Matthew(i) 1 When ye deuyde the lande by the lot, ye shal put a syde one parte for the Lorde, to be holy from other landes: namely .xxv.M. meteroddes longe, and .x.M. brode. This shalbe holye, as wyde as it is rounde aboute. 2 Of thys parte there shall belonge vnto the Sanctuary .v.C. meteroddes in all the foure corners, and .l. cubytes wyde rounde aboute to the suburbes. 3 And from this measure, namelye of .xxv.M. meteroddes longe, and .x.M. brode, thou shalt measure, wherin the Sanctuary and the holyest of all maye stande. 4 The resydue of that holye grounde shall be the prestes, whiche do seruyce in the Sanctuarye of the Lorde, and goo in before the Lorde to serue hym, that they maye haue rowme to dwell in. 5 As for the Sanctuarye, it shall stande for it selfe: and to the Leuites that serue in the house, there shalbe geuen .xx. habytacyons, of the .xxv.M. length and .x.M. bredth: 6 ye shall geue also vnto the cytie a possessyon of .v.M. meteroddes brode, and .xxv.M. longe, besyde the parte of the Sanctuary: that shall be fore the whole house of Israell. 7 Vpon both the sydes of the Sanctuarys parte, and by the cytye, there shalbe geuen vnto the prynce, whatsoeuer lieth ouer agaynst the cytyes, as farre as reacheth westwarde and eastwarde: whiche shalbe as longe as one parte, from the west vnto the east. 8 This shalbe hys owne lande in Israell, that my prynces be no more chargeable vnto my people. And soch as remayneth yet ouer in the lande, shalbe geuen to the house of Israell accordynge to their trybes. 9 Thus sayeth the Lord God: O ye prynces, ye haue now oppressed and destroyed ynough: now leaue of, handle now accordyng to the thing, that is equall and lauful: and thrust out my people nomore, sayeth the Lorde God. 10 Ye shall haue a true weyght, a true Ephah, and a true Bath. 11 The Ephah and the Bath shalbe a like. One Bath shall conteyne the tenth parte of an Homer, and so shall one Ephah do: their measure shall be after the Homer. 12 One Sycle maketh .xx. Geras. So .xx. Sicles, and .xxv. & .xv. Sycles make a pounde. 13 This is the heaue offrynge, that ye shall geue to be heaued: namelye, that .xvi. parte of an Ephah, out of an Homer of wheate: and the .xvi. parte of an Ephah, out of an Homer of barly. 14 The oyle shall be measured with the Bath: euen the tent parte of one Bath out of a Cor. Ten Bathes make one Homer: for one Homer sylleth ten Bathes. 15 And one lambe from two hundreth shepe out of the pasture of Israel, for a meatoffringe, burntofferynge and healthoffryng, to reconcyle them, sayeth the Lorde God. 16 All the people of the lande shall geue thys heaue offerynge wyth a fre wyll. 17 Agayne, it shall be the prynces parte to offre burntofferynges, meatofferynges and drynckoffrynges vnto the Lorde, in the holy dayes, new Moones, Sabbathes, and in all the hye feastes of the house of Israell. The synoffrynge, meatoffrynge, brentofferynge and healthoffrynge shall he geue, to reconcyle the house of Israell. 18 Thus sayeth the Lord God: The first daye of the first moneth thou shalt take a yonge bullocke wythout blemyshe, and clense the Sanctuarye. 19 So the preste shall take of the bloude of the synoffrynge, and sprenckle it vpon the postes of the house, and vpon the foure corners of the aulter, with the dore postes of the ynnermer courte. 20 And thus shalt thou do also the seuenth daye of the moneth (for soche as haue synned of ygnoraunce, or beynge disceyued) to reconcyle the house withall. 21 Vpon the .xiiij. daye of the fyrste moneth ye shall kepe. Easter. Seuen dayes shall the feast contynue wherin there shall no sower ner leuened bred be eaten. 22 Vpon the same daye shall the prynce geue for hym selfe and all the people of the lande, a bullocke for a synoffrynge. 23 And in the feast of the seuen dayes he shall offre euery daye a bullocke and a ram, that are without blemish for a burntoffrynge vnto the Lorde: and an he gaote daylye for a synofferynge. 24 For the meatoffrynges, he shall geue euer an Ephah to a bullocke, an Ephah to a ram, and an Hin of oyle to an Ephah. 25 Vpon the .xv. daye of the seuenth moneth, he shall kepe the seuen dayes holy one after another, euen as the other seuen dayes: with the synoffrynge, burntoffryng, meatoffrynge, and with the oyle.
