Matthew 14:24-33

Riverside(i) 24 The boat was already far out from land, beaten by the waves, for the wind was against them. 25 In the fourth watch of the night, he came to them walking on the water. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified, saying that it was a ghost, and they cried out with fear. 27 But at once Jesus spoke to them and said, "Courage. It is I. Do not be afraid." 28 Peter answered, "Sir, if it is you, bid me to come to you on the water." 29 Jesus said, "Come." Then Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. 30 But seeing the wind he became frightened, and, beginning to sink, he cried out, "Sir, save me!" 31 At once Jesus stretched out his hand and grasped him and said, "O man of little faith, why did you doubt?" 32 After they got into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 Then the men in the boat bowed down to him and said, "Truly you are the Son of God."
