¹ When ye deuyde the lande by the lot, ye shal put a syde one parte for the Lorde, to be holy from other landes: namely .xxv.M. meteroddes longe, and .x.M. brode. This shalbe holye, as wyde as it is rounde aboute.

²³ Wherfore the Land shall not be solde for euer, bycause that the land is myne, & ye but straungers and soiourners wyth me:

¹³ And Moses commaunded the children of Israel saying: this is the land which ye shal enheret by lotte, and whych the Lorde commaunded to geue vnto .ix. trybes & an halfe:

⁶ al the enhabitoures of the hyll countrey, from Libanon vnto the whote waters euen al the Sydones I will cast them out from before the chyldren of Israel, and se that thou in anye wyse deuyde it by lotte vnto the children of Israel to enheret, as I haue commaunded the.

² gaue them their enheritaunce by lotte, as the Lorde commaunded by the hande of Moses, to geue vnto the nyne trybes, and vnto the halfe trybe of Manasses.

⁵ The Lorde him selfe is my good and my porcion, thou mayntaynest myne enherytaunce. ⁶ The lot is fallen vnto me in a fayre ground, yea, I haue a goodly heritage.

⁹ Honour the Lord with thy substaunce, & with the firstlinges of all thyne encrease:

² Of thys parte there shall belonge vnto the Sanctuary .v.C. meteroddes in all the foure corners, and .l. cubytes wyde rounde aboute to the suburbes. ³ And from this measure, namelye of .xxv.M. meteroddes longe, and .x.M. brode, thou shalt measure, wherin the Sanctuary and the holyest of all maye stande. ⁴ The resydue of that holye grounde shall be the prestes, whiche do seruyce in the Sanctuarye of the Lorde, and goo in before the Lorde to serue hym, that they maye haue rowme to dwell in. ⁵ As for the Sanctuarye, it shall stande for it selfe: and to the Leuites that serue in the house, there shalbe geuen .xx. habytacyons, of the .xxv.M. length and .x.M. bredth: ⁶ ye shall geue also vnto the cytie a possessyon of .v.M. meteroddes brode, and .xxv.M. longe, besyde the parte of the Sanctuary: that shall be fore the whole house of Israell. ⁷ Vpon both the sydes of the Sanctuarys parte, and by the cytye, there shalbe geuen vnto the prynce, whatsoeuer lieth ouer agaynst the cytyes, as farre as reacheth westwarde and eastwarde: whiche shalbe as longe as one parte, from the west vnto the east.

²¹ Thys lande shall ye parte amonge you, according to the tribes of Israell, ²² & deuide it to be an heretage for you, & for the straungers that dwell amonge you, & begette chyldren. For ye shall take them amonge the chyldren of Israell, lyke as though they were of youre owne housholde and countre, and they shall haue heretage with you amonge the chyldren of Israell.

⁸ Vpon the borders of Iuda from the east parte vnto the west, ye shall set a syde one porcion of .xxv.M. meteroddes longe and brode (like as another porcyon from the east syde vnto the west) wherin the Sanctuary shall stande. ⁹ As for the porcyon, that ye shall separate out for the Lorde: it shalbe .xxv.M. longe, & .x.M. brode. ¹⁰ Which separated holy porcyon shall belonge vnto these: namelye to the prestes, towarde the north .xxv.M. and towarde the west .x.M. brode, towarde the east .x.M. brode also, & toward the south .xxv.M. longe wherin the Sanctuarye of the Lorde shall stande. ¹¹ Yee this same place shalbe the prestes that are of the children of Sadoch, and haue kepte my holy ordynaunce: which wente not astraye in the erroure of the chyldren of Israel lyke as the Leuites are gone astraye: ¹² and this separated pece that they haue of the lande shalbe the most holy, harde vpon the borders of the Leuites. ¹³ And nexte vnto the prestes, shall the Leuites haue .xxv.M. longe. and .x.M. brode. This shalbe on euery syde .xxv.M. longe, and .x.M. brode. ¹⁴ Of this porcyon they shall sell nothinge, ner make any permutacyon therof, lest the chefe of the lande fall vnto other, for it is halowed vnto the Lorde. ¹⁵ The other .v.M. after the bredth that lyeth by the .xxv.M. shalbe comen: it shall belonge to the cyte and to the suburbes for habytacyons, & the cyte shall stande in the myddest therof. ¹⁶ Let this be the measure: towarde the north parte .v.C. and .iiij.M. towarde the sout parte .v.C. and .iiij.M. towarde the east parte .v.C. & .iiij.M. towarde the west part .v.C. and .iiij.M. ¹⁷ The suburbes harde vpon the cytye, shall haue towarde the north .L. and .ij.C. towarde the south .L. and .ij.C. towarde the east .L. & two .C. towarde the west also .L. and two .C. ¹⁸ As for the resydue of the length, that lyeth harde vpon the separated holy grounde: namely .x. thousande towarde the east, & .x.M. towarde the west, nexte vnto the holye porcion: it and the increase therof shall serue for their meate, that laboure in the cytye. ¹⁹ They that laboure for the welth of the cytye, shall manteyne this also, out of what tribe soeuer they be in Israel. ²⁰ All that is separated of the .xxv.M. longe and .xxv.M. brode on the foure partes, that shall ye put a syde for the separated porcyon of the Sanctuarye, & for the possessyon of the cyty. ²¹ The resydue vpon both the sydes of the Sanctuary and possessyon of the cytye, shall belonge to the prince, before the place of the .xxv.M. vnto the east ende, & before the place of the .xxv.M. westwarde, vnto the borders of the cytye: this shalbe the princes porcion. Thys shalbe the holy place, and the house of the Sanctuarye shall stande in the myddest. ²² Moreouer from the Leuites and the cytyes possession, that lye in the myddest of the princes parte: loke what remayneth betwixte the border of Iuda & the border of BenIamin, it shalbe the Princes. ²³ Now of the other trybes. From the east parte vnto the west, shall Beniamin haue hys porcion.

²⁹ This is the lande with his porcions, which ye shall dystribute vnto the trybes of Israel, sayeth the Lorde God.

²⁰ At that time shall the riding geer of the horses be holy vnto the Lord, & the kettels in the Lordes house shalbe lyke the basens before the aulter: ²¹ yea al the kettels in Ierusalem & Iuda, shalbe holy vnto the Lord of hostes: & all they that slay offeringes, shall come take of them, & dight them therin. And at that tyme there shalbe no mo Cananites in the house of the Lorde.
