Matthew 14:24-33

Godbey(i) 24 And the ship was already midsea, laboring by the waves; for the wind was contrary. 25 And at the fourth watch of the night, He came to them, walking on the sea. 26 And the disciples seeing Him walking on the sea, were afrighted, saying, It is a specter; and they cried out from fear. 27 And immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Be of good cheer; I am here; fear not. 28 And Peter responding said, Lord, if thou art there, command me to come to thee on the waters. 29 And He said, Come. And Peter having come down from the ship, walked on the waters, and came toward Jesus. 30 And seeing the wind strong, became alarmed; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And Jesus immediately reaching out His hand, received him, and says to him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And they having come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 And those in the ship having come worshiped Him, saying, Truly thou art the Son of God.
