11 Thus sayeth the Lorde of Hostes: Euen so wyll I destroye thys people and cytie: as a Potter breaketh a vessell, that can not be made whole agayne. In Topheth shall they be buried, for they shall haue none other place.
12 Thus wyll I do vnto this place, also sayeth the Lorde, and to them that dwell therin: yee I wyl do to thys citie as vnto Topheth.
13 (For the houses of Ierusalem & the houses of the kynges of Iuda are defyled, lyke as Topheth) because of all the houses, in whose parlers they dyd sacryfyce vnto all the hooste of heauen and poured out drincke offringes vnto straunge goddes.
14 And so Ieremye came from Topheth, where the Lorde had sent hym to prophecye, and stode in the courte of the house of the Lorde, and spake to all the people:
