¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His covenant, and there occurred lightnings and voices, and thunders and an earthquake, and a great hail.

¹⁸ Behold! Tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the foundation of it even until now! ¹⁹ And now send out, gather your cattle, and all that you have in the field. Upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. ²⁰ He that feared the Word of Jehovah among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle to flee into the houses. ²¹ And he that did not regard the Word of Jehovah left his servants and his cattle in the field. ²² And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch forth your hand toward heaven, so that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. ²³ And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heavens. And Jehovah sent thunder and hail, and the fire came down to the ground. And Jehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt. ²⁴ And there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. ²⁵ And the hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast. And the hail struck every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field. ²⁶ Only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were, was there no hail. ²⁷ And Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time. Jehovah is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. ²⁸ Pray to Jehovah, for it is enough. Let there be no mighty thunderings and hail. And I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer. ²⁹ And Moses said to him, as soon as I go out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunder shall stop, and the hail will not be any more, so that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.

²¹ And you shall put the mercy-seat above, upon the ark. And in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. ²² And I will meet with you there, and I will talk with you from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubs on the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the sons of Israel.

⁵ And when the camp sets forth, Aaron and his sons shall come, and they shall take down the covering veil and cover the ark of testimony with it.

¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set forward, then after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. But they shall not touch any holy thing lest they die. These are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

³³ And they moved three days' journey from the mountain of Jehovah. And the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went before them in the three days' journey, to look for a resting-place for them.

¹¹ And it happened, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the descent of Bethhoron, Jehovah cast down great stones from the heavens on them to Azekah, and they died. The many who died from hailstones were more than the sons of Israel killed with the sword.

²² Have you entered into the storehouses of the snow? Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, ²³ which I have kept for the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

¹² At the brightness before Him, His dark clouds passed through, hailstones and coals of fire passed.

³² He gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.

¹ In the year that King Uzziah died I then saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. ² Above it stood the seraphs; each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. ³ And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory. ⁴ And the doorposts moved at the voice of the one who cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

² Behold, the Lord is a mighty and strong one, like a hailstorm, a destroying storm; like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, He casts down to the earth with the hand.

³⁰ And Jehovah shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and the bringing down of His arm shall be seen with raging anger and flame of a devouring fire, cloudburst and storm and hailstones.

¹⁹ Though it hails, when the forest is felled, and the city laid low.

¹¹ Say to those who daub with lime, yes, it shall fall; there will be a flooding rain; and you, O hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind will break.

²² And I will judge him with a plague and with blood. And I will rain on him, and on his bands, and on the many peoples with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire and brimstone.

¹⁴ (But their thoughts were blinded; for until the present the same veil remains on the reading of the old covenant, not taken away.) But this veil has been done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is on their heart. ¹⁶ But whenever it turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

⁴ having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid all around with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant. ⁵ And over it were the cherubs of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat (about which we cannot now speak piece by piece. ⁶ Now when these things were ordained in this way, the priests always went into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. ⁷ But once in the year into the second the high priest goes alone, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the errors of the people) ⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way into the Holiest of all was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

⁵ And out of the throne came lightnings and thunderings and voices. And seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

⁵ And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth. And voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake occurred.

⁷ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast on the earth. And the third part of trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

¹³ And in that hour a great earthquake occurred, and the tenth part of the city fell. And seven thousand names of men were slain in the earthquake. And the rest were frightened and gave glory to the God of Heaven.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ. And He will reign forever and ever.

¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, crying in a great voice to Him sitting on the cloud, Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth was dried. ¹⁶ And He sitting on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. ¹⁷ And another angel came out of the temple in Heaven, also having a sharp sickle.

⁵ And after these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony was opened in Heaven. ⁶ And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and were tied at the breasts with golden bands. ⁷ And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. ⁸ And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His authority. And no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

¹⁸ And voices and thunders and lightnings occurred. And there was a great earthquake, such as has not been since men were on the earth, so mighty and so great an earthquake.

²¹ And a great hail, as the size of a talent, came down out of the heaven on men. And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague of it was exceedingly great.

¹¹ And I saw Heaven opened. And behold, a white horse! And He sitting on him was called Faithful and True. And in righteousness He judges and makes war.
