JMNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ²³ So then, taking a hold upon the blind man's hand, He led him forth, outside of the village. Then, upon spitting into his eyes while placing [His] hands on him, He proceeded to ask him, "What, if anything (or: Whatsoever), are you now seeing?" ²⁴ And looking up, he kept on saying, "I continue looking at the people (humans); I continue seeing them as trees continually walking around!" ²⁵ Next, He again put [His] hands upon his eyes, and then he looked throughout and saw thoroughly (= clearly), and he was restored to his former state. He even kept on attentively looking at and seeing everything at a distance quite distinctly.
