MLV(i)
3 Then Judas, (the one giving him up), when he saw that he was condemned, regretted and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the high-priests and the elders,
4 saying, I have sinned, giving up innocent blood.
But they said, What is that to us? You will see to it. 5 And tossing the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed. And having gone away, he hanged himself.
6 Now the high-priests took the pieces of silver and said, It is not legal to put them into the depository, since it is the price of blood. 7 Now they took counsel and bought from them the potter’s field, for the burial of strangers.
