Mark 14:32-42

Worsley(i) 32 And they came to a place called Gethsemane, and He saith to his disciples, Sit here whilst I go and pray. 33 And He taketh Peter and James and John with Him, and He began to be overwhelmed with terror and anguish. 34 And He saith unto them, My Soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death, stay here and watch. 35 And going a little farther, He prostrated Himself, and prayed, if it were possible, that this hour might pass from Him. 36 And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to Thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless, not what I will, but what thou wilt. 37 And He cometh and findeth them asleep, and saith to Peter, Simon, art thou sleeping? couldst thou not watch one hour? 38 Watch, and pray, that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the body is weak. 39 And He went away again, and prayed, after the same manner. 40 And when He returned, He found them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy; and they knew not what to say to Him. 41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Are ye sleeping still and taking your rest? It is enough, the hour is come: behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 42 Rise, let us go; see the traitor is at hand.
