¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, to the church of God being in Corinth, with all the saints being in all Achaia, ² Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions and God of all comfort, ⁴ the One comforting us on all our affliction, for us to be able to comfort those in every affliction, through the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God. ⁵ Because the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. ⁶ But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation; ⁷ and our hope for you is certain, knowing that even as you are sharers of the sufferings, so also of the comfort. ⁸ For, brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant as to our affliction having happened to us in Asia, that we were excessively pressed down beyond our power, so as for us even to despair of living. ⁹ But we ourselves have the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust on ourselves, but on God, the One raising the dead, ¹⁰ who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver; in whom we have hope that He will still deliver us, ¹¹ you also laboring together for us in prayer, that the gracious gift by many persons be the cause of thanksgiving through many for us. ¹² For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you. ¹³ For we do not write other things to you than what you read or even recognize; and I hope that you will recognize even to the end, ¹⁴ even as you also in part recognized us, that we are your glorying, even as also you are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus. ¹⁵ And in this confidence, I purposed to come to you before now, that you might have a second benefit, ¹⁶ and to go through you into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you and to be set forward by you to Judea. ¹⁷ Then purposing this, did I indeed use lightness? Or what I purposed, did I purpose according to flesh, that may be with me yes, yes, and no, no? ¹⁸ But God is faithful, that our word to you did not become yes and no. ¹⁹ For Jesus Christ the Son of God, the One proclaimed among you by us, through me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yes and no, but has been yes in Him. ²⁰ For as many promises as are of God, in Him they are yes, and in Him are Amen, for glory to God through us. ²¹ But He confirming us and anointing us with you in Christ is God, ²² even He having sealed us, and having given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. ²³ And I call God as witness to my soul that to spare you I came no more to Corinth. ²⁴ Not that we rule over your faith, but we are fellow-workers of your joy. For by faith you stand.

¹ And he arrived in Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple named Timothy was there, the son of a certain believing Jewish woman, but his father was a Greek.

¹ And after these things, departing from Athens, Paul came to Corinth. ² And finding a certain Jew named Aquila, of Pontus by race, having recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome, he came to them. ³ And because he was of the same trade, he lived and worked with them; for they were tentmakers by trade. ⁴ And he reasoned in the synagogue on every sabbath persuading both Jews and Greeks. ⁵ And when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was pressed by the Spirit, earnestly testifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ. ⁶ But they having resisted, and blaspheming, having shaken his garments, he said to them, Your blood be on your head. I am pure from it; from now on I will go to the nations. ⁷ And moving from there, he went into the house of one named Justus, one worshiping God, whose house was next door to the synagogue. ⁸ And Crispus, the synagogue ruler, believed the Lord along with all his house. And hearing, many of the Corinthians believed and were baptized. ⁹ And the Lord said to Paul through a vision in the night, Do not fear, but speak, and do not keep silence; ¹⁰ because I am with you, and no one shall set on you to oppress you; because there is much people to Me in this city. ¹¹ And he remained a year and six months teaching the Word of God among them. ¹² But Gallio being proconsul of Achaia, the Jews rushed against Paul with one passion and led him to the tribunal,

¹ Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated to the gospel of God, ² which He promised before through His prophets in holy Scriptures, ³ concerning His Son who came of the seed of David according to flesh, ⁴ who was marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord; ⁵ by whom we received grace and apostleship to obedience of faith among all the nations, for His name's sake,

²⁶ For Macedonia and Achaia thought it good to make certain gifts to the poor of the saints in Jerusalem.

⁵ And greet the church at their house, and my beloved Epenetus, who is a firstfruit of Achaia for Christ.

²¹ Timothy, my fellowworker, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, greet you.

¹ Paul, a called apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Sosthenes the brother, ² to the church of God which is in Corinth, those having been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called-out saints, with all those calling on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:

¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

³² Be without offense both to Jews and Greeks, and to the church of God.

¹⁰ But if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear; for he works the work of the Lord, even as I.

¹⁵ But I exhort you, brothers. You know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruit of Achaia, and they appointed themselves to ministry to the saints.

² For I know your eagerness, of which I boast to Macedonia on your behalf, that Achaia has made ready from last year, and your zeal arouses the greater number.

¹⁰ The truth of Christ is in me, that this boasting shall not be silenced in me in the regions of Achaia.

¹⁹ But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I may also be of good cheer, knowing the things about you. ²⁰ For I have no one like-minded, who genuinely will care for the things about you. ²¹ For all seek their own things, not the things of Christ Jesus. ²² But you know the proof of him, that as a child to a father, he served with me for the gospel.

⁷ So that you became examples to all those believing in Macedonia and Achaia. ⁸ For the Word of the Lord sounded out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that there is no need for us to have to say anything.

¹ Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of the elect of God and full knowledge of the truth according to godliness,

²³ You know the brother, Timothy, having been freed, with whom if I come sooner, I will see you.

²⁰ You came in yesterday and today. Should I make you go with us, to go while I go, where I go? Turn back and take your brothers with you in kindness and truth.

¹⁸ And the Spirit enwrapped Amasai, the head of the thirty: To you, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse, peace! Peace to you, and peace to your helpers, for your God has helped you. And David received them, and put them among the heads of the band.

¹ Nebuchadnezzar the king to all the peoples, the nations, and the tongues that dwell in all the earth: Your peace be multiplied.

⁷ to all those who are in Rome, beloved of God, called-out saints, Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

³ Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them and on the Israel of God.

²⁰ and blessed be the most high God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him a tithe of all.

¹⁰ And David blessed Jehovah before the eyes of all the congregation; and David said, Blessed are You, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, our father, for ever and ever.

⁵ Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah said, Stand up! Bless Jehovah your God forever and ever. And blessed be the Name of Your Glory, even He being exalted above all blessing and praise.

²¹ And he said, I came naked out of my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there. Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away. Blessed be the name of Jehovah.

⁴⁶ Jehovah lives! And blessed be my Rock! And let the God of my salvation be exalted!

¹⁹ And blessed is His glorious name forever; and the whole earth is filled with His glory! Amen and amen!

⁵ For You, O Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all who call on You.

¹⁵ But You, O God, are God, full of pity; and gracious, longsuffering and rich in mercy and truth.

³⁴ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to the heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High. And I praised and honored Him who lives forever, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His rule from generation to generation.

⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and pardons, for we have rebelled against Him.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in grace.

²² For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, ²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

³⁰ I and the Father are one!

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God, and your God.

⁵ And may the God of patience and encouragement give to you to mind the same thing among one another according to Christ Jesus, ⁶ that with one accord and with one mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

³¹ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ knows, He who is blessed forever, that I am not lying.

³ Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies with Christ,

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him,

¹¹ and "every tongue should confess" that Jesus Christ is "Lord," to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He according to His great mercy having regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ I rejoiced greatly because I found your children walking in truth, as we received command from the Father.

⁹ Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. The one abiding in the doctrine of Christ, this one has the Father and the Son.

⁵ I confessed my sin to You, and I have not hidden my iniquity; I said, I will confess over my transgression to Jehovah; and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

⁷ You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

² My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah; the humble shall hear and be glad. ³ O magnify Jehovah with me; and let us exalt His name together. ⁴ I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, and delivered me out of all my fear. ⁵ They looked to Him and were filled with light; and their faces were not ashamed. ⁶ This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard, and saved him out of all his troubles.

¹⁶ Come, hear, and let me tell, all you who fear God, what He has done for my soul.

¹⁷ Show me a token for good, that those who hate me may see and be ashamed, O Jehovah, because You have helped me and comforted me.

¹ And in that day you shall say, O Jehovah, I will thank You. Though You were angry with me, turn away Your anger and You shall comfort me.

¹ Comfort, O comfort My people, says your God.

¹⁰ They shall not hunger nor thirst; and the heat and sun shall not strike them. For He who has mercy on them shall lead them; and He shall guide them by the springs of water.

³ For Jehovah comforts Zion. He comforts all her desolations, and He makes her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of singing praise.

¹² I, I am He comforting you. Who are you, that you should fear from man? He shall die! And from the son of man? He is given as grass.

⁹ Break out, sing together, waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah comforts His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.

¹² For so says Jehovah: Behold, I stretch out peace to her like a river, and glory of nations like an overflowing torrent. And You shall suck; you shall be carried on the side and be dandled on knees. ¹³ As a man whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And you will see, and your heart shall rejoice; and your bones shall flourish like the grass. And the hand of Jehovah shall be known toward His servants, and He shall be indignant with His enemies.

¹⁶ And I will petition the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may remain with you forever,

¹⁸ I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you.

²⁶ but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and shall remind you of all things that I said to you.

⁵ Because the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. ⁶ But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation;

⁶ But He who comforts the lowly comforted us by the presence of Titus. ⁷ And not only by his presence, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted over you, telling us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me, so as for me to rejoice more.

¹³ For this reason we have been comforted in your comfort, and we rather rejoice more abundantly over the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

¹⁴ And the most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident in my bonds, more exceedingly dare to speak the word fearlessly.

¹⁸ So, then, comfort each other with these words.

¹¹ Therefore, encourage one another, and build up one another, as you indeed do.

¹⁶ But may our Lord Himself, Jesus Christ, and our God and Father, He who loves and gives us everlasting encouragement and good hope by grace, ¹⁷ encourage your hearts, and may He establish you in every good word and work.

¹² Because of this, "straighten the hands" hanging alongside, "and the enfeebled knees;"

²⁵ And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was righteous and devout, eagerly expecting the Consolation of Israel. And the Holy Spirit was upon him.

⁴ And falling on the earth he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute Me?

¹⁰ We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we not honored. ¹¹ Until the present hour we also hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander homeless, ¹² and labor, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; persecuted, we bear; ¹³ defamed, we entreat. we have become as filth of the world, dirt wiped off by all until now.

¹⁰ always bearing about the dying of the Lord Jesus in the body, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are always being delivered up to death on account of Jesus, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh;

²³ Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself.) I being beyond them : in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times. ²⁴ Five times I received forty stripes minus one from the Jews. ²⁵ I was flogged three times; I was stoned once; I was shipwrecked three times; I have spent a night and a day in the deep. ²⁶ I have been in travels often, in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my race, in dangers from the nations, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the desert, in dangers on the sea, in dangers among false brothers, ²⁷ in hardship and toil, often in watchings, in hunger and thirst, often in fastings, in cold and nakedness, ²⁸ besides the things outside conspiring against me day by day, the care of all the churches. ²⁹ Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I do not burn? ³⁰ If it is right to boast, I will boast of the things of my infirmity.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but as always in all boldness even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.

¹ Then if there is any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tendernesses and compassions,

¹⁰ to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, having been conformed to His death,

²⁴ who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf and fill up in my flesh the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ on behalf of His body, which is the church,

⁵ But when it was time for us to complete the days, going out, we traveled. And they, with all the women and children went with us as far as outside the city. And placing the knees on the shore, we prayed.

³ And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction works out patience, ⁴ and patience works out proven character; and proven character, hope. ⁵ And the hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us;

²⁸ But we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose;

²¹ So let no one glory in men; for all things are yours, ²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours, ²³ and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

⁴ the One comforting us on all our affliction, for us to be able to comfort those in every affliction, through the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God.

¹⁵ For all things are for your sake, that the super abounding grace may be made to abound through the thanksgiving of the greater number, to the glory of God. ¹⁶ Because of this, we do not faint, but if indeed our outward man is being decayed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. ¹⁷ For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us an eternal weight of glory, surpassing moment by surpassing moment; ¹⁸ we not considering the things seen, but the things not being seen; for the things being seen are not lasting, but the things not being seen are everlasting.

⁵ And He having worked in us for this same thing is God, who also is giving us the earnest of the Spirit.

¹⁵ But I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls, even if loving you more and more, I am loved the less.

¹³ Therefore, I ask you not to faint at my troubles on your behalf, which is your glory.

¹⁹ For I know that this will result in deliverance to me through your petition and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, Job 13:16

¹⁰ Because of this, I endure all things on account of the elect, that they also may obtain salvation in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory.

¹⁰ For they truly disciplined us for a few days according to the thing seeming good to them; but He for our profit, in order for us to partake of His holiness. ¹¹ And all discipline for the present indeed does not seem to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it gives back peaceable fruit of righteousness to the ones having been exercised by it.

¹¹ Blessed are you when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and shall say every evil word against you, lying, on account of Me. ¹² Rejoice and leap for joy, for your reward is great in Heaven; for in this way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

²⁸ But you are those continuing with Me in My temptation. ²⁹ And I appoint a kingdom to you, as My Father appointed to Me, ³⁰ that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

¹⁷ And if children, also heirs; truly heirs of God, and joint-heirs of Christ, if indeed we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together. ¹⁸ For I calculate that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to compare to the coming glory to be revealed in us.

¹³ No temptation has taken you except what is human; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able. But with the temptation, He will also make the way out, so that you may be able to bear it .

¹⁴ even as you also in part recognized us, that we are your glorying, even as also you are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

⁹ Now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved according to God, that you might suffer loss in nothing by us.

²⁰ For I fear lest somehow coming I not find you as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish; lest somehow there be strifes, envyings, angers, rivalries, evil speakings, whisperings, proud thoughts, disturbances;

⁶ being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Jesus Christ; ⁷ as it is righteous for me to think this of you all because you have me in your heart, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you are all sharers of the grace with me.

³ remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love, and the patience of hope of our Lord Jesus Christ before our God and Father, ⁴ knowing brothers, beloved by God, your election.

⁴ so as for us to boast ourselves in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions, and the afflictions which you endure, ⁵ a clear token of the just judgment of God, for you to be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed suffer; ⁶ since it is a just thing with God to pay back tribulation to the ones troubling you, ⁷ and to give you, those being troubled, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power,

¹² if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, that One will deny us;

² My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials, ³ knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. ⁴ But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to the ones loving Him.

³ And David again swore and said, Your father has certainly known that I have found favor in your eyes; and he said, Do not let Jonathan know this, that he not be grieved. And yet, as Jehovah lives, and your soul lives, there is only a step between me and death.

¹ And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul. Nothing is better for me than that I speedily escape to the land of the Philistines. And Saul will despair of me, to still seek me in all the border of Israel. And I shall escape out of his hand.

²³ And about that time there was no little disturbance about the Way. ²⁴ For a certain silversmith named Demetrius was making silver shrines of Artemis, providing no little trade for the craftsmen. ²⁵ And assembling the workmen about such things, he said, Men, you understand that from this trade is our wealth. ²⁶ And you see and hear that not only Ephesus, but almost all of Asia, persuading, this Paul perverted a huge crowd, saying that those being made by hands are not gods. ²⁷ And not only is this dangerous to us, lest our part come to be in contempt, but also the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be counted nothing, and her majesty is also about to be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships. ²⁸ And hearing, and having become full of anger, they cried out, saying, Great is Artemis of the Ephesians! ²⁹ And all the city was filled with confusion. And they rushed with one passion into the theater, keeping a firm grip on Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, traveling companions of Paul. ³⁰ And Paul intending to go in to the mob, the disciples did not allow him. ³¹ And also some of the Asiarchs, being his friends, sending to him begged him not to give himself into the theater. ³² Then others indeed cried out a different thing, for the assembly was confused, and the majority did not know on what account they came together. ³³ But they dragged Alexander forward out of the crowd, the Jews thrusting him in front. And waving his hand, Alexander desired to defend himself to the mob. ³⁴ But knowing that he is a Jew, one voice was from all, as they were crying out over two hours, Great is Artemis of the Ephesians! ³⁵ And quieting the crowd, the town clerk said, Men, Ephesians, for what man is there who does not know the city of the Ephesians to be temple keepers of the great goddess Artemis, and of That Fallen From the Sky?

⁸ You are already satisfied; you already became rich; you reigned without us (and oh that you really did reign, so that we also might reign with you!)

³² If according to man I fought with beasts in Ephesus, what the profit to me if the dead are not raised? ("Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.") Isa. 22:13

⁹ For a door opened to me, great and effective, and many are opposing.

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us; ⁸ in every way being troubled, but not having been hemmed in; having been perplexed, but not utterly at a loss; ⁹ being persecuted, but not having been forsaken; being thrown down, but not having been destroyed; ¹⁰ always bearing about the dying of the Lord Jesus in the body, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are always being delivered up to death on account of Jesus, that also the life of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh; ¹² so that death indeed works in us, and life in you.

¹⁴ Then I also will confess to you that your right hand can save you.

²⁹ All the fat ones of the earth have eaten, and have worshiped; all those going down to the dust shall bow before Him; and he kept not his own soul alive.

⁵ Through You we will push our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. ⁶ For I will not trust in my bow, and my sword shall not save me. ⁷ But You have saved us from our adversaries and have put to shame those who hate us.

²⁶ He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom shall be delivered.

²³ So says Jehovah, Do not let the wise glory in his wisdom, and do not let the mighty glory in his might. Do not let the rich glory in his riches. ²⁴ But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Jehovah, doing kindness, justice and righteousness in the earth; for I delight in these, says Jehovah.

⁵ So says Jehovah, Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and who makes flesh his arm, and who turns aside his heart from Jehovah. ⁶ For he shall be like a juniper in the desert, and shall not see when good comes. But he shall live in parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land that is not inhabited. ⁷ Blessed is the man who trusts in Jehovah, and Jehovah is his trust.

¹³ Though I say to the righteous, He shall surely live, yet he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, all his righteousness shall not be remembered; but he shall die for his iniquity which he has done.

¹ The hand of Jehovah was on me. And He brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. ² And He made me pass among them all around. And, behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And, behold! They were very dry. ³ And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I said, O Lord Jehovah, You know. ⁴ And He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah: ⁵ So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live,; ⁶ and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah. ⁷ So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And, behold, a shaking! And the bones drew near, a bone to its bone. ⁸ And I watched. And, behold! The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin spread over them from above. But there was no breath in them. ⁹ Then He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit. Prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain ones, that they may live. ¹⁰ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them. And they lived and stood on their feet, a very great army. ¹¹ Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is perished; we are cut off to ourselves. ¹² So prophesy and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, O My people, and I will bring you to the land of Israel. ¹³ And you shall know that I am Jehovah when I have opened your graves and have brought you up out of your graves, O My people. ¹⁴ And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live; and I will put you on your own land. And you shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken and have done it, says Jehovah.

⁹ And He also spoke this parable to some of those relying on themselves, that they are righteous, and despising the rest:

¹⁷ according as it has been written, "I have appointed you a father of many nations;" before God, whom he believed, the One making the dead live, and calling the things that are not as if they were. Gen. 17:5 ¹⁸ He against hope believed in hope, for him to become a father of many nations, according to what has been said, "So shall your seed be." Gen. 15:5 ¹⁹ And being about a hundred years old, not weakening in faith, he did not consider his body to have died already, nor yet the death of Sarah's womb, ²⁰ and did not stagger by unbelief at the promise of God, but was empowered by faith, giving glory to God, ²¹ and being fully persuaded that what He has promised, He is also able to do. ²² Because of this, "it was also counted to him for righteousness." Gen. 15:6 ²³ But it was not written for him only, that it was counted to him, ²⁴ but also on account of us, to whom it is about to be counted, to the ones believing on Him who has raised our Lord Jesus from the dead, ²⁵ who was delivered because our offenses and was raised because of our justification.

⁵ not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reason out anything as out of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God,

¹³ But having the same spirit of faith, according to what has been written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak, LXX-Psa. 115:1; MT-Psa. 116:10 ¹⁴ knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up through Jesus, and will present us with you.

⁷ And by surpassing revelations, that I not be made haughty, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, that he might buffet me, that I not be made haughty. ⁸ Beyond this I entreated the Lord three times, that it depart from me. ⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me. ¹⁰ Because of this, I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in dire needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I may be weak, then I am powerful.

¹⁹ reckoning that God was able to raise even from the dead; from where indeed he obtained him in a parable.

¹² And Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, Jehovah has helped us until now.

³⁷ And David said, Jehovah, who has delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He shall deliver me from the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and Jehovah be with you.

¹⁷ Behold, blessed is the man whom God corrects; and despise not the chastisement of the Almighty. ¹⁸ For He wounds, and He binds up. He shatters, and His hands heal. ¹⁹ He will deliver you in six troubles; yea, in seven no evil shall touch you. ²⁰ In famine He will redeem you from death; and in war from the hand of the sword. ²¹ You shall be hidden from the whip of the tongue; and you shall not be afraid of violence when it comes. ²² You shall laugh at violence and at famine; and you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

¹⁹ Many are the evils of the righteous, but Jehovah helps him out of them all,

³ Listen to me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel; who are borne from the belly, who are lifted from the womb:

²¹ Because of these things, having seized me in the temple, the Jews tried to kill me .

³¹ that I be delivered from the disobedient ones in Judea, and that my ministry, which is to Jerusalem, may be acceptable to the saints,

¹⁰ for to this we also labor and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is deliverer of all men, especially of believers.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood with me and gave me power, that through me the preaching might be fulfilled, and all the nations might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

⁹ But the Lord knows to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unjust for a day of judgment, being punished,

⁴ It may be Jehovah your God will hear the words of the chief of the cupbearers whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and rebuke against the words which Jehovah your God has heard. And you shall lift up prayer for the remnant that is found.

⁶ I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem. All the day and all the night they shall not always be silent; you who remember Jehovah, do not let a pause be to you. ⁷ And give no pause to Him until He sets up and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

⁵ Then Peter was indeed kept in the prison, but fervent prayer was made by the church to God on his behalf.

³⁰ But I exhort you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, ³¹ that I be delivered from the disobedient ones in Judea, and that my ministry, which is to Jerusalem, may be acceptable to the saints, ³² that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and that I may be refreshed with you.

¹⁵ For all things are for your sake, that the super abounding grace may be made to abound through the thanksgiving of the greater number, to the glory of God.

¹¹ in everything you being enriched to all generosity, which works out thanksgiving to God through us. ¹² Because the ministry of this service is not only making up the things lacking of the saints, but also multiplying through many thanksgivings to God,

¹⁴ and in their prayer for you, a longing after you, because of the overflowing grace of God on you.

¹⁸ through all prayer and petition, praying at every time in the Spirit, and watching to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints. ¹⁹ Pray also for me, that to me may be given speech in the opening of my mouth with boldness to make known the mystery of the gospel,

³ praying together about us also, that God may open to us a door of the Word, to speak the mystery of Christ, on account of which I also have been bound,

²⁵ Brothers, pray concerning us.

¹ For the rest, brothers, pray concerning us, that the Word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also it has with you,

²² But at once prepare lodging for me; for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you.

¹⁸ Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, in all things wishing to behave well.

¹⁶ Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous one has great strength, having been made effective. ¹⁷ Elijah was a man of like feeling to us, and he prayed in prayer for it not to rain; and it did not rain on the earth three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to sprout.

¹⁴ Now, then, fear Jehovah, and serve Him in sincerity and truth, and turn away from the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, and in Egypt; and you serve Jehovah.

¹⁵ Behold, He will cut me off; I will not wait, but I will justify my ways before His face.

¹⁰ But He knows the way with me. When I am tried, I shall come forth as gold. ¹¹ My foot has held fast in His steps; I have kept His way and have not turned; ¹² nor have I departed from the command of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

⁵ Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die, I shall not retract my integrity from me. ⁶ I hold fast by my righteousness, and I will not abandon it; my heart shall not shame me any of my days.

¹ I made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I look intently on a virgin? ² For what is the portion from God above? And what is the legacy from the Almighty on high? ³ Is it not disaster to the perverse, and calamity to the workers of iniquity? ⁴ Does He not see my ways and count all my steps? ⁵ If I have walked with vanity, or my foot has hurried to deceit, ⁶ let me be weighed in a just balance so that God may know my integrity. ⁷ If my step has turned aside out of the way, or my heart has walked after my eyes, and if any blot has held fast to my hands, ⁸ let me sow, and let another eat; and let my harvests be rooted out. ⁹ If my heart has been enticed by a woman; or I have laid wait at my neighbor's door, ¹⁰ let my wife grind to another, and let others crouch over her. ¹¹ For that would be an evil scheme, and is iniquity for judges. ¹² For it is a fire that devours to the Place of Ruin, and it would root up all my gain. ¹³ If I despised the cause of my male slave or my slave-girl when they contended with me, ¹⁴ what then shall I do when God rises up? And when He calls me to account, what shall I answer Him? ¹⁵ Did not He who made me in the belly make him? And did not One shape us in the womb? ¹⁶ If I have withheld from the desire of the poor, or I have caused the widow's eyes to fail, ¹⁷ or have eaten my bit alone, and the orphan has not eaten it, ¹⁸ for from my youth he grew up with me as with a father, and from my mother's womb I guided her. ¹⁹ If I have seen any perish for lack of clothing, or there was no covering for the needy; ²⁰ if his loins have not blessed me, and he warmed himself with the fleece of my flock; ²¹ if I have lifted up my hand against the orphan, when I watched over my help in the gate; ²² let my shoulder fall from the back, and let my arm be broken from the elbow. ²³ for trouble from God is a terror to me, and I could not do the thing because of His majesty. ²⁴ If I have made gold my hope or have called fine gold my trust; ²⁵ if I rejoiced because my wealth was great; or because my hand had gotten much; ²⁶ if I looked to the light when it shone, or the moon marching in splendor, ²⁷ and my heart was secretly enticed. or my mouth has kissed my hand; ²⁸ this also would be an iniquity for the judges; for I would have denied God above. ²⁹ If I rejoiced at the ruin of my enemy, and I was excited when evil found him; ³⁰ also I have not allowed my mouth to sin by asking his life with a curse; ³¹ if the men of my tent did not say, Who can find one not being satisfied from his meat, ³² the stranger did not sleep in the street, for I opened my doors to the traveler; ³³ if I covered my transgressions like Adam, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom, ³⁴ then let me fear before a great multitude, and let the scorn of families frighten me and I will be silent, and not go out the door. ³⁵ Oh that I had one to hear me! See, my mark! Let the Almighty answer me, and let my Accuser write an indictment. ³⁶ Surely I would carry it on my shoulder, and bind it like crowns to me. ³⁷ I would tell Him the number of my steps. Like a prince I would go near Him. ³⁸ If my land cries out against me, or its furrows weep together; ³⁹ if I have eaten its strength without silver, or have caused its owner to expire; ⁴⁰ let thorns come forth instead of wheat, and a weed instead of barley. The words of Job are finished.

³ O Jehovah, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands: ⁴ if I have repaid evil to my friend or I have plundered my vexer without cause, ⁵ let the enemy pursue and overtake my soul; yea, trample down my life to earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.

¹⁷ All this has come upon us, and we have not forgotten You nor dealt falsely with Your covenant. ¹⁸ Our heart has not turned back, and our steps have not swerved from Your way, ¹⁹ though You have crushed us in the place of jackals and covered us over with the death-shade. ²⁰ If we have forgotten the name of our God, and have spread our hands to an alien god, ²¹ shall not God search out this? For He knows the secrets of the heart.

³ and said, O Jehovah, I beg You to remember now that I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart; and I have done the good in Your eyes. And Hezekiah wept with a great weeping.

¹ And looking on the sanhedrin, Paul said, Men, brothers, I in all good conscience have conducted myself toward God to this day.

¹⁶ And in this I exercise myself to have always a blameless conscience toward God and men.

¹ I tell the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit,

¹⁸ For such ones do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth speaking and flattering they deceive the hearts of those without guile. ¹⁹ For your obedience reached to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. But I desire you to be truly wise as to good, but simple toward evil.

⁴ And my word and my preaching was not in moving words of human wisdom, but in proof of the Spirit and of power, ⁵ that your faith might not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

¹³ Which things we also speak, not in words taught in human wisdom, but in words taught of the Holy Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things .

⁴ For I know nothing of myself, but I have not been justified by this; but He judging me is the Lord.

⁸ So let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and of evil, but with unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me has not been without fruit, but I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

¹⁷ Then purposing this, did I indeed use lightness? Or what I purposed, did I purpose according to flesh, that may be with me yes, yes, and no, no?

¹⁷ For we are not as the many, hawking the Word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God. We speak in Christ, in the sight of God.

² But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but by the revelation of the truth commending ourselves to every conscience of men before God.

⁸ I do not speak according to command, but through the earnestness of others and testing the trueness of your love.

² but I ask, not being present, that I may be bold with the confidence which I think to be daring against some, those having thought of us as walking according to flesh. ³ For walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh; ⁴ for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God in order to pull down strongholds,

³ But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is due to Christ.

¹⁵ But I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls, even if loving you more and more, I am loved the less. ¹⁶ But let it be so, I did not burden you; but being crafty, I caught you with bait. ¹⁷ By any whom I have sent to you, did I overreach you by him? ¹⁸ I begged Titus and sent the brother with him . Did Titus overreach you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps? ¹⁹ Again, do you think we are defending to you? We speak before God in Christ, but in all things for your building up, beloved.

⁴ But let each one prove his work, and then he alone will have a boast in himself and not as to another.

¹⁴ Then stand firm, "having girded your loins about with truth" and having put "on the breastplate of righteousness," Isa. 11:5; 59:17

¹⁰ for you to distinguish the things that differ, that you may be sincere and without blame for the day of Christ,

¹⁰ You and God are witnesses how holily and righteously and blamelessly we were to you, those believing;

⁵ but the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and faith not pretended,

¹⁹ having faith and a good conscience, which some having thrust away, made shipwreck concerning the faith, ²⁰ of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan, that they may be taught not to blaspheme.

⁷ having shown yourself a pattern of good works about all things in doctrine, in purity, sensibleness, incorruption,

¹³ Who is wise and knowing among you? Let him show his works by his good behavior, in meekness of wisdom. ¹⁴ But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. ¹⁵ This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, beastly, devilish. ¹⁶ For where jealousy and contention are, there is confusion and every foul deed. ¹⁷ But the wisdom from above is firstly truly pure, then peaceable, forbearing, yielding, full of mercy and of good fruits, not partial and not pretended. ¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for the ones making peace.

⁶ But He gives greater grace. Because of this it says, "God sets Himself against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones." Prov. 3:34

¹⁶ having a good conscience, that while they speak against you as evildoers, they may be shamed, those falsely accusing your good behavior in Christ.

²¹ Which figure now also saves us, baptism (not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

¹⁹ And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall persuade our hearts before Him, ²⁰ that if our heart accuses us, we know that God is greater than our heart and knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence with God. ²² And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and we do the things pleasing before Him.

¹¹ Then knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, and we have been manifest to God; and I also hope to have been manifest in your consciences.

⁶ And I hope you will know that we are not reprobates.

⁶ so that the fellowship of your faith may operate in a full knowledge of every good thing in you for Jesus Christ.

²⁵ For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be wise within yourselves, that hardness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the nations comes in;

⁸ who also will confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ Indeed, first, I hear divisions to be among you when you come together in the church. And I believe some part.

³¹ Day by day I die, by your boasting, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵ But if anyone has grieved, he has not grieved me, but in part, that I not overbear all of you.

¹² For we do not again commend ourselves to you, but are giving you occasion of glorying on our behalf, that you may have it toward those boasting in appearance and not in heart.

⁶ being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Jesus Christ;

²⁶ so that your glorying may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.

¹⁶ holding up a word of life, for a boast to me in the day of Christ, that I ran not in vain, nor labored in vain.

¹ So as, my brothers, ones loved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, beloved ones.

¹⁹ For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are you not even to be before our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? ²⁰ For you are our glory and joy.

¹³ in order to establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and our Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

²³ And may the God of peace Himself fully sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹¹ For I long to see you, that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, for the establishing of you;

²⁹ And I know that I will come to you in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ when I come.

¹⁹ But if the Lord wills, I will come to you shortly. And I will not know the word of those who have been puffed up, but the power.

³⁴ But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, that you may not come together for judgment. And the other things I will set in order whenever I come.

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

²⁵ And being persuaded of this, I know that I will remain and will continue with you all for your advancement and joy of faith, ²⁶ so that your glorying may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.

²¹ And when these things were fulfilled, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, Paul purposed in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have come there, I must also see Rome. ²² And sending into Macedonia two who ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus, he stayed a time in Asia.

⁵ But I will come to you when I go through Macedonia. For I am going through Macedonia. ⁶ And possibly I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, that you may set me forward wherever I may go. ⁷ For I do not desire to see you now in passage, but I am hoping to remain some time with you, if the Lord permits.

⁴ And they gave to him seventy silverlings out of the house of Baal-berith. And Abimelech hired worthless and reckless men with them; and they went after him.

³² Jehovah says, Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, and tell them, and cause My people to go astray by their lies, and by their frivolity. Yet I did not send them nor command them. And they will not profit this people at all, says Jehovah.

⁴ Her prophets are proud, men of deceit; her priests have profaned the sanctuary; they have done violence to the Law.

³⁷ But let your word be Yes, yes; No, no. For whatever is more than these is from evil.

¹⁵ You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

¹² For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

¹⁸ But God is faithful, that our word to you did not become yes and no. ¹⁹ For Jesus Christ the Son of God, the One proclaimed among you by us, through me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yes and no, but has been yes in Him. ²⁰ For as many promises as are of God, in Him they are yes, and in Him are Amen, for glory to God through us.

² but I ask, not being present, that I may be bold with the confidence which I think to be daring against some, those having thought of us as walking according to flesh. ³ For walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh;

¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,

² And I went up according to revelation. And I put before them the gospel which I proclaim in the nations, but privately to the ones seeming to be pillars, lest I run, or I ran, into vanity.

¹⁸ Because of this, we desired to come to you, truly I, Paul, both once and twice; but Satan hindered us.

¹² But before all things, my brothers, do not swear, neither by the heaven, nor by the earth, nor any other oath. But let your yes be yes, and the no, no, that you may not fall under judgment.

²⁸ Then teaching, Jesus cried out in the temple, even saying, You both know Me, and you know from where I am. And I have not come from Myself, but He sending Me is true, whom you do not know.

²⁶ I have many things to say and to judge concerning you; but the One sending Me is true, and what I heard from Him, these things I say to the world.

⁹ God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

²³ And I call God as witness to my soul that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write: These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having "the key of David," "the One opening, and no one shuts; and shuts, and no one opens:" Isa. 22:22

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of Laodicea, write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God:

¹⁴ And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, you shall say this to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

⁷ I will declare concerning the statute of Jehovah: He said to Me, You are My Son. Today I have begotten You.

¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

¹⁶ And answering, Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. ¹⁷ And answering, Jesus said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15

³⁵ The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will never ever pass away.

⁶³ But Jesus kept silent. And answering, the high priest said to Him, I adjure you by the living God that you tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God. ⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You said it . I tell you more. From this time you shall see the Son of man sitting off the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of the heavens. Psa. 110:1; LXX-Dan. 7:13

⁴⁰ and saying, You destroying the Holy Place and building it in three days, if you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.

⁵⁴ But the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, seeing the earthquake and the things taking place, they feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this One was Son of God.

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

³⁵ And answering, the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, and for this reason that Holy One being born of you will be called Son of God.

³⁴ And I have seen and have witnessed that this One is the Son of God.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. ³⁶ The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham came into being, I AM.

⁷ Then the Jews answered him, We have a law, and according to our Law he ought to die because he made himself Son of God!

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!

³¹ But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

³⁶ And as they were going along the highway they came on some water. And the eunuch said, Behold, water! What prevents me from being baptized?

²⁰ And at once in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that this One is the Son of God.

²² Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with all the church, to send chosen men from them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, Judas having been surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers,

⁵ And when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was pressed by the Spirit, earnestly testifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

³ concerning His Son who came of the seed of David according to flesh, ⁴ who was marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;

¹¹ They will vanish away, but You will continue; and they will all become old, like a garment,

⁸ Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever.

¹⁷ For receiving honor and glory from God the Father such a voice being borne to Him from the magnificent glory, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I was well pleased," Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Matt. 17:5

³ We announce to you what we have seen, and what we have heard, that you also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; because this is the witness of God which He has witnessed about His Son: ¹⁰ The one believing in the Son of God has the witness in himself. The one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning His Son. ¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son. ¹² The one having the Son has life. The one not having the Son of God does not have life. ¹³ I wrote these things to you, the ones believing in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.

¹¹ saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven churches of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

¹⁸ And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write: These things says the Son of God, the One having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass:

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

¹⁸ And in your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because you have obeyed My voice.

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him.

¹⁷ His name shall be forever; His name shall continue before the sun; and they shall bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed.

¹⁶ When Jehovah shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory.

¹⁴ So, The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. ⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

¹⁶ He who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth. And he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former distresses are forgotten; and because they are hidden from My eyes.

¹³ And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory to the ages. Amen.

⁶⁸ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He visited and worked redemption for His people. ⁶⁹ And He raised up a Horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David; ⁷⁰ even as He spoke through the mouth of His holy prophets from the age before : ⁷¹ Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all those hating us, ⁷² to execute mercy with our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant, ⁷³ the oath which He swore to our father Abraham, ⁷⁴ to give to us, that we being delivered out of our enemies' hand, in order to serve Him without fear,

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, good will among men.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.

⁶ Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

²⁵ You are sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God appointed to our fathers, saying to Abraham, "Even in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Gen. 22:18 ²⁶ Having raised up His child Jesus, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each one from your iniquities.

³² And we preach the gospel to you, the promise made to the fathers, ³³ that this God has fulfilled to us, their children, raising up Jesus; as also it has been written in the second Psalm, "You are My Son, today I have begotten You." Psa. 2:7 ³⁴ And that He raised Him from the dead, no more being about to return to corruption, so He has said, "I will give You" "the holy things of faithful David." Isa. 55:3 ³⁵ So He also said in another, "You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption." LXX-Psa. 15:10; MT-Psa. 16:10 ³⁶ For having served his own generation by the counsel of God, David truly fell asleep and was added to his fathers and saw corruption. 1 Kg. 2:10 ³⁷ But He whom God raised up, this One did not see corruption. ³⁸ Then let it be known to you, men, brothers, that through this One remission of sin is announced to you. ³⁹ And everyone believing in this One is justified from all things which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³⁶ Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

⁷ Because of this, receive one another as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. ⁸ And I say, Jesus Christ has become a minister of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises of the fathers, ⁹ and for the nations to glorify God for mercy, even as it has been written, "Because of this I will confess to You in the nations, and I will give praise to Your name." Psa. 18:49

¹⁶ Else, if you bless in the spirit, the one occupying the place of the unlearned, how will he say the amen at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you say?

⁶ Because it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine," who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

¹⁶ But the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed (it does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," which is Christ). Gen. 12:7, 13:15; 17:7, 8; 24:7 ¹⁷ And I say this, A covenant having been ratified before to Christ by God, the Law coming into being four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul the promise, so as to abolish it . ¹⁸ For if the inheritance is of law, it is no more of promise; but God has given it to Abraham through promise.

²² But the Scripture locked up all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to the ones believing.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace in which He favored us in the One having been loved,

¹² for us to be to the praise of His glory, the ones who had previously trusted in Christ; ¹³ in whom also you, hearing the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also believing you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴ who is an earnest of our inheritance, to the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

⁷ that He might show in the coming ages the exceeding great riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

⁸ This grace was given to me, less than the least of all the saints, to proclaim the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations, ⁹ and to bring to light all, what is the fellowship of the mystery having been hidden from eternity in God, the One creating all things through Jesus Christ, ¹⁰ so that now to the rulers and to the authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

¹⁰ when He comes to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all those who believe in that Day, because our testimony to you was believed.

¹² that you not become dull, but imitators of those who through faith and longsuffering are inheriting the promises. ¹³ For God having made promise to Abraham, since He had no greater to swear by, " He swore by Himself," ¹⁴ saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." Gen. 22:16, 17 ¹⁵ And so, being long-suffering, he obtained the promise. ¹⁶ For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath to make things sure is to them the end of all gainsaying. ¹⁷ In which way, desiring to more fully declare to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His counsel, God interposed by an oath, ¹⁸ that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, those having fled to lay hold on the hope set before us, ¹⁹ which we have as an anchor of the soul, both certain and sure, and entering into the inner side of the veil, Lev. 16:12

⁶ but he not counting his genealogy from them has tithed Abraham, and has blessed the one having the promises.

¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed. ¹¹ But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² nor through the blood of goats and of calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holy of Holies, having procured everlasting redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies to the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God), will purify your conscience from dead works for the serving of the living God! ¹⁵ And because of this He is Mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having occurred for redemption of transgressions under the first covenant, those having been called out might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.

¹³ These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having embraced and confessed that they are aliens and tenants.

³⁹ And having obtained witness through the faith, these all did not obtain the promise, ⁴⁰ God having foreseen something better concerning us, that they should not be perfected apart from us.

¹² To whom it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us they ministered the same things, which now were announced to you by those having preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; into which things angels long to bow to look.

²⁴ Then what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you will abide both in the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life.

¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

¹² saying, Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength to our God forever and ever. Amen.

²³ The steps of a man are ordered from Jehovah, and He will delight in his way. ²⁴ Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah upholds his hand.

⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness; on account of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your fellows.

⁵ And it shall be said to Zion, This man and that man was born in her; and the Highest Himself shall establish her.

⁴ I will establish Your seed forever, and build up Your throne to all generations. Selah.

⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁸ So says Jehovah: In a favorable time I have answered You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You. And I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people; to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolated inheritances;

²¹ As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah: My Spirit who is on you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your seed, or out of the mouth of your seed's seed, from now on and forever, says Jehovah.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones;

⁷ And give no pause to Him until He sets up and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

³⁴ For the One whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

⁹ But you are not in flesh, but in Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, this one is not His.

²⁵ Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclaiming of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept unvoiced during eternal times,

⁷ having been rooted and built up in Him, and having been confirmed in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. ⁸ And then "the Lawless One" will be revealed, "whom" "the Lord" "will consume" "by the spirit of His mouth," and He will bring to nought by the brightness of His presence. Isa. 11:4

¹⁷ encourage your hearts, and may He establish you in every good word and work.

³ But the Lord is faithful who will establish and will guard you from the evil.

¹⁰ Now the God of all grace, the One calling you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, He Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you .

²⁰ And you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

²⁷ And the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him.

⁶ and made us kings and priests to God, even His Father. To Him is the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ I advise you to buy from Me gold having been fired by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not be revealed. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

²⁷ Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man will give to you; for God the Father sealed this One.

¹¹ And he received a sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of faith while in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be counted to them also,

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. ¹⁵ For you did not receive a spirit of slavery again to fear, but you received a Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba! Father! ¹⁶ The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God.

²³ And not only so, but also we ourselves having the firstfruit of the Spirit, also we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly expecting adoption, the redemption of our body;

³⁰ And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed to the day of redemption.

¹⁹ However, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, " The Lord knew those being His;" Num. 16:5, also, Let everyone naming the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.

¹⁷ The one who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one overcoming, I will give him to eat from the hidden manna. And I will give to him a white stone, and on the stone a new name having been written, which no one knows except the one receiving it .

³ Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we seal the slaves of our God on their foreheads.

⁴ And it was said to them that they should not harm the grass of the earth, nor every green thing, nor every tree, except only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son, how without ceasing I make mention of you

²¹ What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of meekness?

⁵ to deliver such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

¹⁸ But God is faithful, that our word to you did not become yes and no.

¹ But I decided this within myself, not to come to you again in grief. ² For if I grieved you, who yet will be making me glad, if not the one being grieved by me? ³ And I wrote this same thing to you, lest coming I might have grief from those of whom I ought to rejoice, trusting in you all that my joy is the joy of all of you.

² but I ask, not being present, that I may be bold with the confidence which I think to be daring against some, those having thought of us as walking according to flesh.

⁶ and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, whenever your obedience is fulfilled. ⁷ Do you look at things according to appearance? If anyone has persuaded himself to be of Christ, let him think this again as to himself, that as he is of Christ, so also we are of Christ. ⁸ For even if I also somewhat more fully should boast about our authority (which the Lord gave us for building up and not for pulling you down), I will not be put to shame; ⁹ so that I may not seem to frighten you by letters. ¹⁰ Because, they say, the letters are weighty and strong, but the bodily presence is weak, and his speech being despised. ¹¹ Let such a one think this, that such as we are in word through letters, being absent, such we are also being present in deed.

¹¹ Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.

² I said before, and I say beforehand, as being present the second time and being absent now. I write to those previously sinning, and all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare;

¹⁰ Because of this, I write these things while absent, that being present I may not deal sharply with you according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for pulling down.

²⁰ And what I write to you, behold, before God I do not lie.

⁸ For God is my witness how I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

⁵ For neither were we then found with words of flattery, even as you know, nor with pretense of covetousness (God is witness),

²⁰ of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan, that they may be taught not to blaspheme.

⁸ But do not you be called Rabbi, for One is your Leader, the Christ, and you are all brothers. ⁹ And call no one your father on earth, for One is your Father, the One in Heaven. ¹⁰ Nor be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Christ.

⁴⁹ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and to drink with the ones drinking,

¹² and this is to be comforted together among you, through the faith in one another, both yours and mine.

² through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.

²⁰ Well! For unbelief they were broken off. And you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but fear.

⁵ What then is Paul? And what Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, and to each as the Lord gave?

¹ But, brothers, I reveal to you the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand,

⁵ For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves for the sake of Jesus.

⁷ (for we walk by faith, not by sight),

¹⁴ Then stand firm, "having girded your loins about with truth" and having put "on the breastplate of righteousness," Isa. 11:5; 59:17 ¹⁵ and having shod the feet with the preparation of the "gospel of peace." Isa. 52:7 ¹⁶ Above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the darts of the evil one, having been made fiery.

²⁴ But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing, ²⁵ in meekness teaching those who have opposed, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth, ²⁶ and they may awake out of the snare of the Devil, having been taken captive by him, so as to do the will of that one.

³ nor as exercising lordship over the ones allotted to you, but becoming examples of the flock.

⁸ Be sensible, watch, because your adversary the Devil walks about as a roaring lion seeking someone he may devour; ⁹ whom firmly resist in the faith, knowing the same sufferings are being completed in your brotherhood in the world.
