49 Only the tribe of Levi you will not number, neither will you take the sum of them among the sons of Israel,
50 but appoint you the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony and over all the furniture of it and over all that belongs to it. They will bear the tabernacle and all the furniture of it and they will minister to it and will encamp all around the tabernacle.
51 And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites will take it down and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites will set it up. And the stranger who comes near will be put to death.
52 And the sons of Israel will pitch their tents, every man by his own camp and every man by his own standard, according to their armies. 53 But the Levites will encamp all around the tabernacle of the testimony, that there is no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites will keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.
