Luke 22:24-27

  25 G1161 And G2036 he said [G5627]   G846 unto them G935 , The kings G1484 of the Gentiles G2961 exercise lordship over [G5719]   G846 them G2532 ; and G1850 they that exercise authority upon [G5723]   G846 them G2564 are called [G5743]   G2110 benefactors.
  26 G1161 But G5210 ye G3756 shall not G3779 be so G235 : but G3187 he that is greatest G1722 among G5213 you G1096 , let him be [G5634]   G5613 as G3501 the younger G2532 ; and G2233 he that is chief [G5740]   G5613 , as G1247 he that doth serve [G5723]  .

ERV(i) 24 And there arose also a contention among them, which of them is accounted to be greatest. 25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles have lordship over them; and they that have authority over them are called Benefactors. 26 But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.
