(15:3) And when they came to the multitude, a man came to him, kneeling to him and saying,
Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic, and suffers greatly. For he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
And I brought him to your disciples and they could not cure him.
Jesus answered and said, O unbelieving and perverse generation! How long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to me.
And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him, and the child was cured from that hour.
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, Why could we not cast it out?
And Jesus said to them, On account of your unbelief. For I tell you truly, if you have a faith like a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Be removed thence to that place, and it shall be removed; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
But this kind goes not out, except by prayer and fasting.
