12 Then the cohort and the commander and the officers of the Jews took hold of Jesus and bound Him.
13 And they led Him away to Annas first; for he was father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest the same year.
14 Now Caiaphas was the one having given counsel to the Jews that it is profitable for one man to perish for the people.
15 And Simon Peter and the other disciple were following Jesus. Now since that disciple was known to the high priest, he also entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest.
16 But Peter stood at the door outside. Therefore the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper and brought in Peter.
17 Therefore the servant girl, the doorkeeper, says to Peter, “Are you not also of the disciples of this man?” He says, “I am not.”
