⁴ But forgiveness is with You that You may be feared.

⁵ And Jehovah came down in the cloud. And he placed himself there with Him, and he called on the name of Jehovah. ⁶ And Jehovah passed by before his face and called out: Jehovah! Jehovah God! Merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and great in goodness and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and not leaving entirely unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, and on sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.

³⁹ then You shall hear in Heaven Your dwellingplace and shall forgive and shall act, and shall give to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You have known, You alone, the heart of all the sons of Adam), ⁴⁰ so that they shall fear You all the days that they are living on the face of the land that You have given to our fathers.

¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear; yea, rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

¹¹ For Your name's sake, O Jehovah, even pardon my iniquity for it is great.

⁵ For You, O Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all who call on You.

² Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all His rewards; ³ who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

¹⁸ Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way and the vain man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

³⁴ And they shall no longer each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah. For they shall all know Me, from the least of them even to the greatest of them, declares Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.

⁸ And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity which they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities which they have sinned against Me, and which they have rebelled against Me. ⁹ And it shall be a name of joy to Me, a praise and a glory to all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them. And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the peace that I do for it.

⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and pardons, for we have rebelled against Him.

⁵ Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in grace. ¹⁹ He will return to show us compassion; He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ You will give faithfulness to Jacob, kindness to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

³¹ Then, indeed, the churches throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, having been built up and having gone on in the fear of the Lord. And they were increased in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to flesh, but according to Spirit.

¹⁹ whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not charging their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us.

¹⁹ However, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, " The Lord knew those being His;" Num. 16:5, also, Let everyone naming the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling speaking better things than that of Abel. ²⁵ Watch that you do not refuse the One speaking; for if these did not escape who refused Him who divinely warned them on earth, much rather we, those turning away from Heaven; ²⁶ whose voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once" "I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens." Hag. 2:6 ²⁷ Now the words "Yet once" make clear the removal of the things being shaken, as having been made, so that the things not being shaken may remain. ²⁸ For this reason, receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have grace, by which we may serve God pleasingly, with reverence and awe;
