After these things, the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them, two and two; before him, to every city and village whither he himself was soon to go;
and he said to them, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Entreat therefore the Lord of the harvest to send forth labourers for his harvest.
Go ye. Behold I send you forth like lambs among wolves.
Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor sandals. And salute no one by the way.
And into whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
And if the son of peace be there, your peace will rest upon it; but if not, it will return to you. And
continue in the same family, eating and drinking such things as they have. For the labourer is worthy of his wages. Go not from one family to another.
And into whatever city you enter, when they entertain you eat such things as are set before you.
