MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁶ And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man cast seed upon the earth; ²⁷ and he should sleep and should arise night and day, and the seed may sprout and should lengthen, he does not know how. ²⁸ For the earth is bearing-fruit by herself; first the blade, thereafter the top, then the full grain in the top. ²⁹ But whenever the fruit is giving way, immediately he sends forth the sickle, because the harvest is standing ready.
