(6:6) And when much time had already passed, his disciples came to him and said, This is a solitary place, and much time has already passed;
dismiss them, that they may go to the farms and villages around, and buy them something to eat.
And he answered and said to them, Give them something to eat. And they said to him, Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii [$28] worth of bread, and give them to eat?
And he said to them, How many loaves have you? go and see. And knowing, they said, Five, and two fishes.
And he commanded them to cause all to recline in companies on the green grass.
And they sat down in squares, by hundreds and by fifties.
And taking the five loaves and two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them. And he divided the two fishes to all.
And they all eat, and were filled;
and they took up of fragments twelve traveling-baskets full, and of the fishes.
And they that eat the bread were five thousand men.
