22 Samuel brought Saul and his servant to the banquet hall. They sat down at the head of thirty guests.
23 Then Samuel said to the cook, "Bring the portion that I gave you, the one I told you to set aside."
24 The cook took up the thigh and what was on it and set it before Saul. Samuel said, Here is what has been kept for you! Eat it because it has been kept for you for this occasion since I said, 'I have invited guests'. So Saul ate with Samuel that day.
