²¹ And it comes in that day, Yahweh will check over on the host of the height, in the height, and on the kings of the ground, on the ground,

¹² He shall restrict the spirit of governors, He Who is fear inspiring to the kings of the earth. {Permanent{ {On Acclamation{ "

⁶ May exaltations of El be in their throat And a serrated sword in their hand, ⁷ To execute vengeance on the nations, Corrections on the national groups;" ⁸ To bind their kings with manacles And their glorious nobles with fetters of iron, ⁹ To execute the written judgment against them, This is the honor of all His benign ones. Praise Yah."

¹² Yet it comes, when Yahweh will clip off all His doings in mount Zion and in Jerusalem, I will visit evil on the fruit of the insolent heart of the king of Assyria, and the high beauty of his eyes."

²⁵ For still a little bit and the menace will be concluded, and My anger over their strategy." ²⁶ And Yahweh of hosts will brandish a whip over him, as the smiting of Midian at the rock Oreb, and His rod will be over the sea, and He will lift it up in the way of Egypt." ²⁷ And it comes in that day, He will withdraw his burden off your back, and his yoke off your neck, and the yoke will rot in view of the stoutness."

¹ For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and He chooses still in Israel, and He leaves them on their own ground. And the sojourners are obligated to them, and they are adherents to the house of Jacob." ² And many peoples take them, and they bring them to their ground and to their place. And the house of Israel allots them on the ground of Yahweh for servants and for maids. And they come to be captors of their captors, and they sway over their exactors."

¹⁰ for the hand of Yahweh will rest in this mountain.And threshed is Moab under Him as crushed straw is threshed by a threshing sledge." ¹¹ And He spreads forth His hands within it, as the swimmer is spreading his hands to swim, and He abases its pride with the ambushes of His hands, ¹² and the impregnable fortress of your walls He prostrates. He lays it low. It attains to the earth, unto the soil."

² For the wrath of Yahweh shall be on all the nations, and fury on all their host. He will doom them, and He will give them to the slaughter." ³ And their wounded shall be flung away, and from their corpses shall ascend their stink. And the mountains will melt from their blood, and the vales shall be rent and putrefied." ⁴ All the host of the heavens shall decay, and rolled up as a scroll are the heavens, and all their host shall decay as decays the leaf from the vine, and as a decaying leaf from the fig tree." ⁵ For soaked in the heavens shall be My sword. Behold! On Edom shall it descend, and on the people I doom for judgment." ⁶ The sword of Yahweh will be full of blood. It lubricates itself from the fat of lambs, and from the blood of butting rams and he-goats, from the fat of kidneys of rams. For there shall be a sacrifice to Yahweh in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom." ⁷ And down come the uruses with them, and the young bulls with the bulls, and their land will be soaked with blood, and their soil shall be sleek from fat." ⁸ For a day of vengeance is it for Yahweh, a year of repayments for the contention of Zion." ⁹ And its watercourses will be turned into pitch, and its soil into sulphur, and its land shall become as pitch, ¹⁰ and shall be consumed by night and by day, and it will not be quenched for the eon; its smoke shall ascend from generation to generation, and it shall be deserted permanently, for permanence, and no one shall pass in it." ¹¹ Yet the pelican shall tenant it and the hedgehog, and the eagle owl and the raven shall roost in it. And leveling tape of chaos shall stretch out over it, and the plumb stones of vacancy." ¹² And its notables nowhere shall call it a kingdom, and all its chiefs shall come to a limit." ¹³ And briars shall come up in its citadels, the sting nettle and the thistle in its fortresses. And it becomes a homestead of jackals, and a court for the ostrich." ¹⁴ And falcons shall encounter each other in arid places, and the hairy goat shall call to its associate. Yea, there shall lull the hoot owl, and find for itself a rest." ¹⁵ There shall nest the scops owl, and it lays and hatches and sets in its shadow. Yea, there shall the black kites be convened, the dam with her mate." ¹⁶ Inquire from the scroll of Yahweh and read:None of them shall be deranged. The dam does not miss her mate. For the mouth of Yahweh instructs them, and His spirit, it convenes them." ¹⁷ And He will cast the lot for them, and His hand will apportion it to them by a tape level. Till the eon shall they tenant it; for generation after generation shall they roost in it."

¹ And there is a word of Yahweh unto me, saying:" ² `Son of man, set your face unto Gog, of the land of Magog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him, ³ and you have said:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I [am] against you, O Gog, Prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, ⁴ And I have turned you back, And I have put hooks in your jaws, And have brought you out, and all your force, Horses and horsemen, Clothed in perfection all of them, A numerous assembly, [with] buckler and shield, Handling swords--all of them." ⁵ Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them [with] shield and helmet." ⁶ Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah of the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with you, ⁷ Be prepared, yea, prepare for you, You and all your assemblies who are assembled unto you, And you have been to them for a guard." ⁸ After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come in unto a land brought back from sword, [A people] gathered out of many peoples, Upon mountains of Israel, That have been for a perpetual waste, And it from the peoples has been brought out, And dwelt safely have all of them." ⁹ And you have gone up--as wasting you come in, As a cloud to cover the land are you, You and all your bands, and many peoples with you." ¹⁰ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:And it has come to pass in that day, Come up do things on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought, ¹¹ And you have said:I go up against a land of unwalled villages, I go in to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And bar and doors they have not." ¹² To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back your hand on inhabited wastes, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making cattle and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land." ¹³ Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to you:To take a spoil are you come in? To take a prey assembled your assembly? To bear away silver and gold? To take away cattle and substance? To take a great spoil? ¹⁴ Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know? ¹⁵ And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses--all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force." ¹⁶ And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, In the latter end of the days it is, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog." ¹⁷ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who are prophesying in those days--years, To bring you in against them? ¹⁸ And it has come to pass, in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Come up does My fury in My face, ¹⁹ And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken:Is there not in that day a great rushing on the land of Israel? ²⁰ And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And thrown down have been the mountains, And fallen have the ascents, And every wall to the earth falls." ²¹ And I have called against him, to all My mountains a sword, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, The sword of each is against his brother." ²² And I have been judged with him, With pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, Fire and brimstone I rain on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him." ²³ And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh!"

⁹ Proclaim this among the nations! Hallow a war! Rouse the masters! All the mortals of war shall come close and ascend. ¹⁰ Pound your mattocks into swords and your pruning hooks into lances! The defeatist shall say, a master am I!" ¹¹ Mobilize and come, all nations from round about! And they are convened. There, Yahweh, settle Your masters!" ¹² All the nations shall rouse and ascend to the vale of Jehoshaphat. For there will I sit to judge all the nations from round about. ¹³ Send forth the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine trough is full, the wine vats run over, for great is their evil." ¹⁴ Throngs, throngs in the vale of decision! For near is the day of Yahweh in the vale of decision!" ¹⁵ The sun and the moon are somber, and the stars gather in their brightness." ¹⁶ And Yahweh shall roar from Zion, and from Jerusalem shall He give forth His voice, and the heavens and the earth shall quake. Yet Yahweh is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the sons of Israel." ¹⁷ And you shall know that I am Yahweh, your Elohim, tabernacling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall come to be a holy city, and aliens shall pass in her no longer."

¹⁹ Egypt shall become a desolation, and Edom shall become a wilderness desolation because of wrong done to the sons of Judah--when they shed innocent blood in their land."

²¹ Speak to Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, viceroy of Judah, saying:I am quaking the heavens and the earth, and the sea and the drained land." ²² And I will overturn the thrones of kingdoms, and I will exterminate the steadfastness of the kingdoms of the nations, and overturn the chariot and its riders, and the horses and their riders go down, each man by the sword of his brother."

¹² And this shall come to be the stroke with which Yahweh will strike all the peoples who mustered their hosts against Jerusalem:Putrefied is their flesh, yet they are standing on their feet, and their eyes shall putrefy in their holes, and their tongue shall putrefy in their mouths." ¹³ And it comes to be in that day, much discomfiture is coming from Yahweh among them. And they take fast hold, each to the hand of his associate. Yet his hand will come up against the hand of his associate." ¹⁴ And, moreover, Judah shall fight in Jerusalem, and the estate of all the nations round about shall be gathered, gold and silver and garments exceedingly much." ¹⁵ And so shall come to be the stroke of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and all the beasts, which shall come to be in these camps, as this stroke." ¹⁶ And it shall come to be that everyone left of all the nations coming against Jerusalem, shall also go up, a quota, year by year, to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the celebration of booths." ¹⁷ And it comes, whoever will not go up from the families of the earth, to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, then the downpour shall not come on them." ¹⁸ And if a family of Egypt shall not go up, and shall not come, then it is not on them; to it shall come the stroke with which Yahweh will strike all the nations, which will not go up to celebrate the celebration of booths." ¹⁹ This shall be the sin of Egypt, and the sin of all the nations, that will not go up to celebrate the celebration of booths."

¹⁴ And heaven recoils as a scroll rolling up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place." ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the magnates, and the captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every slave and freeman, hide themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains." ¹⁶ And they are saying to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him Who is sitting on the throne, and from the indignation of the Lambkin, ¹⁷ for the great day of Their indignation came, and who is able to stand?

¹⁴ These will be battling with the Lambkin, and the Lambkin will be conquering them, seeing that It is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with It are called and chosen and faithful."

⁹ And the kings of the earth, who commit prostitution and indulge with her, will be lamenting and grieving over her whenever they may be observing the smoke of her conflagration,

¹⁸ that you may be eating the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all freemen as well as slaves, and of small and of great." ¹⁹ And I perceived the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered to do battle with Him Who is sitting on the horse and with His army." ²⁰ And the wild beast is arrested, and with it the false prophet who does the signs in its sight, by which he deceives those getting the emblem of the wild beast, and those worshiping its image. Living, the two were cast into the lake of fire burning with sulphur." ²¹ And the rest were killed with the blade which is coming out of the mouth of Him Who is sitting on the horse. And all the birds are satisfied with their flesh.
