¹ So we therefore as workers together beseech you, that ye receiue not the grace of God in vaine.

⁸ Howe doe yee say, Wee are wise, and the Lawe of the Lord is with vs? Loe, certeinly in vaine made hee it, the penne of the scribes is in vaine.

³⁷ Hierusalem, Hierusalem, which killest the Prophets, and stonest them which are sent to thee, how often would I haue gathered thy children together, as the henne gathereth her chickins vnder her wings, and ye would not!

³ So therefore they abode there a long time, and spake boldly in the Lord, which gaue testimonie vnto the woord of his grace, and caused signes and woders to be done by their hands.

¹ I Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that yee giue vp your bodies a liuing sacrifice, holy, acceptable vnto God, which is your reasonable seruing of God.

⁹ For we together are Gods labourers: yee are Gods husbandrie, and Gods building.

¹⁸ And all things are of God, which hath reconciled vs vnto himselfe by Iesus Christ, and hath giuen vnto vs the ministerie of reconciliation. ¹⁹ For God was in Christ, and reconciled the world to himselfe, not imputing their sinnes vnto them, and hath committed to vs the word of reconciliation. ²⁰ Now then are we ambassadours for Christ: as though God did beseeche you through vs, we pray you in Christes steade, that ye be reconciled to God.

¹ We doe you also to wit, brethren, of the grace of God bestowed vpon the Churches of Macedonia, ² Because in great triall of affliction their ioy abounded, and their most extreme pouertie abounded vnto their rich liberalitie.

¹ Nowe I Paul my selfe beseech you by the meekenes, and gentlenes of Christ, which when I am present among you am base, but am bolde toward you being absent:

²¹ I doe not abrogate the grace of God: for if righteousnes be by the Lawe, then Christ dyed without a cause.

⁴ Haue ye suffered so many things in vaine? if so be it be euen in vaine.

¹¹ I am in feare of you, lest I haue bestowed on you labour in vaine. ¹² Be ye as I (for I am euen as you) brethren, I beseech you: ye haue not hurt me at all.

¹¹ For that grace of God, that bringeth saluation vnto all men, hath appeared,

¹⁵ Take heede, that no man fall away from the grace of God: let no roote of bitternes spring vp and trouble you, lest thereby many be defiled.

²⁵ See that ye despise not him that speaketh: for if they escaped not which refused him, that spake on earth: much more shall we not escape, if we turne away from him, that speaketh from heauen.

¹⁰ Let euery man as hee hath receiued the gift, minister the same one to another, as good disposers of the manifolde grace of God.
