Psalms 11

MLV(i) 1 I take refuge in Jehovah. How will you* say to my soul, Flee like a bird to your* mountain.
2 Because, behold, the wicked bend the bow. They make ready their arrow upon the string that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart. 3 Because the foundations are destroyed, what can a righteous man do?
4 Jehovah is in his holy temple. Jehovah's throne is in heaven. His eyes, behold, his eyelids try, the sons of men. 5 Jehovah tries the righteous man. But his soul hates the wicked man and he who loves violence. 6 He will rain snares upon sinners. Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.
7 Because Jehovah is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright man will behold his face.
