¹ And going in, He passed through Jericho. ² And, behold, a man called by name Zaccheus; and he was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. ³ And he was seeking to see Jesus, who He is. And he was not able, because of the crowd, and he was little in stature. ⁴ And running ahead, he went up onto a sycamore tree, so that he might see Him; for He was going to pass through that way . ⁵ And as He came to the place, looking up, Jesus saw him, and said to him, Zaccheus, hurry, come down, for today I must stay in your house. ⁶ And hastening, he came down and welcomed Him, rejoicing. ⁷ And seeing, all murmured, saying, He has gone in to stay with a sinful man. ⁸ But standing, Zaccheus said to the Lord, Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor. And if in anything I accused anyone falsely, I restore it fourfold. ⁹ And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, for he also is a son of Abraham. ¹⁰ For the Son of man came to seek and to save the one being lost. ¹¹ But as they were hearing these things, He spoke, adding a parable, because He was near to Jerusalem, and they thought that the kingdom of God was immediately to be revealed. ¹² Then He said: A certain wellborn man went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and to return. ¹³ And calling ten of his slaves, He gave to them ten minas and said to them, Trade until I come. ¹⁴ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not desire this one to reign over us. ¹⁵ And it happened as he returned, having received the kingdom, he even said for those slaves to be called to him, those to whom he gave the silver, that he might know what each had gained by trading. ¹⁶ And the first came, saying, Lord, your mina has gained ten minas. ¹⁷ And he said to him, Well done, good slave! Because you were faithful in a least thing, have authority over ten cities. ¹⁸ And the second came, saying, Lord, your mina has made five minas. ¹⁹ And he said to this one also, And you be over five cities. ²⁰ And another came, saying, Lord, behold your mina which I had kept in a handkerchief. ²¹ For I feared you, because you are an exacting man, taking what you did not lay down, and reaping what you did not sow. ²² But he said to him, I will judge you out of your own mouth, wicked slave. You knew that I am an exacting man, taking what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow. ²³ And why did you not give my silver on the bank table? And coming, I might have exacted it with interest. ²⁴ And to those standing by, he said, Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas. ²⁵ And they said to him, Lord, he has ten minas. ²⁶ For I say to you, To everyone who has, it will be given. And from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. ²⁷ But these enemies of mine, those not desiring me to reign over them, bring them here and execute them before me. ²⁸ And saying these things, He went in front, going up to Jerusalem. ²⁹ And it happened as He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany toward the Mount called Of Olives, He sent two of the disciples, ³⁰ saying, Go into the village opposite you, in which having entered you will find a colt which has been tied up, on which no one of men ever yet sat. Untying it, bring it . ³¹ And if anyone asks, Why do you untie it ? You shall say to them, The Lord has need of it. ³² And going, those having been sent found as He told them. ³³ And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, Why do you untie the colt? ³⁴ And they said, The Lord has need of it. ³⁵ And they led it to Jesus. And throwing their garments on the colt, they put Jesus on it . ³⁶ And as He went, they were spreading their garments in the highway. ³⁷ And as He was already drawing near to the descent of the Mount of Olives, all the multitude of the disciples began rejoicing, to praise God with a loud voice concerning all the works of power which they saw, ³⁸ saying, "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord," the King. Peace in Heaven, and glory in the highest! Psa. 118:26 ³⁹ And some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him, Teacher, rebuke your disciples. ⁴⁰ And answering, He said to them, I say to you, If these should be silent, the stones will cry out. ⁴¹ And as He drew near, seeing the city, He wept over it, ⁴² saying, If you had known, even you, even at least in this day of yours, the things for your peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes. ⁴³ For the days will come on you, and your enemies will raise up a rampart to you and will surround you and will keep you in on every side, ⁴⁴ and will tear you down, and your children in you, and will not leave a stone on a stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation. ⁴⁵ And entering into the temple, He began to throw out those selling and buying in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, It has been written, "My house is a house of prayer," but you made it "a den of robbers." Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11 ⁴⁷ And He was teaching day by day in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief men of the people sought to kill Him. ⁴⁸ And they did not find what they might do; for all the people hung on Him, listening.

¹ And Joshua the son of Nun sent two men out of Shittim to spy secretly, saying, Go look over the land, and Jericho. And they went and came into the house of a woman, a harlot; and her name was Rahab. And they lay down there.

¹ And Jericho was closed, and was shut in from the face of the sons of Israel; no one going out, and no one coming in. ² And Jehovah said to Joshua, See I have given Jericho and its king, mighty warriors, into your hand. ³ And you shall go around the city, all the men of battle, going around the city once; so you shall do six days. ⁴ And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of ram's horns before the ark. And on the seventh day you shall go around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. ⁵ And it shall be, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the ram's horn, all the people shall shout with a great shout. And the wall of the city shall fall down flat; and the people shall go up, each man in front of him. ⁶ And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of ram's horns before the ark of Jehovah. ⁷ And he said to the people, Pass on, go around the city, and he who is shall go on before the ark of Jehovah. ⁸ And it happened, when Joshua spoke to the people, the seven priests bearing seven trumpets of the ram's horns before Jehovah passed on and blew with the ram's horn. And the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went after them. ⁹ And he who was armed went before the priests blowing the ram's horns. And the rear guard after the ark, going on and blowing with the trumpets. ¹⁰ And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, You shall not shout, nor cause your voice to be heard, nor shall there go from your mouth a word until the day I say to you, Shout! Then you shall shout. ¹¹ And the ark of Jehovah went around the city, going around one time. And they came into the camp, and remained in the camp. ¹² And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests bore the ark of Jehovah. ¹³ And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of the ram's horns were walking before the ark of Jehovah, going on, and were blowing with the rams' horns. And he who was armed went before them. And the rear guard went behind the ark of Jehovah, going on and blowing with the rams' horns. ¹⁴ And they circled the city on the second day one time, and returned to the camp. So they did six days. ¹⁵ And it happened on the seventh day, they rose early, at the dawning of the day, and went around the city seven times in the same way. Only on that day they circled the city seven times. ¹⁶ And it happened at the seventh time the priests blew with the rams' horns. And Joshua said to the people, Shout! For Jehovah has given you the city. ¹⁷ And the city shall be devoted to Jehovah, it and all that are in it. Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. ¹⁸ And you shall certainly keep clear of the cursed things, that you not become accursed by taking from the cursed things, and shall make the camp of Israel become accursed, and trouble it. ¹⁹ And all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, they are holy to Jehovah; they shall come into the treasury of Jehovah. ²⁰ And the people shouted, and blew with the ram's horns, and it happened, when the people heard the sound of the ram's horn, the people shouted a great shout. And the wall fell under it; and the people went up into the city, each man in front of him; and they captured the city. ²¹ And they destroyed all that was in the city, from man even to woman, from young even to aged, and to ox, and sheep, and ass, by the mouth of the sword. ²² And Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, Go into the house of the woman, the harlot, and bring the woman out from there, and all whom she has, as you have sworn to her. ²³ And the young men, the spies, went in and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brothers, and all whom she had; yea, they brought all her family, and set them outside the camp of Israel. ²⁴ And they burned the city with fire, and all that was in it. Only they gave the silver and the gold, and the vessels of bronze, and of iron, to the treasury of the house of Jehovah. ²⁵ And Joshua kept alive Rahab the harlot, and the house of her father, and all whom she had. And she lives in the midst of Israel to this day. For she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. ²⁶ And at that time Joshua adjured, saying, Cursed be the man who rises up before the face of Jehovah and builds this city of Jericho. He shall lay its foundation in his first-born, and he shall set up its doors in his youngest son. ²⁷ And Jehovah was with Joshua, and his fame was in all the land.

³⁴ In his days Hiel the man of Bethel built Jericho; he laid its foundation in his firstborn Abiram, and he set up its doors in Segub his youngest, according to the word of Jehovah that He spoke by the hand of Joshua the son of Nun.

¹⁸ And they returned to him, and he was staying in Jericho. And he said to them, Did I not say to you, Do not go? ¹⁹ And the men of the city said to Elisha, Behold, now, the site of the city is good, as my lord sees, but the waters are bad; and the ground causes barrenness. ²⁰ And he said, Bring a new dish to me, and put salt there. And they took it to him. ²¹ And he went out to the source of the waters and threw salt there, and said, So says Jehovah, I have given healing to these waters; there shall not be death and sterility there any more. ²² And the waters were healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha that he spoke.

³⁵ And it happened as He drew near to Jericho, a certain blind one sat by the highway, begging.

⁵ And Jehovah confirmed the kingdom in his hand. And all of Judah gave a present to Jehoshaphat. And he had riches and honor in abundance. ⁶ And his heart was exalted in the ways of Jehovah. And he again removed the high places and the Asherahs out of Judah.

²⁴ And seeing him having become very much grieved, Jesus said, How hardly those having riches shall enter into the kingdom of God! ²⁵ For it is easier for a camel to go in through a needle's eye than for a rich one to enter into the kingdom of God. ²⁶ And those hearing said, And who is able to be saved? ²⁷ But He said, The things impossible with men are possible with God.

⁷ And Herod the tetrarch heard all the things happening by Him, and was puzzled, because of the saying by some that John had been raised from the dead, ⁸ and by some that Elijah had appeared. And others said, A prophet of the ancients rose again. ⁹ And Herod said, I beheaded John, but who is this about whom I hear such things? And he sought to see Him.

²⁵ And who of you by being anxious is able to add one cubit to his stature?

⁸ And seeing Jesus, Herod greatly rejoiced, for he was wishing to see Him for a long time, because of hearing many things about Him. And he hoped to see some miracle being brought about by Him.

²¹ Then these came to Philip, the one from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we desire to see Jesus.

²⁷ And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as the sycamores that are in the low country, for abundance.

²⁸ And Baa-lhanan of Geder was over the olive trees and sycamore trees in the lowlands. And Joash was over the oil cellars.

⁴⁷ He killed their vines with hail, and their sycamore trees with sleet.

¹⁰ Bricks have fallen, but we will build with cut stones; the sycamores are cut down, but we will use cedars instead.

¹⁴ Then Amos answered and said to Amaziah: I was not a prophet, nor was I a prophet's son, but I was a herdsman and a gatherer from sycamore trees.

¹⁹ And not finding a way through which they might bring him in through the crowd, going up on the housetop, they let him down through the tiles with the cot, into the midst, in front of Jesus.

³ And he said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in Your sight, I beg You, do not leave from near Your servant. ⁴ Please allow a little water to be taken and You wash Your feet, and rest under the tree. ⁵ And I will bring a bite of bread and will sustain Your heart. Then You may pass on, for this is why You have passed over to Your servant. And they said, Do so, as you have said.

¹ And the two angels came into Sodom at evening. And Lot was sitting at the gate of Sodom. And Lot saw, and he rose up to meet them and bowed his face to the earth. ² And he said, Behold, now, my lords, please turn into your servant's house and lodge, and wash your feet; and rise early and go to your way. And they said, No, for we will lodge in the street. ³ And he much urged them, and they turned into him and came into his house. And he made a feast for them. And he baked unleavened cakes, and they ate.

² I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way; O when will You come to me? I will walk in the integrity of my heart in the midst of my house. ³ I will set no wicked thing before my eyes; I have hated the work of those who turn aside; it shall not fasten upon me.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, You have searched me and known me . ² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off. ³ You sift my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do it with your strength. For there is no work, or planning, or knowledge, or wisdom, in Sheol, there where you go.

⁶ And when I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you in your blood, Live! Yea, I said to you in your blood, Live!

¹⁰ For the Son of man came to seek and to save the one being lost.

⁴⁸ Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called, you being under the fig tree, I saw you.

⁷ A woman came out of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, Give Me some to drink. ⁸ For His disciples had gone away into the city that they might buy provisions. ⁹ Then the Samaritan woman said to Him, How do you, being a Jew, ask to drink from me, I being a Samaritan woman? For Jews do not associate with Samaritans. ¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who is the One saying to you, Give Me to drink, you would have asked Him, and He would give you living water.

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word, and My Father shall love him. And We will come to him and will make a dwelling place with him.

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

¹⁷ that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,

² Do not forget hospitality, for by this some unknowingly took in angels as guests.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

⁶ And Abraham ran into the tent to Sarah and said, Hurry, prepare three measures of fine meal, knead it and make cakes. ⁷ And Abraham ran to the herd and brought a son of the herd, tender and good, and gave it to a youth. And he hurried to prepare it .

⁵⁹ I mused on my ways and turned my feet to Your testimonies. ⁶⁰ I hurried and delayed not to keep Your commands.

⁵ You meet him who rejoices and works righteousness; they recall You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned. In I them is eternity, we shall be saved.

¹⁶ And hurrying, they came and sought out both Mariam and Joseph, and the babe lying in the manger.

²⁹ And Levi made a great feast for Him in his house. And there was a crowd of many tax collectors reclining, and of others who were with them.

⁴¹ Then those who gladly welcomed his words were baptized. And about three thousand souls were added that day.

¹⁵ And as she and her household were baptized, she entreated Paul, saying, If you have judged me to be believing in the Lord, entering into my house, remain. And she strongly urged us.

³⁴ And bringing them up to the house, he set a table before them, and exulted whole-housely, believing God.

¹⁵ But when God was pleased, "He having separated me from my mother's womb" and having called through His grace, Isa. 49:1 ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,

¹¹ And seeing, the Pharisees said to His disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?

²⁸ But what do you think? A man had two children, and coming to the first he said, Child, go today; work in my vineyard. ²⁹ And answering, he said, I will not. But afterward, feeling sorry, he went. ³⁰ And coming to the second, he said the same. And answering, he said, I go, sir; but he did not leave. ³¹ Which of the two did the will of the father? They said to Him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God.

³⁰ And their scribes and the Pharisees murmured at His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?

³⁴ The Son of man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a man, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.

³⁹ But seeing, the Pharisee who invited Him spoke within himself, saying, This one, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what the woman who touches him is; for she is a sinner.

² And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This one receives sinners and eats with them.

⁹ And He also spoke this parable to some of those relying on themselves, that they are righteous, and despising the rest: ¹⁰ Two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector. ¹¹ The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. ¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I get. ¹³ And standing at a distance, the tax collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner! ¹⁴ I say to you, this one went down to his house having been justified, rather than that one. For everyone exalting himself will be humbled. And the one humbling himself will be exalted.

¹⁶ You shall not testify a witness of falsehood against your neighbor.

¹ When a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it, or sells it, he shall pay five cattle for the ox, and four sheep for the sheep. ² If the thief is found breaking in, and is stricken and dies, no blood shall be shed for him. ³ If the sun has risen on him, blood is due for him; surely he shall repay. If he has nothing, then he should be sold for his theft. ⁴ If the stolen thing is surely found in his hand alive, from ox to ass to flock animal, he shall pay double.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ² If any person sins and is slyly treacherous against Jehovah, and deals falsely with his neighbor concerning a deposit, or concerning security, or by robbery, or has extorted his neighbor, ³ or has found a lost thing and has lied about it, and has sworn to a falsehoods regards to any one of all these which a man does, sinning in them, ⁴ then it shall be, when he sins and is guilty, he shall return what he got by robbery, that which he robbed, or the extorted thing which he extorted, or the deposit which had been deposited with him, or the lost thing which he had found; ⁵ or all that about which he swore falsely; he shall even repay it in its principal, and the fifth part he shall add to it; to whomever it belongs. He shall give it on the day of his guilt offering. ⁶ And he shall bring his guilt offering to Jehovah: a ram, a perfect one out of the flock, at your evaluation for a guilt offering, to the priest.

⁷ Then they shall confess their sin which they have done. And he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add its fifth to it, and shall give it to him against whom he has been guilty.

³ Behold, I am here! Testify against me before Jehovah and before His anointed: Whose ox have I taken, and whose ass have I taken, and whom have I offended? Whom have I abused, and from whose hand have I taken a bribe that I might hide my eyes with it; and I will give back to you.

⁶ And he shall repay fourfold for the ewe lamb, because he has done this thing, and because he had no pity.

¹ To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he who acts wisely toward the poor; Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.

³¹ But if he is found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the goods of his house.

⁸ Then bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say within yourselves, We have Abraham as father. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham out of these stones. ⁹ And also the axe is already laid to the root of the trees; therefore, every tree not producing good fruit is being cut down and being thrown into the fire. ¹⁰ And the crowd asked him, saying, What then shall we do? ¹¹ And answering, he said to them, The one that has two tunics, let him give to him that has not. And the one that has foods, let him do the same. ¹² And tax collectors also came to be baptized. And they said to him, Teacher, what shall we do? ¹³ And he said to them, Continue to do no more than that commanded to you. ¹⁴ And also ones serving as soldiers asked him, saying, And we, what shall we do? And he said to them, Do not shake violently anyone nor accuse falsely, and be satisfied with your pay.

¹³ And seeing her, the Lord felt pity over her and said to her, Stop weeping.

⁴¹ But give alms of the things which are within, and behold, all things are clean to you.

³³ Sell your possessions and give alms. Make for yourselves purses that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where a thief cannot come near, nor moth can corrupt.

⁹ And I say to you, Make to yourselves friends by the unrighteous mammon, that when it fails they may take you into the eternal dwellings.

²² And hearing these things, Jesus said to him, Yet one thing is lacking to you: sell all, as much as you have, and give to the poor; and you will have treasure in Heaven. And come, follow Me. ²³ But hearing these things, he became very much grieved, for he was exceedingly rich.

⁴⁴ And all the believers were together and had all things common. ⁴⁵ And they sold possessions and goods and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need. ⁴⁶ And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart,

³⁴ For neither was anyone needy among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses, selling them, they bore the value of the things being sold, ³⁵ and laid them at the feet of the apostles. And it was distributed to each according as any had need.

⁷ But even as you abound in everything, in faith, and in word, and in knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love in us, that you also should abound in this grace. ⁸ I do not speak according to command, but through the earnestness of others and testing the trueness of your love.

¹⁷ Charge the rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to set hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, He offering to us richly all things for enjoyment; ¹⁸ to do good, to be rich in good works, to be ready to share, generous,

¹⁰ and the rich one rejoice in his humiliation, because he will pass away like the flower of the grass. ¹¹ For the sun rose with the hot wind and dried up the grass, and its flower fell out, and the beauty of its appearance perished; so also the rich one will fade away in his ways. Isa. 40:6, 7

³⁰ because my eyes saw Your Salvation,

⁸ Then bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say within yourselves, We have Abraham as father. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham out of these stones.

¹⁶ And this one being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, eighteen years, ought she not to be freed from this bond on the sabbath day?

³⁰ And, behold, there are last ones who will be first, and there are first ones who will be last.

³⁸ I sent you to reap what you have not labored over. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor. ³⁹ And many of the Samaritans out of that city believed into Him, because of the word of the woman testifying, He told me all things, whatever I did. ⁴⁰ Then as the Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him to remain with them. And He remained there two days. ⁴¹ And many more believed through His word. ⁴² And they said to the woman, We no longer believe because of your saying; for we ourselves have heard, and we know that this One is truly the Savior of the world, the Christ.

³⁰ And leading them outside, he said, Sirs, what must I do that I may be saved? ³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. ³² And they spoke the Word of the Lord to him, and to all those in his house.

¹¹ And he received a sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of faith while in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be counted to them also, ¹² and a father of circumcision to those not of circumcision only, but also to those walking in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision.

¹⁶ On account of this, it is of faith, that it be according to grace, for the promise to be made sure to all the seed, not to that of the Law only, but also to that of the faith of Abraham, who is father of us all,

⁹ Or do you not know that unjust ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous ones, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor plunderers shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

⁷ Know, then, that those of faith, these are sons of Abraham.

¹⁴ that the blessing of Abraham might be to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

²⁹ And if you are of Christ, then you are a seed of Abraham, even heirs according to promise.

¹⁰ you who then were "not a people, but now are the people" of God; "the one not pitied then but now pitied." Hos. 1:6, 9 2:1, 23

¹⁶ I will seek the lost, and I will return the banished. And I will bind up the broken, and I will make the weak strong. But I will destroy the fat and the strong, I will feed them with judgment.

²¹ And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

¹² But Jesus hearing, He said to them, The ones who are strong have no need of a physician, but the ones who are sick. ¹³ But going, learn what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6

⁶ But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁴ But answering, He said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

¹⁰ See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in Heaven continually look on the face of My Father in Heaven.

³¹ And answering, Jesus said to them, Those who are sound have no need of a physician, but those who have illness. ³² I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

⁴ What man of you having a hundred sheep, and losing one of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the deserted place and go after the lost one until he finds it? ⁵ And finding it, he puts it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And coming to the house, he calls together the friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that had been lost. ⁷ I say to you that so is joy in Heaven over one sinner repenting, than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.

³² But to be merry and to rejoice was right, for this brother of yours was dead, and lived again; and being lost, also he was found.

⁶ for we yet being without strength, in due time Christ died for ungodly ones.

¹³ the one who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and insolent; but I received mercy, because being ignorant I did it in unbelief. ¹⁴ But the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ¹⁶ But for this reason I received mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for an example to those being about to believe on Him to everlasting life.

²⁵ From this also He is able to save to perfection those who come to God through Him, ever living to intercede on their behalf.

⁹ By this the love of God was revealed in us, because His Son, the Only begotten, God has sent into the world that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation relating to our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. ¹² No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love having been perfected is in us. ¹³ By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because of His Spirit He has given to us. ¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

²⁰ And being questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

⁶ Then, indeed, coming together they questioned Him, saying, Lord, do You restore the kingdom to Israel at this time?

¹ And, brothers, we entreat you, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together to Him, ² for you not to be quickly shaken in the mind, nor to be disturbed, neither through a spirit, nor through speech, nor through letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ has come. ³ Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because that Day will not come unless first comes the falling away, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

³⁸ But seeing the son, the vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and get hold of his inheritance.

¹⁴ For it is as if a man going abroad called his own slaves and delivered his goods to them. ¹⁵ And to one indeed he gave five talents, and to another, two, and to another, one, to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once. ¹⁶ And going, the one who received the five talents worked with them and made another five talents. ¹⁷ In the same way, the one with the two also did; he also gained another two. ¹⁸ But going away, the one who received the one dug in the earth and hid his lord's silver. ¹⁹ And after much time, the lord of those slaves came and took account with them. ²⁰ And coming up, the one who received five talents brought another five talents near, saying, Lord, you delivered five talents to me. Behold, I gained another five talents above them. ²¹ And his lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many. Enter into the joy of your lord. ²² And the one who received two talents also coming up, he said, Lord, you delivered two talents to me. Behold, I have gained two other talents above them. ²³ His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things, I will set you over many. Enter into the joy of your lord. ²⁴ And the one who received the one talent also coming up, he said, Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter; ²⁵ and being afraid, going away, I hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have yours. ²⁶ And answering, his lord said to him, Evil and slothful slave! You knew that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not I scatter. ²⁷ Then you ought to have put my silver to the bankers, and coming I would have received my own with interest. ²⁸ Therefore, take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. ²⁹ For to each who has, more will be given, and he will abound. But from him who does not have, even that which he has will be taken from him. ³⁰ And throw the worthless slave out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.

¹ And He began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard, and set a fence around it," and dug a winevat, "and built a tower." And he rented it to vinedressers and went away. Isa. 5:1, 2

³⁴ As a man going away, leaving his house, and giving his slaves authority, and to each his work (and he commanded the doorkeeper, that he watch), ³⁵ then you watch, for you do not know when the lord of the house is coming, at evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or early; ³⁶ so that he may not come suddenly and find you sleeping. ³⁷ And what I say to you, I say to all. Watch!

¹⁹ Then indeed, after speaking to them, the Lord was taken up into Heaven, and sat off the right of God. Psa. 110:1

¹² Then He said: A certain wellborn man went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and to return. ¹³ And calling ten of his slaves, He gave to them ten minas and said to them, Trade until I come. ¹⁴ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not desire this one to reign over us. ¹⁵ And it happened as he returned, having received the kingdom, he even said for those slaves to be called to him, those to whom he gave the silver, that he might know what each had gained by trading. ¹⁶ And the first came, saying, Lord, your mina has gained ten minas. ¹⁷ And he said to him, Well done, good slave! Because you were faithful in a least thing, have authority over ten cities. ¹⁸ And the second came, saying, Lord, your mina has made five minas. ¹⁹ And he said to this one also, And you be over five cities. ²⁰ And another came, saying, Lord, behold your mina which I had kept in a handkerchief. ²¹ For I feared you, because you are an exacting man, taking what you did not lay down, and reaping what you did not sow. ²² But he said to him, I will judge you out of your own mouth, wicked slave. You knew that I am an exacting man, taking what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow. ²³ And why did you not give my silver on the bank table? And coming, I might have exacted it with interest. ²⁴ And to those standing by, he said, Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas. ²⁵ And they said to him, Lord, he has ten minas. ²⁶ For I say to you, To everyone who has, it will be given. And from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. ²⁷ But these enemies of mine, those not desiring me to reign over them, bring them here and execute them before me.

⁹ And He began to speak this parable to the people: A certain man planted a vineyard and let it out to vinedressers. And he left the country for long periods of time . Isa. 5:1, 2

⁵¹ And it happened as He blessed them, He withdrew from them and was carried into Heaven.

³⁷ Then Pilate said to Him, Are you really a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I might witness to the Truth. Everyone being of the Truth hears My voice.

⁹ And saying these things, as they looked on, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him from their eyes. ¹⁰ And as they were intently looking into the heaven, He having gone, even behold, two men in white clothing stood by them, ¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking up to the heaven? This Jesus, the One being taken from you into the heaven, will come in the way you saw Him going into the heaven.

³¹ because He set a day in which "He is going to judge the habitable world in righteousness," by a Man whom He appointed; having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead. Psa. 9:8

²⁵ for it is right for Him to reign until He puts all the enemies under His feet; Psa. 110:1

²⁰ which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead; yea, He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, Psa. 110:1 ²¹ far above all principality, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name being named, not only in this age, but also in the coming age; ²² and He "put all things under His feet" and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, Psa. 8:6 ²³ which is His body: the fullness of Him filling all things in all;

⁹ Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus "every knee should bow," of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth, ¹¹ and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23

²⁸ so being once offered "to bear the sins of many," Christ shall appear a second time without sin to those expecting Him for salvation. Isa. 53:12

²² who going into Heaven is at the right of God, the angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to Him).

⁷ "Behold, He comes with the clouds," and "every eye will see Him, and the ones who pierced" Him, and all the tribes of the earth "will wail on account of Him." Yes, Amen. Dan. 7:13; Zech. 12:10

¹⁴ For it is as if a man going abroad called his own slaves and delivered his goods to them. ¹⁵ And to one indeed he gave five talents, and to another, two, and to another, one, to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

⁶ but having different gifts according to the grace given to us, whether prophecy, according to the proportion of faith; ⁷ or ministry, in the ministry; or the one teaching, in the teaching; ⁸ or the one exhorting, in the encouragement; the one sharing, in simplicity; the one taking the lead, in diligence; the one showing mercy, in cheerfulness.

⁷ And to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit. ⁸ For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; ⁹ and to another, faith by the same Spirit, and to another, gifts of healing by the same Spirit, ¹⁰ and to another, workings of powers, and to another, prophecy, and to another, discerning of spirits, and to another, kinds of languages, and to another, interpretation of languages. ¹¹ But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each as He wills.

²⁸ And God placed some in the church: firstly apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages. ²⁹ Are all apostles? All prophets? All teachers? All workers of power?

¹⁰ For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I would not be a slave of Christ.

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, greeting:

⁹ Be hospitable to one another without murmurings, ¹⁰ each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ¹¹ If anyone speaks, let it be as the words of God; if anyone ministers, as by strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom is the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

¹ Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

⁷ And Jehovah said to Samuel, Listen to the voice of the people, to all that they say to you. For they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them.

¹ Why have the nations raged and the peoples are meditating on vanity? ² The kings of the earth set themselves; yea, the rulers have plotted together against Jehovah and His anointed, saying, ³ We will break their bands in two, and throw off their cords from us.

⁷ So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to the despised of soul, to the hated of the nation, the servant of rulers, Kings shall see and rise up; and chiefs shall worship; because of Jehovah who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel; and He chose You.

⁸ I also cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul despised them, and their soul also detested Me.

²⁷ But these enemies of mine, those not desiring me to reign over them, bring them here and execute them before me.

¹¹ He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

¹⁸ If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it has hated you.

²³ The one hating Me also hates My Father. ²⁴ If I did not do the works among them which no other did, they had no sin. But now they both have seen and also have hated Me and My Father.

¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a man, a murderer, to be granted to you. ¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

²⁷ For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the nations and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together against Your holy child Jesus, whom You anointed, ²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your counsel before-determined to be done.

⁵¹ Oh stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and in the ears! You always fell against the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, you also did . ⁵² Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become betrayers and murderers,

⁴ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; Jehovah shall mock at them. ⁵ Then He will speak to them in His anger, and He will terrify them in His wrath; ⁶ Yea, I have set My king on My holy mount on Zion.

²³ For this reason the kingdom of Heaven has been compared to a man, a king, who decided to take account with his slaves. ²⁴ And when he began to reckon, one debtor of ten thousand talents was brought near to him. ²⁵ But he not having any to pay, the lord commanded him to be sold, also his wife and children, and all things, as much as he had, even to pay back. ²⁶ Then falling down, the slave bowed the knee to him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay all to you. ²⁷ And being filled with pity, the lord of that slave released him and forgave him the loan. ²⁸ But going out, that slave found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii. And seizing him, he choked him, saying, Pay me whatever you owe. ²⁹ Then falling down at his feet, his fellow slave begged him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay all to you. ³⁰ But he would not, but going away he threw him into prison until he pay back the amount owing. ³¹ But his fellow slaves, seeing the things happening, they were greatly grieved. And coming they reported to their lord all the things happening. ³² Then calling him near, his lord said to him, Wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt, since you begged me. ³³ Ought you not also to favor your fellow slave, as I also favored you? ³⁴ And being angry, his lord delivered him up to the tormentors until he pay back all that debt to him. ³⁵ So also My heavenly Father will do to you unless each of you from your hearts forgive his brother their trespasses.

¹⁹ And after much time, the lord of those slaves came and took account with them.

⁴⁸ But he not knowing, and doing things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few. And everyone given much, much will be demanded from him. And to whom much was deposited, more exceedingly they will ask of him.

² And calling him, he said to him, What is this I hear about you? Give the account of your stewardship, for you can no longer be steward. ³ And the steward said within himself, What shall I do, for my Lord is taking away the stewardship from me? I am not able to dig, and I am ashamed to beg. ⁴ I know what I will do, that when I am removed from the stewardship, they will receive me into their houses. ⁵ And calling to him each one of the debtors of his lord, he said to the first, How much do you owe my lord? ⁶ And he said, A hundred baths of oil. And he said to him, Take your statements and sitting quickly write fifty. ⁷ Then he said to another, And you, how much do you owe? And he said, a hundred cors of wheat. And he said to him, Take your statement and write eighty. ⁸ And the lord praised the unrighteous steward, because he acted prudently. For the sons of this age are more prudent than the sons of light themselves are in their generation. ⁹ And I say to you, Make to yourselves friends by the unrighteous mammon, that when it fails they may take you into the eternal dwellings. ¹⁰ He faithful in the least is also faithful in much. And he unrighteous in the least is also unrighteous in much. ¹¹ Then if you were not faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust the true to you? ¹² And if you were not faithful in that of another, who will give to you that which is yours? ¹³ No servant is able to serve two lords; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other; or he will cling to one, and he will despise the other. You are unable to serve God and mammon.

¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? Or why also do you despise your brother? For all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ. ¹¹ For it has been written, " As I live, says the Lord, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue confess to God." Isa. 49:18; 45:23 ¹² So then each one of us will give account concerning himself to God.

¹ Let a man think of us as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² And the rest, it is sought among stewards that one be found faithful. ³ But to me it is a small thing that I should be judged by you, or by a man's day. But neither do I judge myself. ⁴ For I know nothing of myself, but I have not been justified by this; but He judging me is the Lord. ⁵ Then do not judge anything before time, until the Lord comes, who will both shed light on the hidden things of darkness and will reveal the counsels of the hearts. And then praise will be to each one from God.

¹⁴ yea, for who am I, and who my people, that we should be able to offer willingly in this way? For all is of You, and we have given to You out of Your hand; ¹⁵ for we are strangers before You, and settlers, like all our fathers; our days on the land are like a shadow, and there is none abiding. ¹⁶ O Jehovah our God, all this store that we have prepared to build a house to You, for Your holy name, is out of Your hand, and all is of You.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me has not been without fruit, but I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

²⁸ whom we announce, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man full-grown in Christ Jesus, ²⁹ for which also I labor, struggling according to the working of Him who works in me in power.

⁷ I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. ⁸ For the rest, the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, and not only to me, but also to all the ones loving His appearance.

¹⁸ But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith out of my works. ¹⁹ You believe that God is one. You do well; even the demons believe and shudder. ²⁰ But are you willing to know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is dead? ²¹ Was not our father Abraham justified by works offering up his son Isaac on the altar? Gen. 22:9 ²² You see that faith worked with his works; and out of the works the faith was made perfected. ²³ And the Scripture was fulfilled, saying, "And Abraham believed God, and it was counted for righteousness to him;" and he was called, Friend of God. Gen. 15:6; Isa. 41:8 ²⁴ You see, then, that a man is justified out of works, and not out of faith only. ²⁵ But in the same way Rahab the harlot was also justified out of works, having received the messengers, and sending them out by another way. ²⁶ For as the body is dead apart from the spirit, so also faith is dead apart from works.

⁴ And Joseph fond favor in his sight, and served him. And he appointed him over his house, and he gave all he owned into his hand.

³⁰ So says Jehovah the God of Israel, I said indeed that your house and your father's house should walk before Me until forever. But now Jehovah says, Be it far from Me! For those who honor Me, I will honor; and those despising Me will be despicable.

²¹ And his lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many. Enter into the joy of your lord.

¹⁰ He faithful in the least is also faithful in much. And he unrighteous in the least is also unrighteous in much.

³⁰ that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁹ but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

⁵ Then do not judge anything before time, until the Lord comes, who will both shed light on the hidden things of darkness and will reveal the counsels of the hearts. And then praise will be to each one from God.

¹⁰ Because of this, I endure all things on account of the elect, that they also may obtain salvation in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory.

⁷ so that the proving of your faith, much more precious than perishing gold, but having been proved through fire, may be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

⁴ And at the appearing of the Chief Shepherd, you will receive the never fading crown of glory.

²⁶ And the one overcoming, and the one keeping My works until the end, "I will give to him authority over the nations," ²⁷ and "he will shepherd them with an iron staff" (they are "broken to pieces like clay vessels"), as I also have received from My Father. Psa. 2:8, 9 ²⁸ And I will give to him the morning star. ²⁹ The one who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

²³ But that sown on the good ground is this: the one hearing the Word, and understanding it, who indeed brings forth and produces fruit: one truly a hundredfold, and one sixty, and one thirty.

²⁰ And these are those being sown on the good ground, who hear and welcome the Word and bring forth fruit, one thirty, and one sixty, and one a hundredfold.

¹² For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

¹⁰ Say to the righteous that it is well; for they shall eat of the fruit of their doings.

⁸ So he planting and he watering are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

⁴¹ one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. ⁴² So also the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.

⁵⁸ So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

⁶ And this: the one sowing sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one sowing on hope of blessings will also reap on blessings.

⁸ Watch yourselves, that we may not lose the things we worked out, but that we may receive a full reward.

¹³ The lazy one says, A lion is in the way, a lion is between the streets! ¹⁴ As the door turns on its hinge, so the lazy one on his bed. ¹⁵ The lazy one buries his hand in the dish, he is weary to bring it back to his mouth. ¹⁶ The lazy one is wiser in his own eyes than seven that return a wise answer.

²⁴ And the one who received the one talent also coming up, he said, Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter;

⁹ And also the axe is already laid to the root of the trees; therefore, every tree not producing good fruit is being cut down and being thrown into the fire.

⁴⁶ And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say?

¹³ And calling ten of his slaves, He gave to them ten minas and said to them, Trade until I come.

¹⁷ Therefore, to anyone knowing to do good, and not doing it, it is sin to him.

¹⁹ And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. And let us not speak with God, that we not die. ²⁰ And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid, for God has come in order to test you, and so that His fear may be on your faces, that you may not sin.

¹⁹ And he struck among the men of Beth-shemesh, because they looked into the ark of Jehovah. Yea, He struck seventy among the people, including fifty chief men. And the people mourned because Jehovah destroyed among the people with a great destruction. ²⁰ And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? And to whom shall He go up from us? ²¹ And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath-jearim, saying, The Philistines have sent back the ark of Jehovah. Come down: take it up to you.

²⁰ And Samuel said to the people, Do not fear. You have done all this evil, only do not turn aside from following Jehovah, and serve Jehovah with all your heart.

⁹ And David feared Jehovah on that day, and said, How shall the ark of Jehovah come to me? ¹⁰ And David was not willing to bring the ark of Jehovah to himself, to the city of David. And David turned it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. ¹¹ And the ark of Jehovah remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months. And Jehovah blessed Obed-edom and all his house.

¹⁴ And they say to God, Depart from us, for we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways. ¹⁵ What is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what do we profit if we entreat Him?

²⁵ Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not fair. Hear now, O house of Israel. Is My way not fair? Are your ways not unfair? ²⁶ When a righteous one turns from his righteousness and does injustice and dies in them, he shall die for his injustice which he has done. ²⁷ And when the wicked turns from his wickedness that he has done and does justice and righteousness, he shall keep his soul alive. ²⁸ Because he considers and turns from all his transgressions that he has done, surely he shall live; he shall not die. ²⁹ But the house of Israel says, The way of the Lord is not fair. Are My ways not fair, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not fair?

¹⁴ You have said, It is vain to serve God. And, What profit is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked as mourners before Jehovah of hosts? ¹⁵ And now we are calling the arrogant blessed. Not only are the doers of wickedness built up, they also test God, and escape.

²⁴ And the one who received the one talent also coming up, he said, Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter; ²⁵ and being afraid, going away, I hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have yours.

⁷ because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither can it be .

¹⁵ For you did not receive a spirit of slavery again to fear, but you received a Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba! Father!

⁷ For God did not give a spirit of cowardice to us, but of power and of love, and of self-control.

¹⁰ For whoever shall keep all the law, but stumbles in one, he has become guilty of all.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment; and the one fearing has not been perfected in love.

¹⁵ "to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all" the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which :they ungodly" did, "and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him." I Enoch 1:9; 5:4; 60:8 ¹⁶ And David said to him, Your blood be on your own head, for your mouth has testified against you, saying, I put to death the anointed of Jehovah.

⁵ For your iniquity teaches your mouth; and you choose the tongue of the crafty. ⁶ Your mouth condemns you, and not I; yea, your own lips testify against you.

³⁷ For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

¹² And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here, not having a wedding garment? But he was speechless.

²⁶ And answering, his lord said to him, Evil and slothful slave! You knew that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not I scatter. ²⁷ Then you ought to have put my silver to the bankers, and coming I would have received my own with interest.

¹⁹ But we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those within the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.

²⁵ If you lend money to My people, the poor with you, you shall not be as a money-lender to him; you shall not put interest on him. ²⁶ If you indeed take the clothing of your neighbor as a pledge, you shall return it to him by the going of the sun, ²⁷ for that is his only covering, that is his covering for his skin. In what shall he lie down? And it shall be, when he cries to Me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

¹⁹ You shall not lend at interest to your brother; interest of silver, interest of food, interest of anything loaned at interest. ²⁰ You may lend to a stranger at interest, but you shall not lend at interest to your brother, so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go to possess it.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and the longsuffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up to yourself wrath in a day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God?

²⁰ But God said to him, Fool! This night they demand your soul from you; and that which you prepared, to whom will it be?

² And calling him, he said to him, What is this I hear about you? Give the account of your stewardship, for you can no longer be steward.

¹⁹ And this was yet but little in Your eyes, O Lord Jehovah. But You have spoken also of Your servant's house for a time afar off. And is this the law of men, O Lord Jehovah?

⁸ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says Jehovah. ⁹ For as the heavens are high from the earth, so My ways are high from your ways, and My thoughts from your thoughts.

²⁸ And Samuel said to him, Jehovah has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to your neighbor who is better than you.

¹⁵ But My mercy shall not be taken from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away from before you.

⁸ let his days be few; and let another take his office;

¹² Because they ministered to them before their idols, and became a stumbling-block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have lifted up My hand against them, declares the Lord Jehovah. And they shall bear their iniquity. ¹³ And they shall not come near to Me to serve as priest to Me, nor come near to any of My holy things, to the holiest of the holy things, but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have done. ¹⁴ But I will give them to be keepers of the charge of the house for all its service, and for all that shall be done in it. ¹⁵ But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister to Me. And they shall stand before Me to bring near to Me the fat and the blood, declares the Lord Jehovah. ¹⁶ They shall enter into My sanctuary, and they shall come near to My table, to minister to Me. And they shall keep My charge.

¹² For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have overabundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

⁴³ Because of this I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken from you, and it will be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it.

²⁸ Therefore, take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. ²⁹ For to each who has, more will be given, and he will abound. But from him who does not have, even that which he has will be taken from him.

²⁵ For whoever may have, more will be given to him; and the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

¹⁸ Then observe how you hear; for whoever may have, it will be given to him; and whoever may not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.

³ And the steward said within himself, What shall I do, for my Lord is taking away the stewardship from me? I am not able to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.

¹ After these things, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ² And at Jerusalem is a pool at the Sheep Gate which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. ³ In these was a great multitude of the infirm lying, blind ones, lame ones, withered ones, awaiting the stirring of the water.

²⁰ For it has been written in the scroll of Psalms, Let his estate become forsaken, and he not be living in it. And, "Let another take his overseership." LXX-Psa. 68:26; Psa. 108:8; MT-Psa. 69:25; Psa. 109:8

³ And I know you bore up and have patience and on account of My name you have labored and have not wearied,

¹¹ Behold, I am coming quickly. Hold what you have that no one take your crown.

³⁶ And the men whom Moses had sent to spy out the land, and who, when they returned, made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up an evil report against the land, ³⁷ even those men bringing up an evil report of the land died by the plague before Jehovah.

³⁰ And if Jehovah makes a new thing, and the ground opens her mouth and swallows them, and all that they have, and they go down alive to Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised Jehovah. ³¹ And it happened, as he made an end of speaking all these words, the ground which was under them split apart, ³² and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them, and their houses, and all the men who were for Korah, and all their possessions. ³³ And they went down, they and all that they had, alive to Sheol, and the earth covered over them; and they perished from the midst of the assembly. ³⁴ And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry; for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up. ³⁵ And fire came forth from Jehovah and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

³ We will break their bands in two, and throw off their cords from us. ⁴ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; Jehovah shall mock at them. ⁵ Then He will speak to them in His anger, and He will terrify them in His wrath;

⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

⁸ Your hand shall find out all Your enemies; Your right hand shall find out Your haters. ⁹ You shall set them as a fiery furnace in the time of Your presence; Jehovah will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire will devour them.

²² Let their table be a trap before them, and to those at ease a snare. ²³ Let their eyes be darkened from seeing, and cause their loins to quiver continually. ²⁴ Pour out Your wrath on them; and let the glow of Your anger overtake them. ²⁵ Let their home be made desolate; let no one dwell in their tents. ²⁶ For whom You have stricken, they have persecuted; and they gossip to the pain of those You pierced. ²⁷ Put iniquity to their iniquity, and do not let them enter into Your righteousness. ²⁸ Blot them out from the Book of Life; yea, let them not be written with the righteous.

⁶ A roaring sound from the city! A sound from the temple! It is the sound of Jehovah repaying retribution to His enemies.

¹⁴ And you will see, and your heart shall rejoice; and your bones shall flourish like the grass. And the hand of Jehovah shall be known toward His servants, and He shall be indignant with His enemies.

² God is jealous, and Jehovah is avenging, Jehovah is avenging and is a possessor of wrath. Jehovah takes vengeance against His foes, and He keeps wrath against His enemies.

⁸ But with a flood passing through, He will make a complete end of its place, and darkness shall pursue His enemies.

³⁷ And at last he sent his son to them, saying, They will have respect for my son. ³⁸ But seeing the son, the vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and get hold of his inheritance. ³⁹ And taking him, they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him . ⁴⁰ Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to these vinedressers? ⁴¹ They said to Him, Bad men! He will miserably destroy them, and he will rent out the vineyard to other vinedressers who will give to him the fruits in their seasons.

⁷ And hearing, the king became angry. And sending his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

³⁴ Because of this, behold, I send to you prophets and wise ones and scribes. And some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues and will persecute from city to city; ³⁵ so that should come on you all the righteous blood poured out on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Berechiah whom you murdered between the Holy Place and the altar. ³⁶ Truly I say to you, All these things will come on this generation.

¹⁴ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not desire this one to reign over us.

⁴² saying, If you had known, even you, even at least in this day of yours, the things for your peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes. ⁴³ For the days will come on you, and your enemies will raise up a rampart to you and will surround you and will keep you in on every side, ⁴⁴ and will tear you down, and your children in you, and will not leave a stone on a stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation.

¹⁶ He will come and will destroy these vinedressers and will give the vineyard to others. And hearing this, they said, Let it not be!

²² For these are days of vengeance when all things that have been written are to be fulfilled.

²⁴ And they will fall by the mouth of the sword and will be led captive to all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.

¹⁵ who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out, and not pleasing God, and being contrary to all men, ¹⁶ hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come on them to the uttermost.

¹³ from then on expecting "until His enemies are placed as a footstool" of His feet. Psa. 110:1

⁶ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; You have opened ears to Me. You have not asked burnt offering and sin offering. ⁷ Then I said, Lo, I come, in the roll of the Book it is written of Me; ⁸ I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your law is within My inmost soul .

³² And they were in the highway, going up to Jerusalem. And Jesus was going before them, and following they were astonished and were afraid. And taking the Twelve again, He began to tell them the things about to happen to Him: ³³ Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes. And they will condemn Him to death and will betray Him to the nations. ³⁴ And they will mock Him and will flog Him and will spit at Him, and will kill Him. And on the third day He will rise again.

⁵¹ And it happened in the fulfilling of the days of His taking up, even He set His face to go to Jerusalem.

⁵⁰ But I have a baptism to be immersed in, and how am I pressed until it is done!

³¹ And taking the Twelve, He said to them, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things will be fulfilled which have been written through the prophets to the Son of man.

¹¹ Then Jesus said to Peter, Put your sword into the sheath: the cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not at all drink it?

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

¹ Therefore, Christ having suffered for us in the flesh, also you arm yourselves with the same thought, that he suffering in the flesh has been made to rest from sin,

⁴ And His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall divide from its middle, from the east even to the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, toward the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, ² saying to them, Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find an ass tied, and a colt with her. Loosen them and lead them to Me. ³ And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, The Lord has need of them. And he will send them at once. ⁴ But all this happened that might be fulfilled that spoken by the prophet, saying: ⁵ "Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes to you, meek and mounted on an ass, even a colt, the son of an ass." Isa. 62:11; Zech. 9:9 ⁶ And the disciples, going and doing as Jesus ordered them, ⁷ they led the ass and the colt. And they put on them their garments, and set Him on them. ⁸ And most of the crowd spread their garments on the road. And others were cutting branches from the trees and were spreading them in the road. ⁹ And the crowd, the ones going before and the ones following, were crying out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! "Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord"! Hosanna in the highest! Psa. 118:25, 26 ¹⁰ And as He entered into Jerusalem, all the city was shaken, saying, Who is this? ¹¹ And the crowds said, This is Jesus, the Prophet, the one from Nazareth of Galilee.

¹⁷ And leaving them, He went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, toward the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples, ² and said to them, Go into the village opposite you. And going into it, at once you will find a colt tied, on which no one of men has sat. Untying it, bring it . ³ And if anyone says to you, Why do you do this? say, The Lord has need of it. And he will at once send it here. ⁴ And they departed and found the colt tied at the door outside, by the crossway; and they untied it. ⁵ And some of those standing there said to them, What are you doing, untying the colt? ⁶ And they said to them as Jesus commanded, and they let them go. ⁷ And they led the colt to Jesus. And they threw their garments on it, and He sat on it. ⁸ And many spread their garments on the highway, and others were cutting branches from the trees and were spreading them on the highway. ⁹ And those going before, and those following after, were crying out, saying, Hosanna! "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!" Psa. 118:25, 26 ¹⁰ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! ¹¹ And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple. And having looked around at all things, the hour already being late, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve.

³⁷ And as He was already drawing near to the descent of the Mount of Olives, all the multitude of the disciples began rejoicing, to praise God with a loud voice concerning all the works of power which they saw,

³⁷ And in the days, He was teaching in the temple. And going out in the nights, He lodged in the Mount of Olives.

³⁹ And going out, according to His custom, He went to the Mount of Olives; and His disciples also followed Him.

⁵⁰ He led them out as far as to Bethany. And lifting up His hands, He blessed them.

¹² On the morrow, coming to the Feast, hearing that Jesus is coming to Jerusalem, a great crowd ¹³ took palm branches and went out to a meeting with Him, and they were crying out, Hosanna! "Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord," the King of Israel! Psa. 118:26 ¹⁴ And finding an ass colt, Jesus sat on it, even as it had been written, ¹⁵ "Do not fear," "daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes" "sitting on" "the foal of an ass." Isa. 40:9; Zech. 9:9 ¹⁶ But His disciples did not know these things at the first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they recalled that these things had been written on Him, and that they did these things to Him.

¹² Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount being called Of Olive Grove, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath's journey away.

² As you go from me today even you will find two men by Rachel's tomb, in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah. And they will say to you, The she asses that you went to seek have been found. And, behold, your father has left off the matters of the she asses and is anxious for you, saying, What shall I do for my son? ³ And you will go on from there even further, and you will come to the great tree of Tabor. And you will find three men going up to God at Bethel, one carrying three kids, and one carrying three loaves of bread, and one carrying a skin of wine. ⁴ And they will ask you of your welfare and give to you two loaves of bread, and you will take them from their hand. ⁵ Afterward you will come to the hill of God where there is a fort of the Philistines. And it will happen as you come there to the city even you will meet a band of prophets going down from the high place; and before them will be a harp, and a tambourine, and a flute, and a lyre. And they will be prophesying. ⁶ And the Spirit of Jehovah will be powerful on you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be turned into another man. ⁷ And it will be, when these signs come to you, do for yourself what your hand finds, for God is with you. ⁸ And you will go before me to Gilgal. And, behold! I will come down to you to offer burnt offerings, to sacrifice peace offerings. You will wait seven days until I come to you and make known to you what you shall do. ⁹ And it happened when he turned his back to go from Samuel, God changed him with another heart. And all these signs came on that day.

³² And going, those having been sent found as He told them.

⁸ And He sent Peter and John, saying, Going, prepare for us the passover, that we may eat. ⁹ And they said to Him, Where do You desire that we prepare? ¹⁰ And He said to them, Behold, you going into the city, you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him into the house where he goes in. ¹¹ And you will say to the housemaster of that house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest room where I may eat the passover with My disciples? ¹² And that one will show you a large upper room which he has spread. Prepare there. ¹³ And going, they found as He had told them, and they prepared the passover.

²⁹ And now I have told you before it occurs, that when it shall occur you may believe.

¹ A Psalm of David. The earth is Jehovah's, and the fullness of it; the world, and those who live in it.

¹⁰ for every beast of the forest is Mine; the cattle on a thousand hills; ¹¹ I know all the birds of the mountains; and all moving in My fields are Mine; ¹² if I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and the fullness of it.

³⁶ The Word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, this One is Lord of all.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and victorious, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass.

³⁵ If He called those gods with whom the Word of God was, and the Scripture cannot be broken,

¹⁶ But His disciples did not know these things at the first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they recalled that these things had been written on Him, and that they did these things to Him.

⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich, He became poor for your sake, so that you might become rich by the poverty of that One.

¹³ And they hurried, and each man took his garment and put it under him on the bare steps, and blew with the ram's horn, and said, Jehu reigns!

⁷ they led the ass and the colt. And they put on them their garments, and set Him on them.

⁷ And they led the colt to Jesus. And they threw their garments on it, and He sat on it. ⁸ And many spread their garments on the highway, and others were cutting branches from the trees and were spreading them on the highway.

¹⁴ And finding an ass colt, Jesus sat on it, even as it had been written,

¹⁵ What then was your blessedness? For I testify to you that if you were able, plucking out your eyes, you would have given them to me. ¹⁶ So then did I become your enemy speaking truth to you?

⁸ And most of the crowd spread their garments on the road. And others were cutting branches from the trees and were spreading them in the road.

¹ Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to Jehovah, and spoke, saying, I will sing to Jehovah, for He is highly exalted. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea. ² My strength and song is Jah, and it happened, He was to me salvation; this is my God and I will glorify Him; the God of my father, and I will exalt Him. ³ Jehovah is a Man of war; Jehovah is His name. ⁴ He has cast Pharaoh's chariots and his army in the sea; and the choice ones of his officers are drowned in the Sea of Reeds, ⁵ the depths cover them; they have dropped into the depths like a stone. ⁶ Your right hand, O Jehovah, is glorious in power; O Jehovah, Your right dashes the enemy to pieces. ⁷ And in Your majesty's greatness You pull down those rising up against You; You send forth Your wrath; it consumes them like stubble. ⁸ And by the spirit of Your anger waters were heaped up; the running waters stood like a wall; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea. ⁹ The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be filled with them; I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them. ¹⁰ You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in mighty waters. ¹¹ Who is like You among the gods, O Jehovah? Who is like You, glorified in holiness, fearful in praises, O Worker of wonders? ¹² You stretched Your right hand; the earth swallowed them. ¹³ In Your mercy You led the people whom You redeemed; You guided in Your strength to Your holy dwelling. ¹⁴ Peoples heard; they tremble; trembling seized the dwellers of Philistia. ¹⁵ Then the chiefs of Edom were terrified; the leaders of Moab were seized by trembling; all the dwellers of Canaan were melted. ¹⁶ Terrors and dread fell on them; by the greatness of Your arm; they are silent as a stone, until Your people pass through, O Jehovah, until pass through the people whom You have bought. ¹⁷ You shall bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place You have made for Your dwelling place, O Jehovah; the sanctuary which Your hands have prepared, O Lord. ¹⁸ Jehovah reigns forever and ever!

¹ And Deborah and Barak, the son of Abinoam, sang on that day, saying: ² For the loosing of locks of hair in Israel; for the willing offering of the people, bless Jehovah! ³ Listen, O kings; give ear, O princes. I, even I, will sing to Jehovah; I will sing praise to Jehovah the God of Israel. ⁴ O Jehovah, when You went forth out of Seir, when You marched out of the fields of Edom the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped. Yea, the clouds dropped water. ⁵ The mountains quaked before the face of Jehovah, this Sinai quaked from before Jehovah the God of Israel. ⁶ In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways ceased, and those going in the paths traveled in byways. ⁷ The leaders ceased in Israel; they ceased until I, Deborah, arose; I arose as a mother in Israel. ⁸ They chose new gods; then war was at the gates! Neither a shield nor a spear was seen among forty thousand in Israel. ⁹ My heart was toward the lawgivers of Israel, who freely offered themselves among the people; bless Jehovah! ¹⁰ You that ride on white asses, you that sit on rich carpets, and you travelers on the way, sing out! ¹¹ Louder than the voice of the dividers between the watering places there, they shall tell of the righteous acts of Jehovah, the righteous acts of His leaders in Israel. Then the people of Jehovah went down to the gates. ¹² Awake, Awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, utter a song! Rise, Barak, and lead your captives captive, son of Abinoam. ¹³ Then He caused me to tread on the remnant of the noble ones of the people; Jehovah trod for me among the warriors. ¹⁴ Out of Ephraim they came, those whose root was against Amalek. After you, Benjamin, among your peoples; and out of Machir came down commanders; and out of Zebulun the ones that hold the staff of the scribe. ¹⁵ And my commanders in Issachar were with Deborah; as was Issachar, so was Barak. They were sent into the valley at his feet. Among the divisions of Reuben resolves of heart were great! ¹⁶ Why did you sit between the sheepfolds to hear the bleatings of flocks? At the divisions of Reuben searchings of heart were great! ¹⁷ Gilead remained beyond the Jordan; and why did Dan stay in ships? Asher sat at the shore by the water, and remained by his havens. ¹⁸ Zebulun, a people who despised his life, even to death; also Naphtali on the high places of the field. ¹⁹ Kings came; they fought; then the kings of Canaan fought in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of silver. ²⁰ The stars fought from the heavens; from their courses they fought with Sisera. ²¹ The Kishon torrent swept them away, the ancient river, the Kishon torrent. You trod my soul in strength. ²² Then did the hooves of horses beat, from the galloping, galloping of his mighty stallions. ²³ Curse Meroz, said the Angel of Jehovah; curse its inhabitants bitterly, because they did not come to the help of Jehovah, to the help of Jehovah against the warriors. ²⁴ Most blessed among women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite she is blessed among women in the tent. ²⁵ He asked for water; she gave him milk; in a lordly bowl she brought curd. ²⁶ She put her hand to the tent peg, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and she hammered Sisera; she smashed his head; she struck through and pierced his temple. ²⁷ Between her feet he bowed; he fell; he lay down. Between her feet he bowed; he fell! Where he bowed, there he fell down ruined. ²⁸ Through the window she looked out; yea, she cried out, the mother of Sisera, through the lattice; Why does his chariot delay to come? Why have the steps of his chariot tarried? ²⁹ The wise ones of her princesses answered her; yea, she returned her words to herself: ³⁰ Do they not find and divide the plunder? A womb, two wombs to each man's head; a plunder of dyed garments to Sisera, a plunder of embroidered dyed garments, two embroidered dyed garments for the necks of the plunder? ³¹ So all Your enemies shall perish, O Jehovah, and those who love Him shall be as the sun when it goes forth in its might. And the land had rest forty years.

² And David rose up and went, and all the people with him, from Baal-judah, to bring up the ark of God from there which is called by the Name, the Name of Jehovah of hosts, who dwells above the cherubs. ³ And they caused the ark of God to ride on a new cart, and took it from the house of Abinadab, which is in the hill. And Uzzah and Ahio the sons of Abinadab were leading the new cart. ⁴ And they took it from the house of Abinadab, which is in the hill, with the ark of God. And Ahio was going before the ark. ⁵ And David and all the house of Israel were dancing before Jehovah with all instruments of fir wood, with lyres and with harps, and with tambourines, and with sistra, and with cymbals. ⁶ And when they came to the threshing floor of Nachon, and Uzzah reached out to the ark of God, and took hold of it, for the oxen nearly upset it,

⁵⁵ and he stood and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying, ⁵⁶ Blessed be Jehovah who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; not one word of all His good word has fallen, which He spoke by the hand of His servant Moses.

²⁸ And all Israel was bringing up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and cymbals, sounding aloud with lyres and harps.

⁴ And he set before the ark of Jehovah ministers from the Levites, even to celebrate and to thank and to give praise to Jehovah the God of Israel: ⁵ Asaph the head, and Zechariah his second; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres; and Asaph was sounding with the cymbals. ⁶ And Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were continually with trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God. ⁷ Then on that day David first gave by the hand of Asaph and his brothers to give thanks to Jehovah.

²⁸ And all the congregation were bowing, and the singers singing, and the trumpeters blowing; all until the completion of the burnt offering. ²⁹ And at the completion of the offering the king and all those found with him bowed and worshiped. ³⁰ And Hezekiah the king and the leaders commanded the Levites to give praise to Jehovah in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer; and they praised with joy, and they bowed and worshiped.

³⁶ And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced, because God had given preparation to the people; for the thing had happened suddenly.

¹⁰ And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they made stand the priests in their robes with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals to praise Jehovah, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. ¹¹ And they sang, praising and giving thanks to Jehovah, because He is good, for His mercy endures forever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised Jehovah because the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid. ¹² But many of the priests and Levites, and heads of the fathers, the aged men who had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice. And many shouted aloud for joy, ¹³ So that the people could not tell the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of weeping of the people. For the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.

¹² Then they believed His words; they sang His praise. ¹³ They hurried and forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel;

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, toward the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

³ And as He was sitting in the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew questioned Him privately:

²⁶ And singing a hymn, they went to the Mount of Olives.

¹⁶ And fear took hold of all; and they glorified God, saying, A great prophet has risen up among us; and, God has visited His people.

⁴³ And instantly he saw again. And he followed Him, glorifying God. And seeing, all the people gave praise to God.

²⁰ And another came, saying, Lord, behold your mina which I had kept in a handkerchief.

¹² On the morrow, coming to the Feast, hearing that Jesus is coming to Jerusalem, a great crowd ¹³ took palm branches and went out to a meeting with Him, and they were crying out, Hosanna! "Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord," the King of Israel! Psa. 118:26

¹⁷ His name shall be forever; His name shall continue before the sun; and they shall bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed. ¹⁸ Blessed is Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful things. ¹⁹ And blessed is His glorious name forever; and the whole earth is filled with His glory! Amen and amen!

²² The Stone which the builders rejected has become the Head of the corner. ²³ This is from Jehovah, it is marvelous in our eyes. ²⁴ This is the day Jehovah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. ²⁵ O Jehovah, I beseech You, save now; I beseech You, O Jehovah, cause us to prosper now. ²⁶ Blessed is he who comes in the name of Jehovah; we blessed you from the house of Jehovah.

⁹ And the crowd, the ones going before and the ones following, were crying out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! "Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord"! Hosanna in the highest! Psa. 118:25, 26

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, the blessed of My Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

⁹ And those going before, and those following after, were crying out, saying, Hosanna! "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!" Psa. 118:25, 26 ¹⁰ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, Do not fear. For, behold, I announce good news to you, a great joy, which will be to all people, ¹¹ because today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, was born to you in the city of David. ¹² And this is a sign to you: You will find a babe having been wrapped, lying in the manger. ¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, ¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, good will among men.

³⁵ Behold, "your house is left" to you "desolate". Jer. 22:5 And truly I say to you, You shall not at all see Me until it come when you say, "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord." Psa. 118:26

¹ Then being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace in which He favored us in the One having been loved,

¹² for us to be to the praise of His glory, the ones who had previously trusted in Christ;

¹⁴ For He is our peace, He making us both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, ¹⁵ in His flesh causing to cease the enmity, the Law of the commandments in decrees, that He might in Himself create the two into one new man, making peace, ¹⁶ and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, slaying the enmity in Himself. ¹⁷ And coming, He proclaimed "peace to you, the ones afar off, and to the ones near." Isa. 57:19 ¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

¹⁰ so that now to the rulers and to the authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

²¹ to Him be the glory in the church in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age forever. Amen.

²⁰ and through Him making peace by the blood of His cross, to reconcile all things to Himself; through Him, whether the things on the earth, or the things in the heavens.

¹⁷ Now to the King eternal, incorruptible, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹² To whom it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us they ministered the same things, which now were announced to you by those having preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; into which things angels long to bow to look.

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, ¹⁰ and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth. ¹¹ And I saw, and I heard a sound of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders, and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, ¹² saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in Heaven, and in the earth, and underneath the earth, and the things that are on the sea, and the things in all of them, I heard saying: To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever. ¹⁴ And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped the One living forever and ever.

¹ And after these things, I heard a great voice of a numerous crowd in Heaven, saying, Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the honor and the power of the Lord our God! ² For true and righteous are His judgments, because He judged the great harlot who defiled the earth with her fornication. And He avenged the blood of His slaves out of her hand. ³ And secondly they said, Hallelujah! Also her smoke goes up forever and ever. ⁴ And the twenty four elders, and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God sitting on the throne, saying, Amen! Hallelujah! ⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all His slaves, and the ones fearing Him, the small and the great. ⁶ And I heard as a sound of a numerous crowd, and as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah! Because the Lord God Almighty reigned.

¹¹ Jehovah, Your hand is high; they do not see; they see, and are ashamed of the zeal of the people. Yea, the fire of Your foes devours them.

¹⁵ But the chief priests and the scribes, seeing the wonders which He did, and the children crying out in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, they were incensed. ¹⁶ And they said to Him, Do you hear what these say? And Jesus said to them, Yes. Did you never read, "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings You have perfected praise?" LXX-Psa. 8:3; MT-Psa. 8:2

¹³ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of Heaven before men; for you do not enter, nor do you allow those entering to go in.

⁴⁷ Then the chief priests and the Pharisees assembled a sanhedrin, and said, What are we doing, for this man does many miracles? ⁴⁸ If we let him alone this way, all will believe into him, and the Romans will come and will take away from us both the place and the nation.

¹⁰ But the chief priests took counsel that they might put Lazarus to death also,

¹⁹ Then the Pharisees said to themselves, Observe that you gain nothing. Behold, the world has gone after Him.

¹ And as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the temple commander, and the Sadducees stood near them, ² being distressed because they taught the people and announced in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

¹⁶ saying, What may we do to these men? For that a notable miracle indeed has occurred through them is plain to all those living in Jerusalem, and we are not able to deny it. ¹⁷ But that it may not be spread abroad further to the people, let us threaten them with a threat that they no longer speak on this name to any one of men. ¹⁸ And calling them, they ordered them not to speak at all, nor to teach on the name of Jesus.

⁵ Or do you think that vainly the Scripture says, The spirit which has dwelt in us yearns to envy? No OT passage

¹¹ Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and the fullness of it.

⁷ Let the sea roar, and the fullness of it; the world, and those who live in it. ⁸ Let the rivers clap their hands; let the heights shout for joy together ⁹ before Jehovah; for He comes to judge the earth; with righteousness He shall judge the world, and the peoples in uprightness.

¹ When Israel came out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; ² Judah became His sanctuary, Israel His kingdom. ³ The sea looked and fled; the Jordan turned back; ⁴ the mountains skipped like rams; the little hills like lambs! ⁵ What ails you, O sea, that you flee? O Jordan, that you turn back? ⁶ O mountains, that you skip like rams? O little hills, like lambs? ⁷ Tremble, O earth, from the face of the Lord, from the face of the God of Jacob; ⁸ who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

¹² For you shall go out with joy and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break out into song before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap the palm.

¹¹ For the stone shall cry out from the wall, and the beam shall answer it from the wood.

⁹ And do not think to say within yourselves, We have a father, Abraham. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

⁴⁵ And from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

⁵¹ And, behold, the veil of the Holy Place was torn into two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared! ⁵² And the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. ⁵³ And coming forth out of the tombs after His resurrection, they entered into the holy city and were revealed to many. ⁵⁴ But the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, seeing the earthquake and the things taking place, they feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this One was Son of God.

⁶ and covering the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah with ashes, He condemned them with an overthrow, setting an example to men intending to live ungodly.

⁵³ Hot zeal has seized me because of the wicked forsaking Your law.

¹³⁶ Rivers of waters run down my eyes for they do not keep Your law.

¹⁵⁸ I saw the traitors and was grieved, because they did not keep Your word.

¹ Oh, that my head were waters and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

¹⁷ But if you will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride. And my eye shall bitterly weep and run down with tears, because the flock of Jehovah was captured.

¹⁶ And I have not hurried away from shepherding after You, nor have I desired the woeful day. You surely know that the utterance of my lips was before Your face.

⁸ How shall I give you up, Ephraim? Shall I deliver you, Israel? How shall I make you like Admah? Shall I set you as Zeboim? My heart has turned within Me; My compassions are kindled together.

³⁴ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! The one killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her, how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it . ³⁵ Behold, "your house is left" to you "desolate". Jer. 22:5 And truly I say to you, You shall not at all see Me until it come when you say, "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord." Psa. 118:26

³⁵ Jesus wept.

² that my grief is great, and a never ceasing pain is in my heart, ³ for I myself was wishing to be a curse from Christ on behalf of my brothers, my kinsmen according to flesh,

²⁹ Oh that this heart of theirs would be like this always, to fear Me, and to keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them, and with their sons forever.

²⁹ If they were wise, they would understand this; they would consider their latter end.

⁶ On account of this let every godly one pray to You; at a time of finding, surely, when great floods come, they will not reach him.

¹³ Oh if My people had listened to me! If Israel had walked in My ways,

⁷ For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice, ⁸ do not harden your heart as in the day of strife, as in the day of testing in the wilderness;

⁹ And He said, Go and tell this people, Hearing you hear, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. ¹⁰ Make the heart of this people fat, and make his ears heavy, and shut his eyes, that he not see with his eyes, and hear with his ears, and understand with his heart, and turn back, and one heals him.

¹⁰ for Jehovah has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes. He has covered the prophets and your heads, the seers. ¹¹ And the whole vision to you is like the words of a sealed hook which they give to one knowing books, saying, Please read this. Then he says, I am not able, for it is sealed. ¹² And the hook is given to one who does not know books, saying, Please read this. Then he says, I do not know books. ¹³ And the Lord says, Because this people draws near with its mouth, and they honor Me with its lip; but its heart is far from Me, and their fear of Me is taught by the command of men; ¹⁴ So, behold, I am adding to do a wonders with this people, the wonder, even a wonder. For the wisdom of his wise ones shall perish, and the wit of his witty ones shall be hidden.

¹⁸ They do not know, nor discern; for He has smeared their eyes from seeing, their hearts from understanding.

¹⁸ Oh that you had listened to My commands! Then your peace would have been like the river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

⁶ Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.

³¹ Cast away all your transgressions from you by which you have transgressed in them, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die, O house of Israel? ³² For I do not have pleasure in the death of him who dies, declares the Lord Jehovah. So turn and live.

¹¹ Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, I do not have pleasure in the death of the wicked, except in the wicked turning from his way, and so to live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, O house of Israel?

¹⁴ And the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled on them, which says, "In hearing you will hear and in no way understand, and seeing you will see yet in no way perceive. ¹⁵ For the heart of this people has grown fat, and they heard sluggishly with the ears, and they have closed their eyes, that they not see with the eyes, or hear with the ears, and understand with the heart, and be converted, and I heal them." LXX-Isa. 6:9, 10

⁷⁷ to give a knowledge of salvation to His people by remission of their sins, ⁷⁸ through the tender bowels of mercy of our God, in which the Dayspring from on high will visit us, ⁷⁹ to appear to those sitting in darkness and in shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace. Isa. 9:2

⁵ And into whatever house you may enter, first say, Peace to this house. ⁶ And if a son of peace is truly there, your peace shall rest on it; but if not so, it shall return to you.

⁴⁴ and will tear you down, and your children in you, and will not leave a stone on a stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation.

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going. ³⁶ While you have the Light, believe into the Light, that you may become sons of Light. Jesus spoke these things, and going away He was hidden from them.

³⁸ so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1 ³⁹ Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10 ⁴¹ Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory, and spoke about Him.

⁴⁶ But speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, It was necessary for the Word of God to be spoken first to you; but since you indeed thrust it away and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the nations.

²⁵ And disagreeing with one another, they were let go, Paul saying one word: Well did the Holy Spirit speak through the prophet Isaiah to our fathers, ²⁶ saying, "Go to this people and say, You will surely hear, and not at all understand; and you will surely see, and not at all perceive; ²⁷ for the heart of this people was fattened, and they have heard with the ears heavily; and they closed their eyes lest at any time they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." Isa. 6:9, 10

⁷ What then? What Israel seeks, this it did not obtain, but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened; ⁸ even as it has been written, "God gave to them a spirit of slumber, eyes not seeing and ears not hearing" until this day. Isa. 29:10; Deut. 29:4 ⁹ And David said, "Let their table become for a snare and a trap, and for a stumbling block," and a repayment to them; ¹⁰ "let their eyes be darkened, not to see, and their back always bowing." LXX-68:23, 24; MT-Psa. 69:22, 23

¹⁴ But their thoughts were hardened, for until the present the same veil remains on the reading of the Old Covenant, not being unveiled, that it is being done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But until today, when Moses is being read, a veil lies on their heart. ¹⁶ But whenever it turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Ex. 34:34

³ But also if our gospel is being hidden, it has been hidden in those being lost, ⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain. ² For He says, "In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is the acceptable time! Behold, now is the day of salvation! Isa. 49:8

⁹ His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miracles and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved. ¹¹ And because of this, God will send to them a working of error, for them to believe the lie, ¹² that all may be judged, those not believing the truth, but who have delighted in unrighteousness.

⁷ Because of this, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear His voice,

¹³ But exhort yourselves each day, as long as it is being called today, that not any of you be hardened by the deceit of sin.

¹⁵ as in the saying, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation." LXX-Psa. 94:7, 8; MT-Psa. 95:7, 8

²⁶ For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and "zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries." Isa. 26:11 ²⁸ If anyone did not regard the Law of Moses, that one dies without pities on " the word of two or three witnesses." Deut. 17:6 ²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one trampling the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling speaking better things than that of Abel. ²⁵ Watch that you do not refuse the One speaking; for if these did not escape who refused Him who divinely warned them on earth, much rather we, those turning away from Heaven; ²⁶ whose voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once" "I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens." Hag. 2:6

⁴⁹ Jehovah shall raise a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you will not understand, ⁵⁰ a nation fierce of face, who will not regard the person of the aged, nor show favor to the young. ⁵¹ And he shall eat the fruit of your livestock, and the fruit of your land, until you are destroyed. He shall not leave to you grain, new wine, and oil, offspring of your oxen, or young ones of your flock, until he has destroyed you. ⁵² And he shall lay siege to you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls in which you are trusting come down, in all your land; yea, he shall lay siege to you in all your gates, in all your land which Jehovah your God has given to you. ⁵³ And you shall eat the fruit of your body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom Jehovah your God has given to you, in the siege, and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you. ⁵⁴ The man who is tender and very delicate among you, and his eye shall be evil against his brother, and against the wife of his bosom, and against the remnant of his sons which he has left; ⁵⁵ so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his sons that he shall eat, because he has nothing left to him in the siege, and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you in all your gates. ⁵⁶ The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not have ventured to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil against the husband of her bosom, and against her son, and against her daughter; ⁵⁷ and against her fetus which comes out from between her feet, even against her sons whom she shall bear. For she shall eat them in secret, for the lack of everything in the siege and in the anguish with which the enemy shall distress you within your gates. ⁵⁸ If you will not take heed to do all the words of this law written in this book, to fear this glorious and fearful Name, Jehovah your God,

¹² The wicked plots against the righteous, and gnashes on him with his teeth; ¹³ the Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.

¹ Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David camped. Add year on year; let feasts run their circle. ² Then I will compress Ariel, and there shall be mourning and sorrow; and it shall be to Me as Ariel. ³ And I will camp as a circle on you, and will lay siege work on you; and I will raise up ramparts on you. ⁴ And you shall be brought low; you shall speak from the ground; and your speech shall be bowed down; and your voice shall be from the ground, like a spiritist; and your speech shall chirp out of the dust.

³³ So Jehovah says this to the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with a shield, nor pour out a siege mound on it.

³ The shepherds with their flocks shall come to her; they shall pitch tents on her all around. They shall each one feed in his hand. ⁴ Consecrate war against her. Rise up and let us go up at noon. Woe to us, for the day wanes! For the shadows of the evening are stretched out. ⁵ Rise up and let us go up by night and destroy her palaces. ⁶ For so Jehovah of hosts has said, Cut down her trees and pour out a mound against Jerusalem. She is the city to be visited. In her midst is oppression, all of her.

² And lay a siege on it, and build a fort on it, and pour out a ramp on it. And place a camp on it, and set battering rams all around on it.

⁸ He shall kill your daughters in the field with the sword. And he shall give siege walls against you and pour out a mound against you, and raise a buckler against you.

²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end. ²⁷ And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on a wing of the altar will be abominations that desolate, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall pour out on the desolator.

³⁷ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those sent to her. How often I desired to gather your children in the way a bird gathers her chicks under her wings! And you did not desire it. ³⁸ Behold, "your house is left to you desolate." Jer. 22:5 ³⁹ For I say to you, In no way shall you see Me from now on, until you say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." Psa. 118:26

¹⁴ But when you see "the abomination of desolation," the one spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (he reading, let him understand), then let those in Judea flee into the mountains. Dan. 11:31; 12:11 ¹⁵ And he on the housetop, let him not go down into the house, nor go in to take anything out of his house. ¹⁶ And the one in the field, let him not return to the things behind to take his garment. ¹⁷ But woe to those with babe in womb, and to those giving suck in those days! ¹⁸ And pray that your flight will not be in winter; ¹⁹ for there will be affliction in those days, such as has not been the like from the beginning of creation which God created until now, and never will be. ²⁰ And if the Lord had not shortened the days, not any flesh would be saved; but because of the elect whom He chose, He has shortened the days.

²⁰ And when you see Jerusalem being encircled by armies, then recognize that its destruction has come near. ²¹ Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains; and those in its midst, let them go out. And those in the open spaces, let them not go into her. ²² For these are days of vengeance when all things that have been written are to be fulfilled. ²³ But woe to the pregnant women, and the ones suckling in those days; for great distress will be on the earth and wrath on this people. ²⁴ And they will fall by the mouth of the sword and will be led captive to all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.

⁷ then I shall cut off Israel from the face of the land that I have given to them, and the house that I have hallowed for My name I shall send away from My face, and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all peoples. ⁸ As to this house, which is high, everyone passing by it shall be astonished and shall hiss, and they shall say, Why has Jehovah done this to this land and to this house?

⁹ Blessed is he who seizes your little ones and dashes them against the stone!

⁸ Jerusalem has grievously sinned; on account of this, she has been removed. All the ones knowing her despise her, for they saw her nakedness. Also, she groans and turns backward.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

¹² Therefore, on account of you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house into high places of the forest.

³⁷ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those sent to her. How often I desired to gather your children in the way a bird gathers her chicks under her wings! And you did not desire it. ³⁸ Behold, "your house is left to you desolate." Jer. 22:5

² But Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, There will not at all be left one stone on a stone which in no way will not be thrown down.

² And answering, Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon a stone which shall not be thrown down.

⁶⁸ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He visited and worked redemption for His people.

⁷⁸ through the tender bowels of mercy of our God, in which the Dayspring from on high will visit us,

⁴² saying, If you had known, even you, even at least in this day of yours, the things for your peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes.

⁶ As to these things that you see, days will come in which a stone will not be left on a stone, which will not be thrown down.

¹⁸ The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God. ¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed. ²¹ But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

¹² having your behavior good among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers; by observing your good works, they may glorify God in a day of visitation.

²⁵ Then you shall give it for silver, and bind up the silver in your hand. And you shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose. ²⁶ And you shall pay the silver for whatever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for fermented drink, or for whatever your soul desires. And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice you and your household

¹² And Jesus entered into the temple of God and threw out all those selling and buying in the temple. And He overthrew the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves. ¹³ And He said to them, It has been written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer," but you have "made it a den of robbers." Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

¹⁵ And they came to Jerusalem. And entering into the temple, Jesus began to throw out those selling and buying in the temple; also He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves. ¹⁶ And He did not allow any to carry a vessel through the temple. ¹⁷ And He taught, saying to them, Has it not been written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations." "But you have made it a den of robbers."? Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

¹³ And the Passover of the Jews was near. And Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And He found those selling oxen and sheep and doves in the temple, and the money changers sitting. ¹⁵ And making a whip out of ropes, He threw all out of the temple, both the sheep, and the oxen, and the money changers, pouring out the money and overturning the tables. ¹⁶ And to the ones selling the doves, He said, Take these things from here! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise. ¹⁷ And His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal of Your house has consumed Me." Psa. 69:9

⁵ Your testimonies are very sure; holiness becomes Your house to length of days, O Jehovah.

⁷ even them I will bring to My holy mount and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on My altar, for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples,

¹¹ Has this house on which My name is called become a den of violent ones in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen, declares Jehovah.

¹² This is the law of the house: On the top of the mountain is all its border, all around, being most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

⁷ He is a merchant; the scales of deceit are in his hand; he loves to oppress.

²³ And He, coming into the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came near to Him as He was teaching, saying, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave this authority to you?

³ Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas. ⁴ And they plotted together in order that they might seize Jesus by guile and kill Him .

⁵⁵ In that hour, Jesus said to the crowds, Have you come out to take Me with swords and clubs, as against a robber? I sat with you daily teaching in the temple, and you did not lay hands on Me.

¹⁸ And the scribes and the chief priests heard. And they sought how they might destroy Him, for they feared Him, because all the crowd was astonished at His doctrine.

²⁷ And they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to Him. ²⁸ And they said to Him, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave you this authority that you do these things? ²⁹ And answering, Jesus said to them, I will also ask you one thing, and answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things: ³⁰ The baptism of John, was it from Heaven, or from men? Answer Me. ³¹ And they argued to themselves, saying, If we say, From Heaven, he will say, Why then did you not believe him? ³² But if we say, From men, they feared the people. For all held that John really was a prophet. ³³ And answering, they said to Jesus, We do not know. And answering, Jesus said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

¹² And they sought to seize Him, yet feared the crowd. For they knew that He spoke the parable against them. And leaving Him, they went away.

¹ And it was the Passover, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread after two days. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they might get hold of Him by guile, to kill Him .

³⁷ And in the days, He was teaching in the temple. And going out in the nights, He lodged in the Mount of Olives. ³⁸ And all the people came early to Him in the temple, to hear Him.

¹⁹ Has not Moses given you the Law, and not one of you does the Law? Why do you lust to kill Me?

⁴⁴ And some of them desired to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

³⁷ I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you. ³⁸ I speak what I have seen with My Father. And you therefore do what you have seen with your father. ³⁹ They answered and said to Him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said to them, If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham. ⁴⁰ But now you seek to kill Me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard alongside of God. Abraham did not do this.

³⁹ Then again they sought to seize Him. And He went forth out of their hand.

⁵³ Then from that day, they took counsel that they might kill Him. ⁵⁴ Then Jesus no longer walked publicly among the Jews, but went away from there into the country near a deserted place, to a city being called Ephraim, and stayed there with His disciples. ⁵⁵ And the Passover of the Jews was near. And many went up to Jerusalem out of the country before the Passover, that they might purify themselves. ⁵⁶ Then they sought Jesus, and said with one another, standing in the temple, What does it seem to you? That He does not at all come to the Feast? ⁵⁷ And all the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commands that if anyone knew where He is, he should inform so that they might seize Him.

²⁰ Jesus answered him, I publicly spoke to the world; I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple where the Jews always come together, and I spoke nothing in secret.

³ And he read in it before the plaza before the Water Gate, from the morning until noon, before the men and the women, and those who could understand. And the ears of all the people listened to the Book of the Law.

¹⁵ Then going, the Pharisees took counsel so as they might trap Him in words. ¹⁶ And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and it does not concern you about anyone, for you do not look to the face of men.

¹⁹ And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on Him in the same hour. And they feared the people, for they knew that He told this parable against them. ²⁰ And watching carefully, they sent spies, pretending themselves to be righteous, in order that they might seize upon a word of His, so as to deliver Him to the power and to the authority of the governor.

² And the chief priests and the scribes sought how to destroy Him; for they feared the people. ³ And Satan entered into Judas, the one having been called Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve. ⁴ And going, he talked with the chief priests and the commanders as to how he might betray Him.

⁴⁶ The officers answered, Never did a man so speak as does this man. ⁴⁷ Then the Pharisees answered them, Have you not also been deceived? ⁴⁸ Not any from the rulers or from the Pharisees believed into him? ⁴⁹ But not knowing the Law, this crowd is cursed.

¹⁴ And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple of the city of Thyatira, one reverencing God, listened, whose heart the Lord opened thoroughly to pay attention to the things being spoken by Paul.
