1 And Jehovah said to Noah, Come, you and all your house into the ark, because I have seen you to be righteous before me in this generation.
2 You will take to you the male and his female of every clean beast by sevens. And two of the beasts that are not clean, male and his female.
3 Also of the birds of the heavens by sevens, male and female, to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4 For after seven days and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights and I will blot from the face of the ground every living thing that I have made.
5 And Noah did according to all that Jehovah commanded him. 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives went in with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
