¹ And there appeared a great sign in the heavens, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head,

³¹ But, in regard to the ambassadors of the rulers of Babylon who sent to him to ask about the wonder that was done in the land, God left him in order to try him, to know all that was in his heart.

¹¹ For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

² covering Yourself with light as with a robe; and stretching out the heavens like a curtain;

¹⁰ Who is she who looks forth like the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, awesome as armies with banners?

¹⁴ But Zion said, Jehovah has forsaken me, and my LORD has forgotten me. ¹⁵ Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. ¹⁶ Behold, I have carved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are forever before Me. ¹⁷ Your sons shall make haste; those destroying you and ruining you shall go out from you. ¹⁸ Lift up your eyes all around and see; they all gather and come to you. As I live, says Jehovah, you shall surely wear them as an ornament, and bind them on as a bride. ¹⁹ For your wastes and your deserted places, and your land of ruins, shall even now be too narrow to dwell there, and they who swallowed you up shall be far away. ²⁰ The sons of your bereavement shall yet say in your ears, The place is too narrow for me; come near to me so that I may dwell. ²¹ Then you shall say in your heart, Who has borne me these, since I am bereaved, and desolate, turned aside and an exile, and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where were they? ²² So says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and have set up My banner to the people; and they shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders. ²³ And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nurses. They shall bow to you, faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am Jehovah; by whom they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.

⁵ For your Maker is your husband; Jehovah of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; the God of the whole earth shall He be called. ⁶ For Jehovah has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when you were rejected, says your God. ⁷ For a little moment I have left you; but with great mercies I will gather you.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you. ² For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you. ³ And the nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning. ⁴ Lift up your eyes all around, and see. All of them gather themselves; they come to you. Your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day; nor the brightness of the moon give light to you; but Jehovah will be to you for everlasting light, and your God your glory. ²⁰ Your sun will no more go down, nor your moon withdraw; for Jehovah will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.

¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul will be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the robes of salvation, He covered me with the robe of righteousness like a bridegroom adorns himself with ornaments, and like a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

³ You also will be a crown of glory in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

¹⁹ And I will betroth you to Me forever. Yea, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving-kindness, and in mercies. ²⁰ I will even betroth you to Me in faithfulness. And you shall know Jehovah.

¹⁶ And Jehovah their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they are as stones of a crown, lifted up as a banner over His land.

² But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

³⁸ Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we want to see a sign from you.

³⁰ And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.

²⁵ and the stars of Heaven shall fall, and the powers in the heavens shall be shaken.

¹¹ And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines and plagues. And there shall be terrors and great signs from Heaven.

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars. And on the earth will be anxiety of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

²⁹ He who has the bride is the bridegroom, but the friend of the bridegroom who stands and hears him rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Then my joy is fulfilled.

¹⁹ And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and miracles on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke.

²² even the righteousness of God through the faith of Jesus Christ, toward all and upon all those who believe. For there is no difference,

¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take thought beforehand for the lusts of the flesh.

² For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy. For I have espoused you to one Man, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

²⁷ For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ.

¹⁴ But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, ²⁶ that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that it should be holy and without blemish.

³² This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

¹¹ For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, ¹² teaching us that having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live discreetly, righteously and godly, in this present world,

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His covenant, and there occurred lightnings and voices, and thunders and an earthquake, and a great hail.

³ And another sign was seen in the heavens. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads!

¹ And I saw another sign in Heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels with the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

²³ And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
