1 John 2:24-29 Therefore let what you have heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you have heard from the beginning abides in you, you will also be abiding in the Son and in the Father.

If what you have heard from the beginning abides in you, you will also be abiding in the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise which he promised to us–everlasting life. ²⁶ I have written to you these things concerning those who are misleading you. ²⁷ And as for you, the anointing which you received from him abides in you and you have no need that anyone should teach you, but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is not a lie and just-as it taught you, you will be abiding in him. ²⁸ And now, abide in him, my little-children; in order that we should have boldness whenever he is manifested, and in his presence, we should not be shamed away from him. ²⁹ If you know that he is righteous, you also know that everyone who is practicing righteousness has been born from him.
