25 All your valuations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs to the shekel.
26 However, the first-born of an animal, which should be the LORD's first-born, no man shall sanctify it, whether an ox, or sheep, it is the LORD's.
27 If it be an unclean beast, then let him redeem it as it is set at, and give the fifth part more thereto. If it be not redeemed, then let it be sold as it is rated.
28 However, no devoted thing that a man shall devote to the LORD of all that he has, either of man or animal, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed. Every devoted thing is most holy to the LORD.
29 `No devoted thing, which is devoted of man, is ransomed, it is surely put to death.
30 And all the tenth of the land from the seed of the land, from the fruit of the tree, is to the LORD: it is holy to the LORD.
31 If a man redeems anything of his tithe, he shall add a fifth part to it.
32 And all the tithe of the herd and of the flock, all that passes under the rod, a tenth shall be holy to the LORD;
33 "'You must not look to see if it is good or bad or exchange it. If you do exchange it, both the first animal and its substitute will be holy. They may not be bought back.'"
