¹ And a reed like a rod was given to me. And the angel stood, saying, Rise up and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. ² But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it was given to the nations. And they will trample the holy city forty-two months. ³ And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy a thousand, two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. ⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. ⁵ And if anyone will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone will hurt them, so it is right for him to be killed. ⁶ These have authority to shut up the heaven, that it may not rain in the days of their prophecy. And they have authority over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire. ⁷ And when they complete their testimony, the beast coming up out of the abyss will make war against them and will overcome them and kill them. ⁸ And their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. ⁹ And many of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will see their dead bodies three days and a half, and they will not allow their dead bodies to be put in tombs. ¹⁰ And the ones who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, and will make merry, and will send one another gifts, because these two prophets tormented those living on the earth. ¹¹ And after three days and a half, a spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. And great fear fell on those seeing them. ¹² And they heard a great voice from Heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up to Heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. ¹³ And in that hour a great earthquake occurred, and the tenth part of the city fell. And seven thousand names of men were slain in the earthquake. And the rest were frightened and gave glory to the God of Heaven. ¹⁴ The second woe passed away. Behold, the third woe comes quickly. ¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ. And He will reign forever and ever. ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders sitting before God on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God, ¹⁷ saying, We thank You, O Lord God Almighty, who are, and who was, and who is coming, because You took Your great power and reigned. ¹⁸ And the nations were full of wrath, and Your wrath came, and the time of the judging of the dead, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to the ones fearing Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those destroying the earth. ¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His covenant, and there occurred lightnings and voices, and thunders and an earthquake, and a great hail.

⁷ And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

⁴ There were giants in the earth in those days. And also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore to them, they were mighty men who existed of old, men of renown.

¹³ But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before Jehovah, exceedingly so.

¹ And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect.

²⁴ Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire, from Jehovah out of the heavens.

³⁴ And Jacob tore his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

¹³ And the Egyptians made the sons of Israel serve with harshness. ¹⁴ And they made their lives bitter with hard work in mortar and in bricks, and in all kinds of work in the field; all their work in which they made them do was with harshness.

⁷ And Jehovah said, I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt; I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows.

¹⁷ Thus says Jehovah, In this you shall know that I am Jehovah. Behold! I will smite with the rod that is in my hand upon the waters in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. ¹⁸ And the fish in the river shall die, and the river shall stink. And the Egyptians shall hate to drink of the water of the river. ¹⁹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, Say to Aaron, Take your rod, and stretch out your hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their canals, and upon their pools, and upon every reservoir of their waters, that they may become blood. And blood shall be throughout all the land of Egypt, both in wooden and in stone vessels. ²⁰ And Moses and Aaron did so, as Jehovah commanded. And he lifted up the rod and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants. And all the waters in the river were turned to blood. ²¹ And the fish in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river. And there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. ²² And the magicians of Egypt did so with their secret arts. And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as Jehovah had said. ²³ And Pharaoh turned and went into his house; And he did not set his heart to this also. ²⁴ And all the Egyptians dug all around the river for water to drink, for they could not drink of the water of the river. ²⁵ And seven days were completed after Jehovah had stricken the river.

²² And in that day I will cut off the land of Goshen, in which My people live, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, so that you may know that I am Jehovah in the midst of the earth.

¹⁸ Behold! Tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the foundation of it even until now! ¹⁹ And now send out, gather your cattle, and all that you have in the field. Upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. ²⁰ He that feared the Word of Jehovah among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle to flee into the houses. ²¹ And he that did not regard the Word of Jehovah left his servants and his cattle in the field. ²² And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch forth your hand toward heaven, so that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. ²³ And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heavens. And Jehovah sent thunder and hail, and the fire came down to the ground. And Jehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt. ²⁴ And there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. ²⁵ And the hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast. And the hail struck every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field. ²⁶ Only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were, was there no hail. ²⁷ And Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time. Jehovah is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. ²⁸ Pray to Jehovah, for it is enough. Let there be no mighty thunderings and hail. And I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer. ²⁹ And Moses said to him, as soon as I go out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunder shall stop, and the hail will not be any more, so that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.

²⁵ And He took off their chariot wheels, and made them go heavily, so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel, for Jehovah fights for them against the Egyptians.

¹⁸ Jehovah shall reign forever and ever.

² I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

²¹ And you shall put the mercy-seat above, upon the ark. And in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. ²² And I will meet with you there, and I will talk with you from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubs on the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the sons of Israel.

⁵ And when the camp sets forth, Aaron and his sons shall come, and they shall take down the covering veil and cover the ark of testimony with it.

¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set forward, then after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. But they shall not touch any holy thing lest they die. These are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

³³ And they moved three days' journey from the mountain of Jehovah. And the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went before them in the three days' journey, to look for a resting-place for them.

²⁶ But two of the men stayed in the camp; the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other was Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. And they were of those who were written, but did not go out to the tabernacle. And they prophesied in the camp.

³⁴ According to the number of the days in which you searched the land, forty days, each day for a year you shall bear your iniquities, forty years; and you shall know My alienation.

²⁸ And Moses said, By this you shall know that Jehovah has sent me to do all these works, and that not from my own heart. ²⁹ If these men die the common death of all men, or if they are visited according to the examination of all men, Jehovah has not sent me. ³⁰ But if Jehovah makes a new thing, and the earth opens her mouth and swallows them up with all that they have, and they go down alive into the pit, then you shall understand that these men have provoked Jehovah. ³¹ And it happened, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. ³² And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who were for Korah, and all their goods. ³³ They and all that they had went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed upon them. And they perished from among the congregation. ³⁴ And all Israel around them fled at their cry. For they said, Lest the earth swallow us up. ³⁵ And there came out a fire from Jehovah and burned up the two hundred and fifty men who offered incense.

¹⁸ And they pulled up stakes from Hazeroth and pitched in Rithmah.

⁸ At that time Jehovah separated the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, to stand before Jehovah to minister to Him, and to bless in His name, until today.

⁶ At the mouth of two witnesses or three witnesses shall he that is worthy of death be put to death. At the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

¹⁵ One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins. At the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be made sure.

⁹ And she said to the men, I know that Jehovah has given you the land, and that your terror has fallen on us, and that all those who live in the land faint because of you.

¹⁹ And Joshua said to Achan, My son, I pray you, give glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and make confession to Him. And tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.

¹¹ And it happened, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the descent of Bethhoron, Jehovah cast down great stones from the heavens on them to Azekah, and they died. The many who died from hailstones were more than the sons of Israel killed with the sword.

²³ Then the lords of the Philistines gathered in order to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. For they said, Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hand. ²⁴ And the people saw him and praised their god. For they said, Our god has delivered our enemy into our hand, and the destroyer of our country, who killed many of us.

⁸ Woe to us! Who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods that struck the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

⁵ And you shall make images of your hemorrhoids, and images of your mice which mar the land. And you shall give glory to the God of Israel. Perhaps He will lighten His hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

¹ And Elijah the Tishbite, of the sojourners of Gilead, said to Ahab, As Jehovah, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except according to my word.

¹⁷ And it happened when Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, Are you he that troubles Israel?

²⁰ And Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you because you have sold yourself to work evil in the sight of Jehovah.

⁸ And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of Jehovah. But I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

¹⁸ And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

¹⁰ And Elijah answered and said to the commander of fifty, If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the heavens and burn up you and your fifty. And there came down fire from the heavens and burned up him and his fifty. ¹¹ And he turned and he sent to him another commander of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said to him, Man of God! So says the king, Come down quickly. ¹² And Elijah answered and said to him, If I am a man of God, let fire come down from the heavens and burn up you and your fifty. And the fire of God came down from the heavens and burned up him and his fifty.

¹ And it happened when Jehovah was to take Elijah up into Heaven by a whirlwind, Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

⁵ And the sons of the prophets at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, Do you know that Jehovah will take your master away from your head today? And he answered, Yes, I know. Keep silent.

⁷ And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went on and stood afar off across from them. And both of them stood by the Jordan.

¹¹ And it happened as they went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire came, and they separated between them both. And Elijah went up in a tempest into Heaven.

¹⁶ And David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of Jehovah standing between the earth and the heavens, and his sword drawn in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem. And David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.

¹⁰ Then he said to them, Go eat the fat and drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our LORD. And do not be sorry, for the joy of Jehovah is your strength. ¹¹ And the Levites quieted all the people, saying, Be quiet, for the day is holy. And do not be grieved. ¹² And all the people went to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words which were declared to them.

¹ And Mordecai understood all that was done, and Mordecai tore his clothes and put on sackcloth with ashes and went out into the middle of the city, and cried with a loud and bitter cry. ² And he even came before the king's gate for none might enter into the king's gate clothed with sackcloth.

¹⁹ Therefore the Jews of the villages, who lived in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and a day of sending portions to one another. ²⁰ And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters to all the Jews in all the provinces of the King Ahasuerus, near and far, ²¹ to establish among them that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly, ²² as the days in which the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned to them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day; that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions to one another, and gifts to the poor.

¹⁵ I have sewed sackcloth on my skin and thrust my horn in the dust.

²² Have you entered into the storehouses of the snow? Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, ²³ which I have kept for the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

¹ Why do the nations rage, and the peoples meditate on a vain thing? ² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers plot together, against Jehovah and against His anointed, saying,

⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His anger, and trouble them in His wrath.

⁴ lest my enemy say, I have overcome him, and my foes rejoice when I am shaken.

¹ A Psalm of David. Jehovah, who shall dwell in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell on Your holy hill?

⁸ A smoke went up out of His nostrils, and fire devoured out of His mouth; coals were kindled by it.

¹² At the brightness before Him, His dark clouds passed through, hailstones and coals of fire passed.

¹³ Be exalted, O Jehovah, in Your strength; we will sing, and praise Your power.

²⁷ All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to Jehovah; and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. ²⁸ For the kingdom is Jehovah's; and He is the ruler among the nations.

³ Who shall go up into the hill of Jehovah? Or who shall stand in His holy place?

¹⁹ Let not those who are my lying enemies rejoice over me, those who hate me without cause wink with the eye.

²⁴ Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to Your righteousness; and do not let them rejoice over me. ²⁵ Let them not say in their hearts, Aha! Our Soul! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up. ²⁶ Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor together, those who magnify themselves over me.

⁸ But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.

¹¹ Be exalted above the heavens, O God; let Your glory be above all the earth.

⁹ And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall in wisdom think of His doing. ¹⁰ The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

¹¹ Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him.

⁴³ how He had set His signs in Egypt, and His wonders in the fields of Zoan. ⁴⁴ He turned their rivers into blood, and their floods, so that they could not drink. ⁴⁵ He sent different kinds of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them. ⁴⁶ He also gave their crops to the stripping locust, and their labor to the locust. ⁴⁷ He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycamore trees with sleet. ⁴⁸ He gave up their cattle to the hail, and their flocks to bolts of fire. ⁴⁹ He sent on them the heat of His anger, wrath and fury and trouble, by sending evil angels. ⁵⁰ He made a way to His anger; He did not save their soul from death, but gave their life over to the plague, ⁵¹ and struck all the first-born in Egypt, the first of the strong in the tents of Ham;

¹ A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have come into Your inheritance; they have defiled Your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps. ² They have given the dead bodies of Your servants as food for the birds of the heavens, the flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth. ³ They have shed their blood like water round about Jerusalem, and none to bury.

⁹ Surely His salvation is near those that fear Him, so that glory may dwell in our land.

⁹ All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name.

¹⁷ Show me a token for good, so that they who hate me may see and be ashamed; because You, Jehovah, have helped me and comforted me.

¹⁵ Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Jehovah, in the light of Your face. ¹⁶ In Your name they shall rejoice all the day; and in Your righteousness they shall be lifted up. ¹⁷ For You are the glory of their strength; and in Your favor our horn shall be lifted up.

⁴² You have set up the right hand of his enemies; You have made all his enemies rejoice.

¹ A Psalm. O sing to Jehovah a new song; for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have saved for Him. ² Jehovah has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has unveiled to the eyes of the nations. ³ He has remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of Jehovah.

¹³ You shall arise, and have mercy on Zion; for the time to pity her, yea, the set time, has come. ¹⁴ For Your servants take pleasure in its stones, and pity its dust. ¹⁵ So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. ¹⁶ When Jehovah shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory. ¹⁷ He will turn to the prayer of the forsaken and not despise their prayer. ¹⁸ This shall be written for the generation to come; and the people who shall be created shall praise Jehovah.

¹¹ For as the heavens are high above the earth, so is His mercy toward those who fear Him.

²⁶ He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen. ²⁷ They showed His signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham. ²⁸ He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they did not rebel against His Word. ²⁹ He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish. ³⁰ Their land swarmed with frogs in the rooms of their kings. ³¹ He spoke, and there came fly swarms and gnats in all their borders. ³² He gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.

¹³ He will bless those who fear Jehovah, both small and great. ¹⁴ Jehovah shall add on to you, even on you and on your sons.

¹⁰ Jehovah shall reign forever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Jehovah!

¹¹ Jehovah takes pleasure in those who fear Him, who hope in His mercy.

¹⁷ Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;

³ If a man fathers a hundred, and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, and his soul is not filled with good, and also is for him no burial; I say, a miscarriage is better than he.

¹² Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days be made longer, yet surely I know that it shall be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.

¹³ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.

⁹ Except Jehovah of Hosts had left us a very small remnant, we would be as Sodom; we would be like Gomorrah. ¹⁰ Hear the Word of Jehovah, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the Law of our God, people of Gomorrah.

² And it shall be, in the last days the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow into it. ³ And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go out the Law, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

⁹ The look of their faces witnesses against them; and they declare their sin like Sodom. They do not hide it! Woe to their soul! For they have rewarded evil to themselves.

¹ In the year that King Uzziah died I then saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. ² Above it stood the seraphs; each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. ³ And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory. ⁴ And the doorposts moved at the voice of the one who cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

⁷ There is no end of the increase of His government and peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁴ But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with uprightness for the meek of the earth. And He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

¹³ For you have said in your heart, I will go up to the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.

¹² And in that day Jehovah of Hosts called to weeping and mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth.

¹⁵ You have increased the nation, O Jehovah, You have increased the nation; You are glorified; You have extended all the ends of the land. ¹⁶ Jehovah, in trouble they have visited You; they poured out a prayer; Your chastening was on them.

¹⁹ Your dead ones shall live, together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is as the dew of lights, and the earth shall cast out the dead. ²⁰ Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors around you; hide for a little moment, until the fury has passed by. ²¹ For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the people of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her dead.

¹³ And it shall be, in that day the great ram's horn shall be blown, and those perishing in the land of Assyria shall come, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.

² Behold, the Lord is a mighty and strong one, like a hailstorm, a destroying storm; like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, He casts down to the earth with the hand.

¹⁷ Also I will lay judgment to the line, and righteousness to the plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

³⁰ And Jehovah shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and the bringing down of His arm shall be seen with raging anger and flame of a devouring fire, cloudburst and storm and hailstones.

¹⁹ Though it hails, when the forest is felled, and the city laid low.

¹ Woe to the destroyer, and you who have not been destroyed; and betrayer, and they have not betrayed you. When you stop destroying, you shall be destroyed. When you stop betraying, they shall betray you.

¹ Come near, nations, to hear; and, you people, listen; let the earth hear, and its fullness; the world, and its offspring. ² For the anger of Jehovah is on all nations, and His fury on all their armies. He has completely destroyed them, He has delivered them to the slaughter. ³ Also their dead shall be thrown out, and their stink shall come up out of their dead bodies, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. ⁴ And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled like a scroll; and all their host shall droop, as a leaf falls off from the vine, and as the falling from the fig tree. ⁵ For My sword bathed in the heavens. Behold, it shall come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse for judgment. ⁶ The sword of Jehovah is filled with blood; it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for Jehovah has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. ⁷ And the wild oxen shall come down with them, and the bulls with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. ⁸ For it is the day of Jehovah's vengeance, the year to repay for the fighting against Zion. ⁹ And its streams shall be turned into pitch, and its dust to brimstone, and its land shall become burning pitch. ¹⁰ It shall not be put out night or day; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; none passes through it forever and forever.

Was it not You who cut Rahab into pieces, piercing the sea-monster? ¹⁰ Was it not You who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? ¹¹ Therefore the redeemed of Jehovah shall return and come with singing into Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their head. And they will call you, The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

They also rested on them the instruments with which they slaughtered the burnt offering and the sacrifice. ⁴³ And the double hooks of one span were fastened in the house all around, and on the tables the flesh of the offering. ⁴⁴ And from the outside to the inner court were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate. And their face was southward: one at the side of the east gate looked the way of the north. ⁴⁵ And he said to me, This chamber facing southward is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house. ⁴⁶ And the chamber facing northward is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. They are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, who come near Jehovah to minister to Him. ⁴⁷ And he measured the court, a square, a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide; and the altar was before the house. ⁴⁸ And he brought me to the porch of the house and measured each pillar of the porch, five cubits from here and five cubits from there. ²⁵ And also through his understanding, he shall cause deceit to succeed in his hand. And he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many. He also shall stand up against the Ruler of rulers. But he shall be broken without a hand.

⁴⁴ But news out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him. Then he will go out with great fury to destroy, and to devote many to destruction.

⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was on the waters of the river, when he held up his right and his left hand to Heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half. And when they have made an end of scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the desolating abomination set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days shall occur. ¹² Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

²³ And I will sow her to Me in the earth. And I will have mercy on No-mercy. And I will say to Not-my-people, You are My people. And they shall say, My God.

⁵ Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

⁵ So I have cut them down by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth. And your judgments were as the light that goes forth.

⁹ Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up. ¹⁰ Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, I am strong. ¹¹ Gather yourselves and come, all you nations, and gather yourselves together all around; cause Your mighty ones to come down there, O Jehovah. ¹² Let the nations be awakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the nations all around. ¹³ Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, come down; for the press is full; the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great. ¹⁴ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision!

¹¹ I have overthrown some among you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand plucked out of the burning; yet you have not returned to Me, says Jehovah.

¹¹ In that day I will raise up the booth of David that has fallen, and close up its breaks; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; ¹² so that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations on whom My name is called, says Jehovah who is doing this.

¹² But you should not have looked on the day of your brother on the day of his alienation; nor should you have rejoiced over the sons of Judah in the day of their ruin; nor should you have enlarged your mouth in the day of distress.

¹ But it shall be in the last days the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it. ² And many nations shall come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for the Law shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

⁷ And I will make the lame into a remnant, and her who was cast off a strong nation; and Jehovah shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forever.

¹³ Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze; and you shall crush many peoples. And I will give their gain to Jehovah, and their wealth to the Lord of the all the earth.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, my enemy; for if I fall, I shall arise; for if I sit in darkness, Jehovah shall be a light to me.

¹⁵ According to the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt I will show to him marvelous things. ¹⁶ The nations shall see and be ashamed at all their might; they shall lay their hand on their mouth; their ears shall be deaf. ¹⁷ They shall lick the dust like a snake; they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth. They shall dread Jehovah our God, and shall fear because of You.

⁹ For then I will give a clear lip to the people, to call all of them by the name of Jehovah, to serve Him with one shoulder. ¹⁰ From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, My worshipers, the daughter of My scattered ones, shall bring My food offering.

⁶ But My Words and My statutes which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? And they returned and said, As Jehovah of Hosts planned to do to us, according to our ways and according to our doings, so He has done with us.

And their tongue shall rot in their mouth. ¹³ And it shall be in that day a great panic of Jehovah shall be among them And they shall each one lay hold of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor. ¹⁴ And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations all around shall be gathered, gold, and silver, and clothing in great abundance. ¹⁵ And so shall be the plague of the horse, the mule, the camel, and the ass, and of all the beasts which shall be in these tents, like this plague. ¹⁶ And it shall be, everyone who is left of all the nations which came up against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁷ And it shall be, whoever will not come up from all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, Jehovah of Hosts, even on them shall be no rain. ¹⁸ And if the family of Egypt does not go up, nor come in, they shall have no rain, but the plague with which Jehovah shall strike the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁹ This shall be Egypt's offense, and the offense of all the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ²⁰ In that day there shall be on the bells of the horses, HOLY TO JEHOVAH. And the pots in Jehovah's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. ²¹ Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holy to Jehovah of Hosts. And all those who sacrifice shall come and take of them, and boil in them. And in that day there shall no longer be a trader in the house of Jehovah of Hosts.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun even to its going in, My name shall be great among the nations; and everywhere incense shall be offered to My name, and a pure food offering. For My name shall be great among the nations, says Jehovah of Hosts.

² If you will not hear, and if you will not set it on your heart to give glory to My name, says Jehovah of Hosts, then I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. And indeed I have cursed it, because you do not set it on your heart.

¹⁸ Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not serve Him.

⁵ Then the Devil took Him up into the holy city and set Him upon a pinnacle of the Temple.

¹² Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven is great. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. ¹³ You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be salted? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and to be trodden underfoot by men. ¹⁴ You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the grain-measure, but on a lampstand. And it gives light to all who are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

³³ No one, when he has lighted a lamp, puts it in a secret place, or under a grain-measure, but on a lampstand, so that they who come in may see the light.

³² And He said to them, You go and tell that fox, Behold, today and tomorrow, I cast out demons and I complete cures, and the third day I will be finished. ³³ Yet I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following. For it cannot be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem. ³⁴ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! the one killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her; how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it.

⁶ And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.

⁴⁸ And you are witnesses of these things.

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. ⁸ The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice, but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

²⁷ And John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it is given to him from Heaven.

⁸ But you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth. ⁹ And saying these things, as they watched, He was taken up. And a cloud received Him out of their sight.

And coming on the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the mob. ⁶ And not finding them, they drew Jason and certain brothers before the city judges, crying, These who have turned the world upside down have come here too,

²⁴ But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you.

³⁴ Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, "For Your sake we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep of slaughter." ³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.

¹⁷ And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and became a sharer of the root and the fatness of the olive tree with them,

¹⁶ Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? ¹⁷ If anyone defiles the temple of God, God shall destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which you are.

²⁸ And God set some in the church, firstly, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers, then works of power, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, kinds of languages.

⁶ Charity does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth,

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and He revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place.

¹⁴ (But their thoughts were blinded; for until the present the same veil remains on the reading of the old covenant, not taken away.) But this veil has been done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is on their heart. ¹⁶ But whenever it turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

¹⁵ Thanks be to God for His unspeakable free gift.

¹ I am coming to you this third time. In the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.

¹⁴ But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world. ¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. ¹⁶ And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them and upon the Israel of God.

⁵ (even when we were dead in sins) has made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved), ⁶ and has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,

²⁰ and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, ²¹ in whom every building having been fitly framed together, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord; ²² in whom you also are built together for a dwelling place of God through the Spirit.

¹¹ And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,

¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord.

⁵ For this is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God for which you also suffer, ⁶ since it is a righteous thing with God to repay tribulation to those who trouble you, ⁷ and to give rest with us to you who are troubled, at the revealing of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power,

³ Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition, ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God. ⁵ Do you not remember that I told you these things when I was still with you? ⁶ And now you know what holds back, for him to be revealed in his own time. ⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst. ⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,

¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who strengthened me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry--

¹ But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons, ² speaking lies in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience, ³ forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

¹ Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand. ² For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, ⁴ traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these. ⁶ For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts,

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

⁸ But to the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

⁶ and who have fallen away; it is impossible, I say, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify the Son of God afresh to themselves and put Him to an open shame.

⁴ having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid all around with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant. ⁵ And over it were the cherubs of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat (about which we cannot now speak piece by piece. ⁶ Now when these things were ordained in this way, the priests always went into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. ⁷ But once in the year into the second the high priest goes alone, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the errors of the people) ⁸ the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way into the Holiest of all was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

²⁷ And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment,

²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

²⁵ choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time, ²⁶ esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.

¹⁶ Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much. ¹⁷ Elijah was a man of like passion as we are. And he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for the time of three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to sprout.

⁵ you also as living stones are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

⁶ And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, He condemned them with an overthrow, setting an example to men intending to live ungodly.

⁷ as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these, committing fornication, and going away after other flesh, laid down an example before-times, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire.

⁴ John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming; and from the seven spirits which are before His throne; ⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

⁸ I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

⁴ You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments. And they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.

¹⁰ Because you have kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which will come upon all the habitable world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

¹² And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

¹⁵ And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.

² And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.

¹⁹ And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.
