MLV(i)
And they come to a parcel of ground of which the name is Gethsemane, and he says to his disciples, Sit here until I should pray.
And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be utterly amazed and disheartened.
And he says to them, My soul is very sorrowful until death, remain here and watch.
And he went forward a little, and fell upon the earth and was praying in order that, if it was possible, the hour might pass away from him. 36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible for you; carry this cup away from me, but not what I will, but what you will.
And he comes and finds them sleeping, and says to Peter, Simon, do you sleep? Were you not strong-enough to watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray, in order that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed eager, but the flesh is weak.
And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words.
And having returned, he found them sleeping again, for their eyes were heavy, and they did not know what they should answer him.
And he comes the third-time and says to them, Furthermore, are you sleeping and resting yourselves? It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is given up into the hands of sinners. 42 Arise, we should be going. Behold, he who is giving me up has drawn near.
