30 And the priestes and Leuytes puryfyed them selues, and clensed the people, the gates and the wall.
31 And I caused the princes of Iuda to go vp vpon the wall, and appoynted two greate queers of thankesgeuynge, whiche wente on the ryghte hande of the wall towarde the Dong gate,
32 and after them wente Hosaiah, and half of the princes of Iuda,
33 & Asaria, Esdras, Mosolam
34 Iuda, Ben Iamin, Semeiah and Ieremy,
35 and certayne of the priestes chyldren wyth trompettes, namely Zachary the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Semeiah, the sonne of Mathaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zecur, the sonne of Asaph,
36 and hys brethren, Semeiah, Asarael, Melalai, Galalai, Maai Nathanael and Iuda and Hanani, wyth the musicall instrumentes of Dauid the man of God. And Esdras the Scrybe before them,
37 towarde the wellgate, and they went vp ouer agaynste them vpon the steppes of the cytie of Dauid at the goynge vp of the wall to the house of Dauid, vnto the watergate Eastewarde.
38 The other queer of thankesgeuynge went ouer agaynste them, and I after them, & the halfe parte of the people vpon the wall, towarde the Fornacegate vpwarde, vntyll the brode wall,
39 and to the porte of Ephraim, and to the oldegate, and to the Fyshgate, and to the tower of Hananeel, and to the tower of Meah, vntyll the shepegate. And in the presongate stode they styll,
40 and so stode the two queers of thankesgeuynge of the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers wyth me,
