⁵⁴ And having seized Him, they led Him away, and led Him into the house of the high priest. And Peter was following afar off.

⁵⁷ And those having seized Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. ⁵⁸ And Peter was following Him from afar, even to the court of the high priest. And having entered within, he was sitting with the guards to see the outcome.

⁵³ And they led away Jesus to the high priest. And all the chief priests, and the elders, and the scribes come together. ⁵⁴ And Peter followed Him from afar off, as far as to within the court of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers and warming himself at the fire.

³³ And he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death.” ³⁴ And He said, “I tell you Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you will deny three times knowing Me.”

¹² Then the cohort and the commander and the officers of the Jews took hold of Jesus and bound Him. ¹³ And they led Him away to Annas first; for he was father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest the same year. ¹⁴ Now Caiaphas was the one having given counsel to the Jews that it is profitable for one man to perish for the people. ¹⁵ And Simon Peter and the other disciple were following Jesus. Now since that disciple was known to the high priest, he also entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest. ¹⁶ But Peter stood at the door outside. Therefore the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper and brought in Peter. ¹⁷ Therefore the servant girl, the doorkeeper, says to Peter, “Are you not also of the disciples of this man?” He says, “I am not.”

²⁴ Then Annas sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
