Luke 10:1-8

Thomson(i) 1 After these things, the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them, two and two; before him, to every city and village whither he himself was soon to go; 2 and he said to them, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Entreat therefore the Lord of the harvest to send forth labourers for his harvest. 3 Go ye. Behold I send you forth like lambs among wolves. 4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor sandals. And salute no one by the way. 5 And into whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house. 6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace will rest upon it; but if not, it will return to you. And 7 continue in the same family, eating and drinking such things as they have. For the labourer is worthy of his wages. Go not from one family to another. 8 And into whatever city you enter, when they entertain you eat such things as are set before you.
