⁵ And going down to a city of Samaria, Philip proclaimed Christ to them.

⁵ Jesus sent these twelve out, charging them, saying: Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not go into a Samaritan city. ⁶ But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁵ The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming, the One called Christ. When that One comes, He will announce to us all things. ²⁶ Jesus said to her, I AM, the One speaking to you.

⁸ but you will receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

⁴² And every day they did not cease teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus the Christ in the temple, and house to house.

⁵ And the saying was pleasing before all the multitude. And they chose out Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,

¹ And Saul was consenting to the doing away of him. And in that day a great persecution took place on the church which was in Jerusalem; and all were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

¹⁴ And the apostles in Jerusalem hearing that Samaria had received the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, ¹⁵ who going down prayed concerning them so that they may receive the Holy Spirit.

³⁵ And opening his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, Philip announced the gospel to him, Jesus. ³⁶ And as they were going along the highway they came on some water. And the eunuch said, Behold, water! What prevents me from being baptized?

⁴⁰ And Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through he preached the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.

²⁰ And at once in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that this One is the Son of God.

² And according to Paul's custom, he went in to them and reasoned with them from the Scriptures on three sabbaths, ³ opening and setting forth that the Christ must have suffered, and to have risen from the dead, and that this is the Christ, Jesus, whom I announce to you.

⁸ And on the morrow, those around him going out, Paul came to Caesarea. And going into the house of Philip the evangelist, he being of the Seven, we stayed with him.

²³ we on the other hand preach Christ crucified (truly an offense to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks),

² For I decided not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ, and Him having been crucified.

¹¹ For no one is able to lay any other foundation beside the One having been laid, who is Jesus Christ.
