Ezekiel 12:3-12

VIN(i) 3 Therefore, you son of man, prepare you belongings for moving, and move by day in their sight; and you shall move from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house. 4 »Bring out your bags as if you were going into exile. Let them see this in the daylight. In the evening let them see you leave like a captive going into exile. 5 Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry out your belongings through it. 6 "Let them see you put your bags on your shoulders and carry them out in the dark. Cover your face so that you won't see the land. I have made you a sign to warn the nation of Israel." 7 I did as I was commanded: I brought forth my belongings by day, as if for exile, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the dark, and carried it on my shoulder in their sight. 8 And in the morning the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 9 "Son of man, did the rebellious nation of Israel ask you what you were doing? 10 Say to them, 'Thus says the Sovereign LORD: This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the people of Israel who are in it'. 11 Say, I am your sign: As I have done, so it shall be done to them. They shall go into exile, into captivity. 12 '"The prince who is among you will put his bags on his shoulders in the dark and leave. People will dig holes in the wall to go through. The prince will cover his face so that he cannot see the land.'"
