Colossians 1 Cross References - MLV

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, 2 to the holy and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We are giving-thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying concerning you, 4 having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which you have toward all the holy-ones, 5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard beforehand in the word of the truth of the good-news. 6 This good-news which is present for you; just-as it also is in all the world. And is bearing-fruit and growing, just-as it also does in you, from the day you heard and fully knew the grace of God in truth; 7 just-as you also learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow bondservant, who is a faithful servant of the Christ on your behalf, 8 who also indicated to us your love in the Spirit. 9 Because of this, we also do not cease praying and asking on your behalf from the day we heard it, in order that you may be filled with the full knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and intelligence, 10 for you to walk worthy of the Lord for pleasing him in everything, bearing-fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God; 11 being empowered in all power, according to the dominion of his glory, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving-thanks to the Father, who made us sufficient for the part of the inheritance of the holy-ones in the light. 13 He rescued us out of the authority of darkness and transplanted us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; 14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins, 15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because all things were created by him, the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth, the visible and invisible, whether thrones or lordships or principalities or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things and all things are standing in him. 18 And he is the head of the body, the congregation of believers; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that he might become foremost in all things. 19 Because it delighted God that all the fullness is to dwell in him; 20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether things upon the earth or things upon the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him. 21 And you were previously alienated and were enemies in mind, in evil works, but yet he reconciled you\super\'b0 22 in the body of his flesh through his death, to present you holy and unblemished and irreproachable in his sight; 23 if you actually are remaining in the faith, having been founded and grounded and not being moved away from the hope of the good-news which you heard, which was preached in all creation which is under heaven; of which I, Paul, became a servant.
24 Now I am rejoicing in my sufferings on your behalf and I am filling up in my flesh, the things lacking of the afflictions of the Christ on behalf of his body, which is the congregation of believers; 25 of which I became a servant, according to the stewardship of God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, 26 the mystery that has been hidden away from the ages and away from the generations, but now it has been manifested to his holy-ones. 27 To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 The Christ whom we are proclaiming, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, in order that we should present every man complete in Christ Jesus; 29 for which I also labor, struggling according to his working, which works in power in me.

He will prepare the sin offering and the meal offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.
18 The lord Jehovah says thus: In the first month, in the first day of the month, you will take a young bullock without blemish and you will cleanse the sanctuary. 19 And the priest will take of the blood of the sin offering and put it upon the door-posts of the house and upon the four corners of the ledge of the altar and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court. 20 And so you will do on the seventh day of the month for each one who errs and for him who is simple. So will you* make atonement for the house.

24 Seventy weeks are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish transgression and to make an end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.
25 Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the anointed one, the Prince, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troublesome times.
26 And after the sixty-two weeks the anointed one will be cut off and will have nothing. And the people of the prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary and the end of it will be with a flood. And even to the end will be war; desolations are determined.

18 But all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and gave the service of reconciliation to us; 19 as that, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ not counting to them their trespasses and having placed the word of reconciliation in us. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ; as though God is encouraging you through us. We are beseeching you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For the one who knew no sin, he was made the sin offering on our behalf; in order that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Ephesians 2:13-17

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who were previously from afar have become near to him in the blood of the Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who made us both one and tore-down the middle wall of the fence, 15 having done-away-with the hostility in his flesh, which is the Law of commandments in decrees; in order that he might create in himself the two into one new man, thus making peace; 16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility in himself. 17 And when he came, he proclaimed the good-news of peace to you who were from afar and peace to those who were near;

Amen.

1 John 4:9-10

15 Indeed, all things are clean to the clean, but nothing is clean to those who have been defiled and are unbelieving, but both their mind and their conscience have been defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but they are denying him by their works, being detestable and disobedient and unapproved toward every good work.

Titus 3:3-7

3 For we were also previously foolish, disobedient, being misled, serving in various lusts and sensual-delights, leading lives in malice and envy, spiteful, hating one another. 4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love of mankind had appeared: 5 he saved us (not from any works done in righteousness, which we practiced), but according to his mercy, through the full-washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 7 in order that we might become heirs according to the hope of everlasting life, having been made righteous in that grace.

Matthew 24:13-14

13 But he who has endured to the end, this one will be saved. 14 And this good-news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited-earth, for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will be coming.

Luke 6:48

48 He is similar to a man building a house, who dug and then deepened and placed its foundation upon the rock, and when a deluge happened, the river bursts against that house and was not strong-enough to shake it; for it had been founded upon the rock.

Luke 8:13-15

13 But those upon the rock are those who, whenever they hear, accept the word with joy, and these have no root, who for a short time believe, and in time of temptation, withdraw. 14 But what fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and while they are traveling on with life, they are choked by anxieties and riches and sensual-delights of this life, and they are not bringing themselves to maturity. 15 But that seed in the good soil, these are such as in a good and beautiful heart, having heard the word, hold-onto it and are bearing-fruit with endurance.

1 Corinthians 3:5

5 Therefore, who is Paul? And who is Apollos? But servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each.

1 Corinthians 4:1-3

1 So let a man count us as attendants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 But furthermore, it is required in stewards, in order that someone should be found faithful. 3 But it is at the least concern to me, in order that I might be judged by you or by a human judgment day. But I am not even judging myself.

1 Corinthians 15:58

58 So-then my beloved brethren, become grounded, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not empty in the Lord.

1 Timothy 1:12

12 And I have gratitude to the one who empowered me, namely, the Christ, Jesus our Lord, because he deemed me faithful, placing me into his service;

2 Timothy 1:11-12

11 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12 Because of which case, I also am suffering these things too, but I am not ashamed; for I know the one whom I have believed and I have confidence that he is able to guard my deposit consigned to him for that day.

2 Timothy 4:5-6

5 But you, be sober in all things, suffer evil treatment, do the work of an evangelist, fully assure your service.

1 Peter 1:5

5 who are kept through faith in the power of God, into a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

2 Peter 2:18-22

18 For while speaking flattering-words of futility, they entice (with the lusts of the flesh to unbridled-lusts) those who really had fled away from those who conduct themselves in error. 19 They are promising them freedom, when they themselves are bondservants of corruption. For in what anyone has been succumbed, in this, he has also been enslaved. 20 For if, having fled away from the defilements of the world in the full knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and having been again entangled, they are succumbed in these things, the last state has become worse to them than the first. 21 For it was better for them to have not known fully the way of righteousness, than to turn away from the holy commandment given to them after having fully known it. 22 But it has befallen to them as the way of the true proverb, ‘ The dog having turning again toward his own vomit,’and the sow that had fully-washed, to wallowing in the mud.

1 John 2:27

27 And as for you, the anointing which you received from him abides in you and you have no need that anyone should teach you, but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is not a lie and just-as it taught you, you will be abiding in him.

Revelation 2:10

Matthew 5:11-12

11 You are fortunate whenever they reproach and persecute you and say every evil word against you–lying, because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because your reward is much in the heavens; for thus, they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Romans 5:3

3 But not only in this, but we are also boasting in our afflictions, knowing that affliction is working endurance;

2 Corinthians 1:5-8

5 Because just-as the sufferings of the Christ abound to us, so our encouragement also abounds through the Christ. 6 But whether we are afflicted, it is on behalf of your encouragement and salvation; which is working in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also are suffering; and our hope is steadfast on your behalf. If whether we are encouraged, it is on behalf of your encouragement and salvation, 7 knowing that, just-as you are partners of the sufferings, so you\'b0 are also of the comfort. 8 For brethren, we do not wish you to be ignorant in regard to our affliction which happened to us in Asia, that we were burdened down surpassingly, beyond our power, so-that we despaired even to be living.

2 Corinthians 4:8-12

8 We are being pressed in everything, but not distressed; being perplexed, but not despairing; 9 being persecuted, but not forsaken; being cast down, but not being destroyed; 10 always carrying around in the body the death of the Lord Jesus, in order that the life of Jesus should also be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are habitually given up to death because of Jesus, in order that the life of Jesus should also be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So-then indeed, death is working in us, but life in you.

2 Corinthians 7:4

4 My boldness of speech toward you is much; my boasting on your behalf is much. I have been filled with your encouragement. I over-abound with joy in all our affliction.

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

23 Are they servants of Christ? (I speak, as if having insanity) I am beyond them : in labors even-more, in lashes surpassingly, in prisons even-more, in deaths often. 24 Five-times, I received forty lashes beside one from the Jews. 25 I was lashed with rods three-times. I was stoned once. I was shipwrecked three-times. I have spent a night and a day in the depth of the sea; 26 often in journeys, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own race, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils by false brethren; 27 in labor and hardship, often in sleeplessness, in famine and thirst, often in fasts, in cold and nakedness.

Ephesians 3:1

1 Because of this, I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles,

Ephesians 3:13

13 Hence I am asking you not to be depressed at my afflictions on your behalf, which are your glory.

Philippians 2:17-18

17 But even if I am a drink-offering upon the sacrifice and ministry of your faith, I am rejoicing, and even rejoicing together with you all. 18 Now you also, rejoice and rejoice together with me in the same thing.

10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being transformed to his death;

Colossians 1:18

18 And he is the head of the body, the congregation of believers; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that he might become foremost in all things.

2 Timothy 1:8

8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor me, his prisoner, but suffer-hardship together with the good-news according to the power of God,

2 Timothy 2:9-10

9 in which I am suffering evil treatment, even as far as bonds, like a criminal, but the word of God has not been bound. 10 Because of this, I endure all things, because of the chosen, in order that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with everlasting glory.

James 1:2

2 My brethren, deem it with all joy, whenever you fall into various temptations,

Romans 15:15-19

15 But I wrote more-daringly to you brethren individually, as reminding you again, because of the grace which was given to me by God, 16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, having done the sacred work of the good-news of God, in order that the offering up of the Gentiles might become acceptable, having been made holy in the Holy Spirit.
17 Therefore, I have my boasting in Christ Jesus in the things pertaining to God. 18 For I will not dare to speak of anything of the things which Christ did not work through me, except for the obedience of the Gentiles, in word and works, 19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God. So-then, I have fulfilled the good-news of the Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle, as far as Illyricum.

1 Corinthians 9:17

17 For if I am doing this voluntarily, I have a reward, but if I do so involuntarily, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.

Galatians 2:7-8

7 But instead, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the good-news of the uncircumcision, just-as Peter that of the circumcision 8 (for he who worked in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision also worked in me to the Gentiles).

2 Timothy 4:2-5

2 Preach the word. Stand-ready opportunely and inopportunely. Reprove, rebuke and encourage in all patience and teaching. 3 For the time will be coming when they will not be tolerating the sound teaching, but having itchy ears, they will be piling up for themselves teachers according to their own lusts; 4 and will indeed turn their ears away from the truth and their ears will be turned aside to fables. 5 But you, be sober in all things, suffer evil treatment, do the work of an evangelist, fully assure your service.

Psalms 25:14

14 The friendship of Jehovah is with those who fear him and he will show them his covenant.

Matthew 13:11

Mark 4:11

11 And he said to them, You have been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, all things happen in parables;

Luke 8:10

10 But he said, It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but it is in parables to the rest; in order that seeing, they may not see; and hearing, they may not understand.

Romans 16:25-26

25 (14:24) Now to the one who is able to establish you\'b0 according to my good-news and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept-silent in times everlasting, \ulnone\nosupersub 26 (14:25) but now having been manifested and by the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, has made known to all the nations, into the obedience of the faith; \ulnone\nosupersub

Ephesians 3:3-10

3 that he made known the mystery to me according to revelation, just-as I wrote before in few words, 4 to which, you are able, by reading it, to perceive my understanding in the mystery of the Christ; 5 which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now was revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit. 6 The mystery is that the Gentiles are to be joint heirs and a joint body and joint partakers of his promise in the Christ through the good-news, 7 of which I became a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power. 8 This grace was given to me the least of all the holy-ones, to proclaim the good-news of the untraceable riches of Christ among the Gentiles;

Just-as the branch is not able to bring forth fruit from itself, if it does not abide in the vine; so neither can you if you do not abide in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him, this one is bringing forth much fruit, because you are not able to do anything separate from me.

17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from me.

19 Yet if you warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.
20 Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits unrighteousness and I lay a stumbling block before him, he will die. Because you have not given him warning, he will die in his sin and his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered, but I will require his blood at your hand.

6 But if the watchman sees the sword come and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at the watchman's hand.
7 So you, son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from me. 8 When I say to the wicked man, O wicked man, you will surely die and you do not speak to warn the wicked man from his way, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at your hand.

Except that in every manner, whether in pretext or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and I am rejoicing in this, but also, I will be rejoicing again.
