¹³ And He called his ten servants and delivered ten minas, and said to them, Trade until I come back.

¹⁴ For it is as if a man going abroad called his own servants and gave them his goods. ¹⁵ And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there also My servant shall be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

⁶ Then having gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, if prophecy, according to the proportion of faith; ⁷ or ministry, in the ministry; or he who teaches, in the teaching; ⁸ or he who exhorts, in the encouragement; or he who shares, in simplicity; or he who takes the lead, in diligence; or he who shows mercy, in cheerfulness.

⁷ But to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit. ⁸ For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom; and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; ⁹ and to another faith by the same Spirit; and to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; ¹⁰ and to another workings of powers, to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to another kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each one as He desires.

²⁸ And God set some in the church, firstly, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers, then works of power, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, kinds of languages. ²⁹ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of power?

¹⁰ For now do I persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
