He says to the rain: 'Be strong.' ⁷ He sealeth up the hand of all men, that every one may know his works. ⁸ Then the animals take cover, and remain in their dens. ⁹ "The storm wind comes from its chamber and cold from the north wind. ¹⁰ By the breath of God ice is given: and the broad waters are frozen. ¹¹ Yea, He loads the cloud with moisture; He scatters His lightning cloud; ¹² »They swirl about on the face of the inhabited earth. They do whatever God commands. ¹³ Whether he cause it to come as a rod, or for his land, or in mercy.
