¹ Pursue love, and seek eagerly the spiritual things, but rather that you may prophesy.

²⁵ And Jehovah came down in the cloud and spoke to him, and took of the spirit which was on him, and put it on the seventy men of the elders. And it happened, as the spirit rested on them, that they prophesied, but they did not continue. ²⁶ And two of the men were left in the camp, the name of the one being Eldad, and the name of the second Medad; and the spirit rested on them, and they were among those written, but did not go out to the tabernacle And they prophesied in the camp. ²⁷ And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp. ²⁸ And Joshua the son of Nun, minister to Moses, of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, stop them. ²⁹ And Moses said to him, Are you jealous for my sake? Oh that all Jehovah's people were prophets, that Jehovah would put His spirit on them!

⁹ The way of the wicked is hateful to Jehovah, but He loves him who pursues righteousness.

²¹ He who pursues righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness and honor.

¹ Hear Me, pursuers of righteousness, seekers of Jehovah: Look to the rock from which you were cut, and to the hollow of the pit from which you were dug.

³⁰ What then shall we say? That the nations not following after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith;

⁶ but having different gifts according to the grace given to us, whether prophecy, according to the proportion of faith;

¹⁹ So then let us pursue the things of peace, and the things for building up one another.

¹ But concerning the spiritual things, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

³¹ But zealously strive after the better gifts. And yet I show you a way according to excellence:

¹³ And now faith, hope, and love, these three things remain; but the greatest of these is love.

³ But the one prophesying to men speaks for building up, and encouragement, and comfort. ⁴ The one speaking in a tongue builds himself up, but he prophesying builds up a church. ⁵ And I wish all of you to speak in languages, but rather that you may prophesy. For the one prophesying is greater than the one speaking in tongues, unless he interpret that the church may receive building up.

²⁴ But if all prophesy, and some unbeliever or one not instructed comes in, he is convicted by all, he is judged by all. ²⁵ And so the secrets of his heart become revealed; and so, falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is truly among you.

³⁷ If anyone thinks to be a prophet, or a spiritual one, let him recognize the things I write to you, that they are a command of the Lord.

³⁹ So then, brothers, seek eagerly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in languages.

¹⁴ Let all your things be in love.

³ Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies with Christ,

²⁰ Do not despise prophecies.

¹⁴ Do not be neglectful of the gift in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with laying on of the hands of the elderhood.

¹⁰ being witnessed by good works, if she brought up children, if she hosted strangers, if she washed the feet of the saints, if she relieved afflicted ones, if she followed after every good work.

¹¹ But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

²² But flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with the ones calling on the Lord out of a pure heart.

¹⁴ Eagerly pursue peace and holiness with all, without which no one will see the Lord,

¹¹ Let him turn aside from evil, and let him do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it; ¹² because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears open to their prayer. ⁷ and godliness with brotherly love; and brotherly love with love.

¹¹ Beloved, do not imitate the bad, but the good. The one doing good is of God; but the one doing bad has not seen God.
