Luke 16:2-8

Riverside(i) 2 Calling him to him, he said, 'What is this that I hear about you? Give an account of your management; for you cannot longer be manager.' 3 The manager said to himself, 'What shall I do? for my master is going to take the management away from me. I have not strength to dig; I am ashamed to beg. 4 I know what I will do, so that when I am dismissed from the management they may welcome me into their houses.' 5 So, calling to him all of the debtors of his master, he said to the first, 'How much do you owe to my master?' 6 He replied, 'A hundred measures of oil.' He said, 'Take your account and sit down quickly and write fifty.' 7 Then to another he said, 'And you, how much do you owe?' He replied, 'A hundred measures of wheat.' He said to him, 'Take your account and write eighty.' 8 The master praised the wicked manager because he had done prudently. For the sons of this world are with reference to their own generation wiser than the sons of light.
