⁴⁸ And Jesus answering said to them, “Are you come out with swords and clubs as against a robber, to capture Me? ⁴⁹ Every day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But it is that the Scriptures may be fulfilled.”

⁴ And having gone away, he spoke with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them.
