2 There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
3 Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the ear behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops.
4 “Further, I say to you, my friends: do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have nothing more that they can do.
5 Rather, I will advise you whom you should fear—fear Him who after He kills has authority to cast into Gehenna; yes indeed, fear Him!
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God.
7 Even the hairs of your head are all numbered! So do not be afraid; you are far more valuable than sparrows!
8 “Also I say to you, whoever claims me before men, the Son of Man will also claim him before the angels of God.
9 But whoever disclaims me before men will be disclaimed before the angels of God.
