⁵³ Every day of Me being with you in the temple, you did not stretch out the hands against Me; but this is your hour, and the power of the darkness.”

¹² And Jesus entered into the temple and cast out all those selling and buying in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves. ¹³ And He says to them, “It has been written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” ¹⁴ And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. ¹⁵ And the chief priests and the scribes, having seen the wonders that He did and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” were indignant

²³ And of Him having come into the temple, teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him, saying, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave to You this authority?”

⁴⁵ And the chief priests and the Pharisees, having heard His parables, knew that He speaks about them. ⁴⁶ And seeking to lay hold of Him, they feared the crowds, because they were holding Him as a prophet.

³⁷ And during the day He was teaching in the temple, and in the evening going out, He was lodging on the mount called Olivet. ³⁸ And all the people would come to Him early in the morning in the temple, to hear Him.

²⁵ Therefore some of those of Jerusalem were saying, “Is this not whom they seek to kill? ²⁶ And behold, He speaks publicly, and they say nothing ever to Him. Have the rulers truly recognized that this is the Christ?

³⁰ Therefore they were seeking to take Him, but no one laid the hand upon Him, because His hour had not yet come.

⁴⁵ Therefore the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why did you not bring Him?”

²⁷ Now My soul has been troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But on account of this I came to this hour.

³⁰ No longer will I speak much with you; for the ruler of this world comes, and in Me he has nothing.

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and will lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be grieved, but your grief will turn to joy. ²¹ The woman has pain when she is giving birth, because her hour has come; but when she brings forth the child, she remembers the tribulation no longer, on account of the joy that a man has been born into the world. ²² Therefore you also indeed have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those having been sanctified by faith in Me.’

³ But if indeed our gospel is concealed, it is concealed to those who are perishing, ⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so as for not to beam forth the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ⁵ For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for the sake of Jesus. ⁶ For it is God, having said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” who shone in our hearts for the radiance of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹² because to us the wrestling is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

¹³ who has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son,

⁹ And the great dragon was thrown out, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, deceiving the whole inhabited world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying: “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ have come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, the one accusing them before our God day and night. ¹¹ And they have overcome him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of the word of their testimony; and they have not loved their life unto death. ¹² Because of this, rejoice O heavens, and those dwelling in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great fury, knowing that he has a short time.”
