and I shalbe founde amonge you debate, enuiynge, wrath, stryfe, backbytynges, whisperynges, swellynges & discorde.
21 I feare leste when I come agayne, God brynge me lowe amonge you, and I be constrayned to bewayle many of them which haue synned already, and haue not repented of the vncleanes, fornicacyon, and wantonnes, whiche they haue commytted.

Ezekiel 1:1-28
1 It chaunsed in the .xxx. yeare the fifth daye of the .iiij. Moneth, that I was amonge the presoners by the ryuer of Cobar: where the heauens opened, and I sawe a vysyon of God.
2 Now the fyfth daye of the moneth made out the fyfth yeare of Kyng Ioacins captiuytye.
3 At the same tyme came the worde of the Lord vnto Ezechiel the sonne of Buzi the Preste, in the lande of the Caldees by the water of Cubar, where the hande of the Lorde came vpon hym.
4 And I loked, and beholde a stormy wynde came out of the North with a greate cloude full of fyre, which with hys glystre lyghtned all rounde aboute. And in the myddest of the fyre it was all cleare,
5 and as it were the lycknesse of foure beastes, which were fashyoned lyke a man: sauyng,
6 that euery one had foure faces and foure wynges.
7 Their legges were streyght, but their fete were lyke bullackes fete, and they glystered, as it had bene fayre scoured metall.
8 Vnder their wynges vpon all the foure corners they had mens handes. Their faces and their wynges were towarde the foure corners:
9 yet were the wynges so, that one euer touched another. When they wente, they turned them not aboute: but echone went streyght forwarde.
10 Vpon the ryght syde of these foure, their faces were lyke the face of a man, and the face of a Lyon: But vpon the left syde, they had the face of an oxe, and the face of an Aegle.
11 Their faces also and their wynges were spred out aboue: so that two winges of one touched euer two wynges of of another, and wyth the other they couered their body.
12 Euery one when it wente, it wente streyght forwarde. Where as the sprete ledd them, thether they went, and turned not aboute in their goynge.
13 The fashyon and countenaunce of the beastes was lyke hoate coales of fyre, euen as though burnynge cressettes had bene amonge the beastes: and the fyre gaue a glystre, and out of the fyre there wente lyghtenynge.
14 When the beastes wente forwarde and backwarde, one wolde haue thought it had lyghtened.
15 Now when I had well considered the beastes, I sawe a worcke of wheles vpon the earth with foure faces also lyke the beastes.
16 The fashyon and worcke of the wheles was lyke the sea. The foure wheles were ioyned and made (to loke vpon) as it had bene one whele in another.
17 When one wente forwarde, they wente all foure, and turned them not about in their goinge.
18 They were large, greate and horryble to loke vpon. Their bodyes were full of eyes round about them all foure. When the beastes wente the wheles wente also with them:
19 And when the beastes lyft them selues vp from the earth, the wheles were lyft vp also.
20 Whether soeuer the sprete wente, thether wente they also, and the wheles were lyft vp, and folowed them: for the sprete of lyfe was in the wheles.
21 When the beastes went forth, stode styll, or lyft them selues vp from the earth: then the wheles also wente, stode styll, and were lyft vp, for the breth of lyfe was in the wheles.
22 Aboue ouer the heades of the beastes there was a fyrmament, whyche was fashyoned as it had bene of the most pure Chrystal, and that was spred out aboue vpon their heades:
23 vnder the same fyrmament were their wynges layed abrode, one toward another, and two winges couered the body of euery beast.
24 And when they wente forth, I hearde the noyse of their wynges, lyke the noyse of greate waters, as it had bene the voyce of the greate God, and a russhynge together as it were of an hoost of men. And when they stode styll, they let downe their wynges.
25 Now when they stode styll, and had letten downe their wynges, it thondred in the fyrmament that was aboue their heades.
26 Aboue the firmament that was ouer their heades, there was the fashyon of a seate, as it had bene made of Saphir. Vpon the seate there sat one lyke a man.
27 I behelde hym, & he was lyke a cleare lyght, as it had bene all of fyre with in from hys loynes vpwarde. And beneth when I loked vpon him vnder the loynes, me thought he was lyke a shynyng fyre, that geueth lyght on euery syde. Yee the shyne & glystre that lyghtened rounde aboute,
28 was lyke a raynbowe, which in a raynye daye appeareth in the cloudes. Euen so was the symylitude, wherin the glory of the Lorde appeared. When I sawe it, I fel vpon my face, and herkened vnto the voyce of him that spake.

1 It happened, that in the syxte yeare the fyfth daye of the syxte moneth I sat in my house, & the Lordes of the councell of Iuda with me: and the hande of the lord God fell euen there vpon me.
2 And as I loked vp, I saw, as it were a lykenesse of fyre from hys loynes douneward, and from hys loines vpwarde it shyned maruelous cleare.
3 This similytude stretched oute an hande, and toke me by the hearry lockes of my head, and the spryte lyfte me vp betwyxte heauen & earthe: and God brought me in a vision to Ierusalem, into the entrye of the inner porte that lyeth towarde the Northe: there stode an ymage, with whome he that hath all thynges in hys power, was very wroth.

7 So that nowe contrarywyse ye ought to forgeue hym, and comforte hym: leaste that same persone shoulde be swalowed vp, with ouer muche heauynes.
8 Wherfore I exhorte you, that loue maye haue strengthe ouer hym.
9 For this cause verely dyd I wryte, that I might know the profe of you, whether ye shoulde be obedyent in all thynges.
10 To whom ye forgeue any thynge, I forgeue also. And verelye yf I forgeue anye thynge, to whome I forgaue it, for your sakes forgaue I it in the roume of Christe,
11 leaste Sathan shoulde preuente vs. For thys thoughtes are not vnknowen vnto vs.
12 When I was come to Troada for Christes gospels sake (and a greate dore was opened vnto me of the Lorde)
13 I had no rest in my spyryte, because I founde not Titus my brother: but toke my leaue of them, and wente awaye vnto Macedonia.
2 Corinthians 3:1
1 We begynne to prayse oure selues agayne. Nede we as some other, of Epistles, of recommendacion vnto you? or letters of recommendacyon from you?
2 Corinthians 3:5-6
2 Corinthians 4:2
2 but haue caste from vs the clokes of vnhonestye, and walke not in craftynes, neyther corrupte we the word of God: but walke in open trueth, & reporte our selues to euerye mans conscience in the syght of God.
2 Corinthians 4:5
5 For we preache not oure selues, but Christ Iesus to be the Lorde, and oure selues youre seuauntes for Iesus sake.
2 Corinthians 4:8-11
8 We are troubled on euerye syde, yet are we not withoute shyfte. We are in pouerte, but not vtterlye withoute some what.
9 We are persecuted, but are not forsaken. We are caste doune, neuerthelesse we peryshe not.
10 And we alwayes beare in oure bodyes the dyinge of the Lorde Iesus, that the lyfe of Iesus myght appeare in oure bodyes.
11 For we whiche lyue are alwayes delyuered vnto deathe for Iesus sake, that the lyfe also of Iesu myghte appeare in oure mortall fleshe.
2 Corinthians 4:17
17 For oure excedynge trybulation whiche is momentanye and lyghte, prepareth an excedynge and eternall wayghte of glory vnto vs,
2 Corinthians 5:6-8
2 Corinthians 5:12-13
2 Corinthians 5:13-13
13 For yf we be to feruente, to God we are to feruente. Yf we kepe measure, for youre cause kepe we measure.
2 Corinthians 5:15
15 and that he dyed for all, that they which lyue, shoulde not hence forth lyue vnto them selues, but vnto hym, whiche dyed for them, and rose agayne.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therfore yf anye man be in Christe, he is a newe creature. Olde thynges are passed awaye, beholde all thynges are become newe.
2 Corinthians 5:21
21 for he hath made hym to be synne for vs, whiche knewe no synne, that we by hys meanes should be that ryghtuousnes whiche before God is allowed.
2 Corinthians 6:4
4 but in al thynges let vs behaue our selues as the ministers of God. In muche pacience, in afflictions, in necessitie, in anguishe,
2 Corinthians 6:4-10
4 but in al thynges let vs behaue our selues as the ministers of God. In muche pacience, in afflictions, in necessitie, in anguishe,
5 in strypes, in prysonnement in stryfe, in laboure, in watchynge, in fasting
6 in purenes, in knoweledge, in longe suffering in kyndnes, in the holye ghoste, in loue vnfayned,
7 in the wordes of trueth, in the power of God, in the armour of ryghtuousnes on the ryght hande, and on the lyfte,
8 in honoure and dishonour, in euyll reporte, & good reporte: as disceyuers & yet true:
9 as vnknowen, & yet knowen: as dying, & beholde we yet liue: as chastened and not kylled:
10 as sorowyng, & yet alway mery: as poore, and yet make many ryche: as hauynge nothynge, and yet possessynge all thynges.
2 Corinthians 6:12-13
2 Corinthians 7:1
1 Seynge that we haue such promyses dearely beloued, let vs cleanse oure selues from al fylthynesse of the fleshe & spyrite, and grow vp to full holynesse in the feare of God.
2 Vnderstande vs. We haue hurte no man: we haue corrupt no man: we haue defrauded no man.
3 I speake not thys to condempne you: for I haue shewed you before, that ye are in oure hertes to dye, and lyue wyth you.
4 I am very bolde ouer you, and reioyce gentelye in you. I am fylled with comforte, and am excedynge ioyouse in all oure trybulatyons.
2 Corinthians 7:6
6 Neuerthelesse GOD that comforteth the abiect, comforteth vs at the comming of Tytus.
2 Corinthians 7:9-11
9 But I nowe reioyce, not that ye were sory, but that ye so sorowed, that ye repented. For ye sorowed Godlye, so that in nothyng ye were hurt by vs.
10 For Godly sorowe causeth repentaunce vnto saluacyon, not to be repented of: when worldlye sorowe causeth death.
11 Beholde, what diligence thys Godlye sorowe that ye toke, hath wroughte in you: yea it caused you to cleare your selues. It caused indignacyon, it caused feare, it caused desyre, it caused a feruent mynde, it caused punyshement. For in all thynges ye haue shewed your selues that ye are cleare in that matter.
2 Corinthians 8:6
6 so that we coulde not but desyre Titus to accomplyshe the same beneuolence amonge you also, euen as he had begonne.
2 Corinthians 8:10
10 And I geue counsell hereto. For thys is expediente for you, whiche beganne, not to do onelye, but also to wyll, a yeare a go.
2 Corinthians 8:16-23
16 Thankes be vnto God, which put in the hert of Titus the same good mynde towarde you.
17 For he accepted the requeste, yea rather he was so well willyng that of hys owne accorde he came vnto you.
18 We haue sente with him that brother whose lande is the Gospell thorowe out all the congregacyons,
19 and not so onely, but is also chosen of the congregacyons to be a felowe with vs in oure iorneye concernynge thys beneuolence that is ministred by vs vnto the prayse of the Lorde, and to stere vp youre prompte mynde.
20 For this we eschue, that anye man shoulde rebuke vs in thys plentuous distribucyon, that is ministred by vs,
21 and therfore make prouision for honest thynges, not in the syghte of God onelye, but also in the syght of men.
22 We haue sent with them a brother of ours whome we haue oftentimes proued diligente in many thinges, but now much more diligent.
23 The greate confydence whiche I haue in you hath caused me thus to do, partely for Tytus sake, whiche is my felowe and helper as concernynge you, partely because of other which are oure brethren, and the messengers of the congregacyons, and the glorye of Christe.
24 Wherfore shewe vnto them the profe of your loue, and of the reioysynge that we haue of you, that the congregacyons maye se it.
2 Corinthians 9:3-4
3 Neuerthelesse yet haue I sent these brethren, lest oure reioysynge ouer you shoulde be in vayne in thys behalfe, and that ye (as I haue sayed) prepare your selues,
4 lest parauenture yf they of Macedonia come with me, and fynde you vnprepared, the bost that I made in thys matter, shoulde be a shame to vs. I saye not vnto you.
5 Wherfore I thought it necessarye to exhorte the brethren, to come before hande vnto you, for to prepare your good blessyng promysed afore, that it myght be redye, so that it be a blessynge, and not a defraudynge.
2 Corinthians 10:2-3
2 I beseche you, that I nede not to be bolde, when I am present (with that same confydence, wherewith I am supposed to be bolde) agaynste some whiche repute vs as though we walked carnally.
2 Corinthians 10:2
2 Corinthians 10:5
2 Corinthians 10:8-10
8 and thoughe I shoulde boste my selfe some what more of oure authoritie which the Lord hath geuen vs to edifye, and not to destroye you, it shoulde not be to my shame.
2 Corinthians 10:8
8 and thoughe I shoulde boste my selfe some what more of oure authoritie which the Lord hath geuen vs to edifye, and not to destroye you, it shoulde not be to my shame.

2 Corinthians 10:18
18 For he that prayseth hym self, is not allowed: but he whom the Lorde prayseth.
2 Corinthians 11:1
1 Wolde to God ye coulde suffre me a lytell in my folyshenes: yea, and I praye you, forbeare me.
2 Corinthians 11:4
4 For yf he that commeth, preache another Iesus then hym whom we preached: or yf ye receyue another spiryte then that whiche ye haue receyued: other another Gospell then that ye haue receyued, ye myght ryghte well haue bene content.
5 I impose that I was not behynde the chief Apostles.
6 Though I be rude in speakynge, yet I am not so in knoweledge. Howe be it amonge you: we are knowen to the vttermoste what we are in all thynges.
7 Dyd I therein synne, because I submytted my selfe, that ye myght be exalted, and because I preached to you the Gospell of God fre?
8 I robbed other congregacyons, and toke wages of them, to do you seruyce with al.
9 And when I was present with you, and had nede, I was greuous to no man, for that whiche was lackynge vnto me, the brethren whiche came from Macedonia, supplyed: and in all thynge I kept my selfe that I shoulde not be greuous to you, & so wyl I kepe my selfe.
2 Corinthians 11:9-10
9 And when I was present with you, and had nede, I was greuous to no man, for that whiche was lackynge vnto me, the brethren whiche came from Macedonia, supplyed: and in all thynge I kept my selfe that I shoulde not be greuous to you, & so wyl I kepe my selfe.
10 Yf the trueth of Christe be in me, thys reioysynge shall not be taken from me in the regyons of Achaia.
2 Corinthians 11:10
2 Corinthians 11:16-30
16 I saye agayne, lest anye man thynke that I am folyshe, or els euen nowe take me as a fole, that I maye boaste my selfe a lyttell.
2 Corinthians 11:16
16 I saye agayne, lest anye man thynke that I am folyshe, or els euen nowe take me as a fole, that I maye boaste my selfe a lyttell.
2 Corinthians 11:16-17
2 Corinthians 11:17-17
17 That I speake, I speake it not after the wayes of the Lorde, but as it were folishly, while we are nowe come to bostynge.
18 Seyng that manye reioyce after the fleshe, I will reioyse also.
19 For ye suffer foles gladly, because that ye youre selues are wyse.
20 For ye suffre euen yf a man brynge you into bondage: yf a man deuoure, yf a man take yf a man exalte hym selfe, yf a man smite you on the face.
2 Corinthians 11:20
20 For ye suffre euen yf a man brynge you into bondage: yf a man deuoure, yf a man take yf a man exalte hym selfe, yf a man smite you on the face.
21 I speake as concernynge rebuke, as thoughe we had bene weake. Howe be it, wherein soeuer any man dare be bolde (I speake folyshly) I dare be bolde also.
22 They are Hebrues, so am I: They are Israelytes, euen so am I. They are the seede of Abraham, euen so am I.
23 They are the ministers of CHRISTE (I speake as a fole) I am more: In labours more aboundaunte: In strypes aboue measure: In pryson more plentuouslye: In death ofte.
24 Of the Iewes .v. tymes receyued I euerye tyme .xl. strypes saue one.
25 Thryse was I beaten with roddes. I was once stoned. I suffered thryse shipwracke. Nyght and daye haue I bene in the depe of the sea.
26 In iorneyeyng often: in parils of waters: in parylles of robbers: in ieoperdyes amonge the heathen. I haue bene in peryls in cytyes, in peryls in wyldernes, in peryls in the sea, in peryls among false brethren,
27 in laboure and trauayle, in watchyng often, in hunger, in thyrste, in fastynges often, in colde, and in nakednes.
28 And besyde the thynges whiche outwardelye happen vnto me, I am combered dayelye, and do care for all congregations.
29 Who is weake, and I am not weake? Who is hurte in the faythe, and my herte burneth not?
30 Yf I muste nedes reioyce, I wyll reioyce of myne infirmities.
2 Corinthians 11:30
2 Corinthians 12:3-5
3 And I knowe the same man (whether in the bodye, or oute of the bodye, I cannot tell, God knoweth)
4 howe that he was taken vp into paradyse, and hearde wordes not to be spoken, whiche no man can vtter.
5 Of thys man wyll I reioyce, of my selfe wyll I not reioyce, excepte it be of myne infyrmytyes.
2 Corinthians 12:5
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 And he sayde vnto me: my grace is suffycyent for the. For my strengthe is made perfecte thorowe weakenes. Very gladly therfor wil I reioyce of my weakenes, that the strength of Christe maye dwell in me
2 Corinthians 12:9
9 And he sayde vnto me: my grace is suffycyent for the. For my strengthe is made perfecte thorowe weakenes. Very gladly therfor wil I reioyce of my weakenes, that the strength of Christe maye dwell in me
10 Therfore haue I delectacyon in infyrmities, in rebukes, in nede, in persecutions, in anguyshe, for Christes sake. For when I am weake, then am I stronge.
2 Corinthians 12:10
2 Corinthians 12:18
18 I desyred Titus, and with hym I sent a brother. Did Tytus defraude you of any thing? walked we not in one spyryte? walked we not in lyke steppes?
2 Corinthians 12:21
21 I feare leste when I come agayne, God brynge me lowe amonge you, and I be constrayned to bewayle many of them which haue synned already, and haue not repented of the vncleanes, fornicacyon, and wantonnes, whiche they haue commytted.
2 Corinthians 13:1-2
1 Nowe come I the thyrde time vnto you. In the mouthe of two or three wytnesses shall euery thing stande.
2 I tolde you before, & tell you before, and as I sayd when I was presente with you the seconde tyme, so wayte I now beynge absent to them which in tyme paste haue synned, and to all other, that yf I come agayne, I wyll not spare,
2 Corinthians 13:2
2 I tolde you before, & tell you before, and as I sayd when I was presente with you the seconde tyme, so wayte I now beynge absent to them which in tyme paste haue synned, and to all other, that yf I come agayne, I wyll not spare,
2 Corinthians 13:4
4 And verely thoughe it came of weakenes that he was crucyfyed, yet liueth he thorowe the power of GOD. And we no doubte are weake in hym: but we shall lyue with hym by the myght of God among you.
5 Proue youre selues whether you be in the fayth or not. Examen your owne selues: know ye not your owne selues, howe that Iesha Christe is in you, except ye be casteawayes?
2 Corinthians 13:9
9 we are glad when we are weake, & ye strong. Thys also we wyshe for, euen that ye were perfecte.

2 Corinthians 13:10-10

Galatians 2:6-14
6 Of them whiche seme to be great (what they were in time passed, it maketh no matter to me: God loketh on no mans person) neuerthelesse they which seme great, added nothing to me.
7 But contrary wyse, when they sawe that the Gospel ouer that vncircumcysyon was committed vnto me, as the gospell ouer the circumcisyon was vnto Peter:
8 for he that was mighty in Peter in the Apostleshyppe ouer the circumcisyon the same was myghty in me amonge the Gentyls,
9 and therfore when they perceyued the grace that was geuen vnto me, then Iames, Cephas, and Iohn, whiche semed to be pyllars, gaue to me & Barnabas the ryght handes, & agreed with vs, that we should preach amonge the Heathen, and they amonge the Iewes,
10 warnyng onely, that we should remembre the pore. Whiche thyng also I was dylygently to do.
11 And when Peter was come to Antioche, I withstode hym in the face, for he was worthy to be blamed.
12 For yer that certayne came from Iames, he eate with the Gentyls. But when they were come, he withdrue and separated hym selfe, fearyng them which were of the circumcysyon.
13 And the other Iewes dissembled lykewyse, in so muche that Barnabas was brought into theyr simulacyon also.
14 But when I sawe, that they went not the ryghte waye after the truth of the Gospell, I sayde vnto Peter before all men, yf thou beynge a Iew, lyuest after the maner of the Gentyls, and not as do the Iewes: why causeste thou the Gentyls to lyue as do the Iewes?
