²⁷ μέλλει (Is about) γὰρ (for) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (of the) ἀνθρώπου (man) ἔρχεσθαι (to come) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δόξῃ (glory) τοῦ (the) Πατρὸς (Father) αὐτοῦ (of Him), μετὰ (with) τῶν (the) ἀγγέλων (angels) αὐτοῦ (of Him); καὶ (and) τότε (then) ἀποδώσει (He will give) ἑκάστῳ (to each) κατὰ (according to) τὴν (the) πρᾶξιν (deeds) αὐτοῦ (of him).

³⁰ Καὶ (And) τότε (then) φανήσεται (will appear) τὸ (the) σημεῖον (sign) τοῦ (of the) Υἱοῦ (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐν (in) ‹τῷ› (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), καὶ (and) τότε (then) κόψονται (will mourn) πᾶσαι (all) αἱ (the) φυλαὶ (tribes) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), καὶ (and) ὄψονται (they will see) τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐρχόμενον (coming) ἐπὶ (on) τῶν (the) νεφελῶν (clouds) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (of heaven) μετὰ (with) δυνάμεως (power) καὶ (and) δόξης (glory) πολλῆς (great). ³¹ καὶ (And) ἀποστελεῖ (He will send) τοὺς (the) ἀγγέλους (angels) αὐτοῦ (of Him) μετὰ (with) σάλπιγγος (a trumpet call) μεγάλης (great), καὶ (and) ἐπισυνάξουσιν (they will gather together) τοὺς (the) ἐκλεκτοὺς (elect) αὐτοῦ (of Him), ἐκ (from) τῶν (the) τεσσάρων (four) ἀνέμων (winds), ἀπ’ (from) ἄκρων (the ends) οὐρανῶν (of the heavens) ἕως (to) ‹τῶν› (the) ἄκρων (ends) αὐτῶν (of them).

³¹ Ὅταν (When) δὲ (then) ἔλθῃ (comes) ὁ (the) υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δόξῃ (glory) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) πάντες (all) οἱ (the) ἄγγελοι (angels) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him), τότε (then) καθίσει (He will sit) ἐπὶ (upon the) θρόνου (throne) δόξης (of glory) αὐτοῦ (of Him).

¹³ εἰς (in order) τὸ (-) στηρίξαι (to strengthen) ὑμῶν (your) τὰς (-) καρδίας (hearts), ἀμέμπτους (blameless) ἐν (in) ἁγιωσύνῃ (holiness) ἔμπροσθεν (before) τοῦ (the) Θεοῦ (God) καὶ (and) πατρὸς (Father) ἡμῶν (of us) ἐν (at) τῇ (the) παρουσίᾳ (coming) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) ἡμῶν (of us) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus), μετὰ (with) πάντων (all) τῶν (the) ἁγίων (saints) αὐτοῦ (of Him). ⁷ καὶ (and) ὑμῖν (to you) τοῖς (-) θλιβομένοις (being oppressed), ἄνεσιν (repose) μεθ’ (with) ἡμῶν (us) ἐν (at) τῇ (the) ἀποκαλύψει (revelation) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) ἀπ’ (from) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), μετ’ (with) ἀγγέλων (the angels) δυνάμεως (mighty) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ⁸ ἐν (in) πυρὶ (a fire) φλογός (of flame), διδόντος (inflicting) ἐκδίκησιν (vengeance) τοῖς (on those) μὴ (not) εἰδόσιν (knowing) Θεὸν (God) καὶ (and) τοῖς (on those) μὴ (not) ὑπακούουσιν (obeying) τῷ (the) εὐαγγελίῳ (gospel) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) ἡμῶν (of us) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus),

⁵ Πίστει (By faith) Ἑνὼχ (Enoch) μετετέθη (was translated), τοῦ (-) μὴ (not) ἰδεῖν (to see) θάνατον (death); καὶ (and) οὐχ (not) ηὑρίσκετο (was he found), διότι (because) μετέθηκεν (had taken up) αὐτὸν (him) ὁ (-) Θεός (God). πρὸ (Before) γὰρ (for) τῆς (the) μεταθέσεως (translation), μεμαρτύρηται (he was commended) εὐαρεστηκέναι (to have pleased) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God). ⁶ χωρὶς (Without) δὲ (now) πίστεως (faith), ἀδύνατον (it is impossible) εὐαρεστῆσαι (to please Him). πιστεῦσαι (To believe) γὰρ (for) δεῖ (it behooves) τὸν (the one) προσερχόμενον (drawing near) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God), ὅτι (that) ἔστιν (He exists), καὶ (and that) τοῖς (to those) ἐκζητοῦσιν (earnestly seeking out) αὐτὸν (Him), μισθαποδότης (a rewarder) γίνεται (He becomes).

⁷ Ἰδοὺ (Behold), ἔρχεται (He is coming) μετὰ (with) τῶν (the) νεφελῶν (clouds), καὶ (and) ὄψεται (will see) αὐτὸν (Him) πᾶς (every) ὀφθαλμὸς (eye), καὶ (and) οἵτινες (those who) αὐτὸν (Him) ἐξεκέντησαν (pierced), καὶ (and) κόψονται (will wail) ἐπ’ (because of) αὐτὸν (Him) πᾶσαι (all) αἱ (the) φυλαὶ (tribes) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth). ναί (Yes)! ἀμήν (Amen)!
