Matthew 15:21-31

Noyes(i) 21 And Jesus, going from thence, withdrew to the parts of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And, lo! a woman of Canaan came out from those borders, and cried out, saying, Have compassion on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is grievously afflicted with a demon. 23 But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying Send her away, for she is crying out after us. 24 But he answered and said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then she came and fell down before him, saying, Lord, help me! 26 But he answering said, It is not allowable to take the childrens bread, and throw it to the little dogs. 27 And she said, Yea, Lord; for the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the table of their masters. 28 Then Jesus answering said to her, O woman, great is thy faith; be it done to thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was cured from that hour. 29 And departing thence, Jesus came near the lake of Galilee; and going up the mountain, he sat down there. 30 And great multitudes came to him, having with them those who were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at his feet, and he healed them; 31 so that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb speaking, the maimed sound, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they gave glory to the God of Israel.
